You were invited for a special breakfast with your best friend Guilia.

You wore a cute black tang top matching with your plaid red skirt.

Making your way out to the Marcovaldo home.

The door opened when you noticed the redhead saw you out the window.

"Ciao! Come come! Papa made french toast! Before they get cold!" She cheered grabbing you to the dining table.

"Your in a good mood." You said to her.

"What do you mean? Im always in a good mood! Now that your here, I made plans for the both of us!"

Your eyes shimmer when looking at the french toast, your mouth drool from the smell of cinnamon and the spreading of cream wrapped around the middle.

You can't wait to eat this.

Before you were about to devour this beautiful piece of art. You see Alberto walking in the kitchen.

Fun fact, you really did have a huge crush on him, not only he is good looking, he also makes you laugh over his terrible puns and jokes.

However you don't even know he likes you back.

Guilia snickers and elbowed your arm, giving you that smirk.

When Alberto grabbed his plate, he was surprised to see you here.

He went to sit besides you and begins to eat up.

"Shut up Guilia!!" You whispered loudly, turning all red.

You began to eat your french toast and you continue.

"This is best food you ever made Papa!" Alberto said while he still has food in his mouth.

You tried not to look because it'll make you laugh.

"Don't eat too fast son, don't wanna have a full stomach before work..." Massimo suggested, finished another batter.

Alberto gulped heavily and turns his head to his adopted father.

"Aww don't worry, Ill be oka-*hiccups*

He jumped and covered his mouth with those wide eyes.

*hiccups*

"Tsk tsk tsk tsk..." Guilia tsked, shaking her head slowly.

"Never eat too fast bro..."

Alberto continued to hiccup and its started to irritate him fully.

"UGH!! MAKE IT STOP!" He shouted, gripping his head down to the table.

Massimo sighed and placed a hand on his shoulder.

"Why don't you take a day off...Ill take care of the fishing for today..." He said softly, lowering his eyebrows to look down at his son.

"Are you sure pap? Ill try to fix thi- *hiccups* UGH!" Once again placed his head back down.

"you girls take care of him while Im gone."

"Yes sir!" You said, making a salute posture to the big man.

So while he went off to work.

Alberto sighed and looked at the two of you girls. However he's staring at you the most.

"Don't worry big bro! We'll find the solution to your problem! Come on Y/N!"

Guilia grabs your arm and head up stairs to her bedroom.

Well great...I feel embarrassed that Y/N has to see me like this...

I hope they'll find a way to stop this...

"So how do we help him?" You asked.

"Well its simple really. Its either get a spoonful of sugar, holding in his breath, apparently he's good at that...or all in all. Scare him"

You raise an eyebrow and thought either one of them would be good.

"Or maybe give him true loves kiss~" Guilia teased.

You turned red once again and shoved her on the bed

"Let's try the sugar one first weirdo." You said, crossing your arms.

Guilia smirks and got up "okay! You do it then."

"Are you serious?!"

She boops your nose playfully and tried to act all innocent.

"Ugh fine!"

So you went downstairs to see Alberto on the couch, still having the hiccups.

Why do I feel so nervous right now...?

"H-hey Alberto?" I asked, tried not to stutter.

He turned to head to see me.

My god those eyes...I could swim in it...

"Y-yeah?." He held in a hiccup, which felt a little bit of pressure in his throat.

"Follow me to the kitchen." I walked over and would hear his footsteps coming behind me. For an odd reason...send a shiver down my spine that he's behind...

I went to grab the sugar cane and a spoon.

"Y-you look lovely today Y/N." He complimented.

I didn't wanna show off, Its hot and its the best opportunity to wear my skirt.

"T-thank you." I whislered and scooped a spoonful of sugar.

I turned to look up at him with the spoon, he seemed a bit nervous...which is odd that Id never seen him act like this.
He's usually all happy and jumpy...I guess these hiccups ruined his mood completely.

"O-Open wide please." I suggested him, and he does pretty slowly.

I leaned the spoon to his mouth and place it over his tongue.

"There you go."

He swallowed the sugar, Im not sure your supposed to. Im not a professional doctor...

"Mmm..."

"I know it taste weird without the cookies. But Im sure it'll help." I gave him a sweet smile.

"Grazie Y/N..."

He leans in closer to me...

Oh my god...i-is he gonna kiss me?!

W-what?!

He pressed his lips against my own, wrapping an arm around my waist.

His lips felt so soft and moisturized...I slowly melt into them.

I closed my eyes and wrapped my arms around his neck.

This continued on for almost 30 seconds...it was amazing.

"OOGA BOOGA!!!!!" Guilia jumped on Alberto's back, scaring him.

This made us pull away quickly and he was frighten by his sister's jumpscare.

"What the heck Guilia?!" Alberto screamed, trying to catch his breath from that big surprise.

"Yay your cured! Thanks for the distraction Y/n!" She gave me a big thumbs up.

Of course...just an excuse to see us finally kissing....

"Ill get you next time..." Alberto glared, at least the hiccups went away.

Guilia walked away, chuckling to herself.

"Well, now that your cured-" I was interrupted by him kissing my cheek.

"You know, you taste more sweeter than sugar~" He gave me that snarky smirk he gave me.
