With her new family, Sandy loves belly rubs, her body being scratched and carrots. Lots and lots of carrots.

Sometimes she's a pain and barks for no reason, but the bond between her and her family is filled with love, and that's the nature of animals. We can't understand everything.

She has a backyard to run in, she used to run away out of the house a lot. Not anymore, she listens and she trusts her family.

When the family got her, Sandy was skinny, and after good food and love, she grew to overweight. Now, she's slimming down to a good weight.

When there's a storm, or fireworks, she hides. But, many animals don't like the loud sound.

Sandy can be weird and strange, but she has a great personality, and can be annoying. But, she will always be with you.

She's a mother who looks out for her family and kids.

And, for Christmas, please spend the word that animals are living creatures. Treat them with respect and love. How would you feel if this happened to you?
