"Why would Crystal say such mean things to you?" Jade asked Kelly. "Beats me." Replied Kelly. Jade thought for a moment. This can't be true. It's just impossible to imagine Crystal being so harmful. She seemed like such a nice girl. Jade couldn't stop thinking. The bell rings. "Time for recess. Wanna hang out?" Kelly told Jade. "Yep." Jade replied. They started walking out to the playground. Kelly led Jade to Crystal. "Hey Jade!!!" Crystal shouted. "Just ignore her Jade." Kelly demanded. "We are going to go walk around where the soccer players are." Jade then realized something. The This can't be true... thought went away. She got a new thought. This can't be true, because it isn't. She's trying to blackmail me. I never realized she could be so demanding. She is trying to pull me away from my best friend and I can't let that happen. Jade thought. "Kelly." Jade asked, "Yeah?" Kelly replied. "I don't want to be your friend anymore. I know you are blackmailing me. I'm leaving. Now." Jade started to walk away till she heard Kelly say, "I'm not sure you want to do that." Jade was now furious. She turned and looked back at Kelly. "Why not?" Jade asked, puzzled. "For the specific fact that if you were to walk away right now, I will get you suspended. Not only will you be suspended, but you won't have any more friends. The teachers wouldn't trust you and neither will Crystal, Jennifer, and Jessica. You know, I always hated Jessica. Maybe she should be the first one I flick off of my shoulder. I always found her the most annoying thing in the world. Eww. Just the the of that Cocker Spaniel makes me want to vomit." Kelly told Jade. "You can't do this. It's not fair!!!" Jade yelled back. "Isn't it obvious? You already believed me. All I have to do is spread a horrible rumor to ruin your reputation. In order to stop me, you have to do exactly what I say. You aren't aloud to tell anybody I told you this or say Bye-Bye to your reputation. *giggles*" Jade had to think. Everywhere she was she felt like Kelly was there. Jade was frightened. What will I do?
