Chapter 4- New friendships
The first class went by quickly and the six met again.
"So, how was that?"
Vincent asked Ricky.
"Difficult. I didn't like that at all. I'm still trying to find out what 2/5 divided by 3/7 is."
He said.
"It's not incredibly difficult. You'll catch on."
Vincent said, turning to the other three.
"What do you all have next?"
He asked.
"I've got... Gym! Yes!"
Ricky shouted.
"Same!"
Ryan replied.
"I have too."
Vincent replied.
"Looks like we're staying together.
"Lucky- I have English."
Charles replied.
"Not to worry- I do too."
Rachel told him.
"Hey blaze- what do you have next?"
Vincent asked.
"Me? Oh, I have... Math. I'm alone again."
She said, disappointed.
"It's fine. Lunch will come around soon enough. We'll meet then."
Vincent told them.
"Come on, guys, let's go."
The six all went to their respective classes, excited for lunch. They couldn't wait to meet each other again.
Lunch came around quickly as well, with the first three meeting in the dining area.
Ricky and Vincent looked happy, but Ryan didn't look the same.
"Man, I scored at least four times. That was the best soccer game I've ever had."
Ricky said.
"I set you up for practically all of them."
Vincent replied.
Ryan looked annoyed.
"If only that Beartic knew how to save."
Ryan said.
"He couldn't have stopped the last one. Top corner, from the halfway line? Highlight of my week right there."
Ricky replied. The other three joined them.
"Sorry we're late."
Blaze said, sitting down. The final two followed.
"No worries. You're here now."
Vincent replied.
"So, I was thinking... How would you guys like to come over to my place tonight and play some video games to celebrate our new friendship? We should while we can."
Vincent suggested.
"You know, that sounds quite fun. I say we do it."
Ricky replied. The other four agreed.
"Great, can't wait to see you all there!"
Vincent told them where his house was, and the four finished their lunch. They got ready to finish off the day and head to Vincent's house.
After the day had finished, they all headed there, and the six were all together, ready to play.
"Alright, let's see..."
Vincent said, looking through his game pile.
"We've got these we could play. You guys look through and see what you would like to try. I'll be right back."
He told them.
"Oh, this looks good."
Charles said, pointing to 'Star wars battlefront III'.
"I love Star Wars. We could give that a try."
He suggested.
"Okay, we'll put that one to the side. We'll try it later. I like the look of this one."
Ricky pointed to 'Call of duty- Black ops III'.
"We could try that one."
He suggested.
"What about this one?"
Ryan pointed to 'overwatch'.
"Really? I don't like the look of it myself."
Ricky replied. They put it to the side anyway.
They chose those three, deciding they were good enough to play for the afternoon.
"I'm back."
Vincent replied, putting a bowl of chips on the table.
"Awesome. Thanks man."
Ricky replied.
"We decided on these."
Ricky handed Vincent the games, and he observed them.
"Not bad choices. I would have picked the same."
He replied, putting 'Call of duty' in first.
"Okay, teams, or everyone for themselves?"
Vincent asked.
"I think we should do teams. That would be better I think."
Blaze replied.
"Sure, let's do that then."
Afterward, Blaze and Ricky teamed up, with Vincent and Ryan being another team, having Rachel and Charles on a team together. Blaze, Ricky, Vincent and Ryan played first. They played limited lives, and after a hard fought game, it was left to Ricky and Vincent with one life left. Vincent was better than anyone else at the game, but Ricky was the one to come out as the winner with an accurate shot from a sniper.
"Yeah! That's how it's done!"
He said, smiling.
"Well fought. You did great."
Vincent said, shaking his paw.
They finished playing the game, with Blaze and Ricky being the best team, winning both games.
They moved on to battlefront.
"Hero battles guys! Same teams as before, okay?"
Everyone agreed.
After a quick battle, Vincent and Ryan crushed Ricky and Blaze.
"This game is my life."
Vincent said.
"I've practiced a lot."
Charles and Rachel played, again getting destroyed.
"How is Darth Vader so overpowered?"
Charles asked.
"I have no idea, but Chewbacca is an easy counter. That I do know."
Vincent replied.
They finished playing and the five prepared to leave.
"It was great to be here. Thank you for inviting us."
Ricky said.
"It was great to have you all. See you tomorrow."
Vincent said, closing his door.
Ricky and Blaze left, heading home.
"You're quite good at games. I never imagined you would be."
Blaze said.
"Hey, I'm not that bad."
Ricky said, making Blaze giggle to herself.
"Maybe we can play again sometime. That would be great."
Ricky said.
"Yeah... It would be..."
Blaze replied, deep in thought.
"Are you alright? You seem really distant."
He asked.
"I'm okay. I'm just thinking about how we'll all get along in the future."
She replied.
"I look forward to it. It looks like college will be a great experience, and I'm happy I decided to go."
He said.
The two got the elevator up to their room when Ricky asked a question blaze didn't expect.
"Hey, Blaze?"
"Yes?"
She replied.
"I was just wondering..."
He said.
"How would you like to spend some time in my room with me?"
That's all for now, guys! Sorry that this chapter was shorter than my other ones. I'll be releasing regular updates, hopefully longer than this one in the future. Hope you enjoyed, and see you all later!
