Part 2 to See the Light.

When Y/n slid down, she slowly placed her barefoot against the green grass. She looked around the place and cheered, running around the outside like a child on sugar.

Luca and Alberto's face was stunned, so they decide to join her.

They all spring down around a tree, the two showing her a few amazing things, including the sky, clouds the sun, even gravity!

Y/n giggled through out the entire moment, but that was when she saw a glimpse of the city near the water.

"Do you boys live over there?" She asked, walking near the sea shore.

"Yeah! Uhhhhh no!." Alberto said, walking closer to her. "But! we just visit there today, you should come with us!."

She looked at the tall boy and back to the city.

"Then...how do we cross?"

Luca looked around and gasped seeing a boat near a tree. "Let's use this!"

Alberto nodded "yeah! Let's go grab it."

They went to push the boat over to the shore, splashing it near the water.

"Uhh..." Y/n looked at her hair and pulled most of her hair and putting it in the boat.

Luca and Alberto helped her onto the boat while she made herself comfortable.

Then make their way to Portorosso.

On their way, Y/n was amazed to see how colorful the place was, and so many people surrounding the towns square.

"Wow... Its so beautiful." Y/n got off the boat and walked over to the area but was stopped by her hair, covering the side walk...

"Oops..." She giggled to herself and heard a voice in front of her.

"Excuse me miss, can we help?" A young girl asked her if she could help with her hair.

So the young children help braided her hair to be shorter and more beautiful.

Luca and Alberto helped out as well, which fascinated the towns citizen.

Its like staring into a stunning tree with vines swaying into the wind.

"Aww! Thank you all so much!" Y/n said to the children and they were glad, so they went back to play with a ball.

Y/n turned to the boys holding something behind their backs.

"For the final touch." Luca said and the two placed to pairs of flowers against each side of her hair.

"H-how do I look now?" She gave them a soft smile which made them blush for just how beautiful she looked completely.

"Y-you look great! A-anyways, let's show you around!" Luca said and they given her a tour.

--The next day--

Gothel's POV

I came back from Portorosso to stock up some food for Y/n...so that she'll get enough energy for my youth...

I made my way towards the tower and cleared my throat.

"Oh Y/n! Darling! Let down your hair!"

I waited for her to put down the hair and no answer...

Maybe she didn't hear me? So I tried again...

"Y/n! Its mommy! Let down your hair!"

I shouted again and no response or hair...

What is going on here?...

I rushed over to a door hiding in the bushes and making my way up to her bedroom...

she was no where in sight!!

"Y/n!!" I shout for her name! No hair...no figure...no voice!!

Oh no...where could she be?!

My flower!!

My aging!!

Ill die without her beautiful hair...

That's when I noticed a little loin cloth under Y/n's bed...it looks like it came from a sewn clothing... nothing belonged to anything around here...but it had a fishy smell to it...

Could it be?...

No...

Then I spotted another string of hair...which is like a dark brown...

Oh...so there was someone in the tower...

That little brat!!!!

Looks like Ill have to cross back to Portorosso...

I knew she's out there with that certain someone...or in fact...those sea monsters...

"You can't hide from mother..."

End of POV

"So let me get this straight. You guys ditched the hide out to save a girl with long hair stuck in a tower?" Guilia asked the two boys and they nodded.

"Santa Maria I see where this is going. Anyways, my papa would be glad to keep you company."

Y/n nods "thank you Guilia, I have to say, this place is very lovely."

The redhead shrugged "its alright, so stuck in a tower eh? Are you like the real rapunzel?"

Y/n blushed and nodded "yeah, pretty much."

Luca raised an eyebrow for who that is.

"Who's that?" Alberto asked.

"Its some old fairy tale about a princess with long hair stuck in a tower, and was saved by a prince the end." Guilia shortened the summary of the whole tale.

That's when Y/n blushed from the thought, either one of the two would be her prince.

"Anyways, there's a small music festival happening, we should go!" Guilia stated while heading to the closet.

"Oh! A festival? Is it fun?" Y/n asked while she felt something purr against her hair which was a chubby kitty.

"Oh its fun! Plus, I have the perfect dress for you to wear!" The redhead pulled out a beautiful purple dress which did match the dress she's wearing.

"Ill try it on!"

Guilia then got up and shoo the boys away out of the bedroom so that Y/n would change her dress.

A few moments later, she came out to look like an actual princess.

This filled the eyes with hearts from the two.

"Are they alright?" Y/n asked Guilia, all she did was shrug. "Beats to me...let's go!"

They all went out to the festival where music can be heard on stage.

Y/n looked around the area, seeing the stars shining bright tonight.

She smiled and was stopped by Luca and Alberto holding each her hands.

Then they spin her like ring around.

"You guys have got to be too precious" Guilia stated and joined in the ring around a rosie.

When they stopped,  Y/n noticed a band on stage setting up their instruments.

"Oh! Its gonna start soon! Hey Luca, wanna go grab some drinks quickly?" Guilia asked the short one.

"Uhh Yeah! Sure!" He answered back and they rushed towards the punch bowl.

Alberto chuckled and looks back at Y/n still eyeing over the stage.

Then the bands starts to play.

He noticed her dress is swaying, holding her hands together.

Alberto cleared his voice, holding out his hand for her.

"Wanna dance?" He asked and it made her fluster red around her cheeks. "Id love to." She answered and he held her hands, dancing with her on the dance floor.

It wasn't the best dancing but it still made Y/n enjoy herself.

Luca and Guilia came back and was just in time to see the two.

Luca's POV

She looked so pretty when she's dancing, I never felt this close to someone, well including Alberto...but its like I've known her for a long time...

Oh! She's coming this way!

Yay! I get to dance with her!!

Alberto's POV

Something about Y/n makes me feel hungry, even though her hair is long, she's always cheerful and happy, its what I like from her...she shows happiness.

I don't know either Luca and I would be closer to her...I wouldn't be upset.

"Well, who's this lovely Bella that's dancing with shorty hmm?"

Oh no...

"Hey Ercole..." I said with no interest...

"Id say is her hair real or just a wig hm?" He asked so many questions...I don't want him near Y/n...

"Non of your business Ercole..." I told him to back off but then he shoved my arm away and made his way over to Y/n...this isn't good...

Y/n's POV

I never felt this happy in my 14 years!

Luca stopped and gave me a frightful face...why is he scared?

I felt pair of arms wrapped around me and dragging my body closer to a little fountain.

What's this person doing!?!?!?!

But the person set me down near it, then sat right next to me.

"Relax Bella, I just wanna see your most beauty hair...is it really real hmm? Just thought you'd like to know someone as awesome as those underdogs.."

What is this guy talking about?

"Uhh I don't know who you are and I wanna go back to those dogs?" I got up slowly and then I felt a splash from him going onto my dress.

"Come on! Im very friendly.~" he purred those words which made me feel uncomfortable.

"P-please...don't wet my dress.."

"Aww what's the matter? you afraid of a little bit of water?"

Then I felt water pour down on me while I heard screaming after it was spilled all over...

"Ahh!! A monster!!!"

The guy shouts and I saw Luca and Alberto looked over at me...they aren't screaming?...

"Y-Y/n..." Alberto said softly to me, showing a blush on his cheek...

That's when I saw them get water poured down by two other kids...

In my surprise!! They are....

Like me?....

I-I thought I was the only one?...

"Y/n!!"

M-mother?...

I saw my mother run up to me and hugging me in comfort "back away you filthy humans!!" She shouted and gasped when she spotted Luca and Alberto...

What's going on?..

"Come...lets go back home my dear, there's something I've been saving you..." I felt her squeeze my hand harshly...which stings...

"Good bye! Were off now!" She pulled me back to the boat she road from...then pushed me inside of it without anyone seeing...

Her face turned from nervousness...to anger...

"I told you to never leave the tower...and see what you just did.."

"Mother...why didn't you tell me their were others?..."

She glares "I beg your pardon young lady?.." She asked as if she's mocked.

"You told me I was the only sea monster...and I was special.."

Then she shifts her face from mad to worried "uhh...of course you are! That's because-"

"Then why were they scared of me?! Mother! My friends Luca and Alberto are sea monsters as well-"

"Friends? With those two boys?..."

Oh no...

"So you did lie to mother...? You know what Im gonna do to you as punishment...its not gonna be pretty..." She growled and we row back to the tower...Im not liking this at all...

Luca's POV

Her mother took her away from us...this is not good...

"We need to go back to her!" I told Alberto and he nods.

"But how though?.." He asked and we thought for a moment.

Then an idea.

"Let's try sneaking up to the tower!"

We both nod and head on over to the
water.

I can't believe she's a sea folk like us...

She was so beautiful and colorful...

"Wait!!"

Huh?...oh...its Ercole...

He rushed up to us and handed us a rope and a sharp knife.

"Look...Im sorry about everything...here is my gift to you two...thought it'd be useful.."

Wow...that was unexpected...but we thanked him.

Alberto grabbed the knife and ties it around the rope.

"Let's go save our rapunzel!" He said and we swam back to the tower.
