Ercole's POV

I stepped onto an island which may look pretty dry and crusty. I bet Y/n is around here somewhere!

"Now, let us find my dear future bride and slay that sea monster!" I said proudly while investigating around the island...so far I see nothing....

"Hmm..not this island.."

"H-how about the one next to it...the fish graveyard?" Guido said next to me...

I didn't wanna shout at them for telling me what to do...Id let them choose for me...

"Alrighty! Let's a go!."

I am coming my future wife!!

--Back to the tower--

Alberto was sketching out a draft with Luca on a big piece of paper.

You helped out with the extra detail on what a boat would really look like and what it'll need on it.

"We need a seat for each side if I-"

You stopped when you noticed you were getting really close to the beast, almost like you two were about to kiss.

Alberto turned red and left out a nervous chuckle "b-better be more careful.."

You nodded and blushed as well, gently brushing hair away from your face.

Luca smirked when that happened and he helped with rolling more paper for the space.

You heard a groan coming from the monster, cracking his back from being that position for the best few minutes.

You stood up from the hard wooden floor and held out your hand.

"Let's take a break."

Outside of the tower, the both of you sat near the rock where you would hear the birds.

In your head, something doesn't feel right.

You keep seeing the beast fully smile for the first time...

In your own words, it seems very sweet.

Y/n's Solo

"There's something sweet, and almost kind
But he was mean and he was coarse and unrefined
And now he's dear, and so unsure
I wonder why I didn't see it there before"

That's when you both heard little ruffles in the bush, spotted a squirrel looking at the walnut Alberto was holding.

You come closer to him, gently placed your hand on his arm.

Alberto raised an eyebrow from the unexpected touch, but now he understands.

So he puts down the nut for the squirrel to grab for its dinner.

He spotted Y/n smiling from what he just did...

Alberto's Solo

"She glanced this way, I thought I saw
And when we touched, she didn't shudder at my paw
No, it can't be, I'll just ignore
But then, she's never looked at me that way before"

He then looked up and saw an apple, he decides to grab one for her, maybe share.

He got up from the rock and climbed up the tree behind them to grab the fresh red apple.

Y/n's Solo

"New, and a bit alarming
Who'd have ever thought that this could be?
True, that he's no Prince Charming
But there's something in him that I simply didn't see"

When he returned and split open the apple with his claws, then hands the half to you.

Now that is something new you've never seen before...

Luca's POV

I spotted the whole thing far from the window.

Wow! I need to tell the rest!

I bet they really like each other!

--Almost 2 hours later--

The boat is finally built, you were worried it'll break into pieces when you make your way back to Portorosso.

"Grazie for the help Alberto." You said to the beast giving it the final touch.

"Of course, it really means a lot to you. " That's when he looked away hiding a frown.

You noticed and walked over to him. "A-are you okay?"

Alberto tried to fake a smile and looks at you, a face you weren't really expected to see.

"I-I really enjoyed your company here..." He said softly, only for you to head.

You blushed from those words, not even Ercole would say that.

You thought for a second and held his hand.

"Why don't you come with?"

His eyes widen from the question...he hasn't left the island ever since he became cursed...

"A-are you sure?..."

You nodded and slowly gazed upon his stunning green eyes.

"Of course, Im not afraid."

Alberto smiled sweetly and also gazed into your eyes.

"You can bring the others too, explore and maybe..." You swirl your fingers together.

"Maybe what?" He asked, wanting to know what's on your mind.

"Go on a d-"

Then Alberto gently pulled you close to his side, spotted someone coming this way...

"Well well well...it appears you've held my Bella hostage hmm.."

It was Ercole.

"Who are you...?" Alberto asked with a growl.

"Why I am the protective groom wanting back his bride..."

You pulled away from Alberto "leave me alone Ercole! I would never end up marrying you!" You stood up for yourself until Guido and Ciccio grabbed each of your arms.

"I wouldn't really care anymore Bella...now shut your mouth and watch me kill the beast.." The black haired Italian whispered to your level, shoving you inside the boat.

"No! Don't do this! He's not a monster!!"

Alberto glared and pulls off his coat to reveal his muscles, he isn't afraid to face the human...but he is afraid of losing someone who didn't see him as a monster...

"You wanna fight?...Ill give you a fight..." He said deeply, raising his fist to his face.

"Alberto no!!"

Ercole then grabbed the harpoon and fought with the sea monster in combat.

Alberto's POV

Im not liking this Ercole fellow...and what did he mean he wanted to marry Y/n...she barely likes him...

That's when he pinned me against hard ground...aiming that harpoon against my chest.

"You thought Y/n would ever end up with you? Your nothing but an ugly beast...she better off with me..."

This man is crazy...

I gripped the harpoon away from my chest...almost snapping it, knocking him unconscious in the head.

I pant softly when I hear Y/n cheer for me on the boat about 10 feet away from me...even holding Luca in her hand.

Huh...how did they get here that fast?...

I didn't care...

I slowly swam over to her, placing a soft kiss on her forehead.

"Let's ditch him Bella..."

Her face turned into a deep shade of red...

Is it hot or is that normal for humans?

I don't know...

Before we are ready to head off to her home...

I feel a sharp pain down in my side...

It hurts really bad...I let out a loud scream.

I turned to see Ercole stabbing the broken harpoon blade into me.

"Hah! I got you now monster!!"

End of POV

Then suddenly Guido and Ciccio has had enough, they wrapped a rope around Ercole's arm and tie it around a heavy brick.

"This is for being the real monster Ercole..." Y/n said and pushed him off into the water.

Where he slowly sinks down into the deep...

Right after that...you noticed Alberto is losing a lot of blood...

"No...no..."

You rushed to his body...laying near the edge of the boat.

You gently cupped his face, trying to see he is not going into the light...

"Alberto please..."

He coughed off blood and turned his attention towards you.

"Come on Guido, let's head back!"

The two began rowing back to Portorosso, where you comfort the monster.

Ugo frowns that there isn't much time... He's slowly starting to feel stiff around his body...

"I don't feel too good..." Said Luca...losing consciousness as a tea cup.

"Luca no..."
