Walking though the paths leading to the dens of many of Dreamchaser kingdom inhabitants. Is Head Healer Lynx a lynx pointed rag doll tom hes currently on his was to the nursers den. Fish had come back not too long ago after one of the nursers had given birth. As he reached the den he saw Guard Moonlight the only Nurser at the time. She was laying on her side with two little kits at her stomach her tail warped safely around them.

"Moonlight" the healer whispers carefully not to wake the sleeping kits. The white and silver tabby she-cat lifted her head from its place on her paws to look at him. She smiled at him a small one but one at that, she look like she had been crying. Her fur matted with exhaustion and her eyes held grief.

"Lynx why are you here?" She asked her voice quiet and soft.

"I came to see you and the kits tho Fish said there were three" he replied.  Moonlights eyes darken and her smile faded.

"He died" she sighed sadly looking at the spot that should of had her second son but held nothing.

"I'm sorry" Lynx moved closer to the hurting nurser.

"So am I" she meows moving her eyes back to him tears in her eyes, but then she smiles.

"So want to know their names?"

The tom nods. She points her tail at the first one a beautiful white and ginger tabby she-cat.

"This is Star" she says happily.

"And this is Leo" she says moving her tail to the next one a small silver tabby tom.

"They are beautiful you did good" the tom tells her placing his tail on both kits once before turning his attention to their mother.

"Lynx I'm scared" she whispers with wide eyes that held fear.

"Of what?" He cooks his head curiously.

"What if I'm a terrible mom"

"Don't think like that Moon you're going to be a great mother" his eyes lock with hers as he smiles at her.

"Thanks" she yawns.

"I should go" he presses his head to hers before leaving something hes good at apparently. He walks out the den but pauses at the entrance. The she-cat inside was already sleeping curled up with her kits. He sighs looking at them, she was his best friend and he left her those moons ago. He hated himself for doing it for leaving her, he loved her and still doses.

"I'm sorry for leaving my love" he whispers before making his way to his den.

The healer wakes with the moon still high in the sky shining brightly down upon him. He gets up from where he lays and stretches before padding out his den as head healer he gets his own den. When he gets outside he notices something's off as he's not standing on the ledge that leads of his den. Instead he's in a beautiful field with the wind blowing at his fur. Snow cover the ground leaving footprints as he walked.

What's going on? He thought where am I. He's never been here before and was very confused. The stars were shining brighter then anything he's ever seen. He continues walking forward, looking around as he did so. There was no trees or bushes just field that didn't seem to end.

He walked for what seemed like moons before finely reaching a pond. The water was a beautiful silvery color and he could see small lights swirling inside. He puts his right paw in the water and watches the lights go from whitish yellow to a amber color. He jumps back and the lights change back to their original color.

"What?" He whispers to no one as no one was there or so he thought.

"Beautiful isn't it" a voice says from behind causing him to whip around to face the cat the voice came from. Standing before him is a ugly brown she-cat with next to no fur and piercing dark blue eyes.

"Who are you?" Lynx growls.

"That's not important" she says sitting beside the pond. His eyes never leaving he as she did so.

"Where am I?" He questions her.

"You're in between the Skylands and the Kingdoms" she answers casually. She puts her left paw in the pond and the lights go dark blue.

"Why doses it so that?"

"Its showing us what are soul looks like" she takes her paw out.

"What do you mean?"

"Put you paw in"

He dose as she tells him and the lights turn amber again but this time there's white as well.

"The white tell us you're good, of it was Black then you're bad but they can always change" she explains. He watches as the white dances with the amber.

"I'm not here to just to tell you how the soul pond works" she meows looking at him.

"Then why are we here?" He pulls his paw put and licks it dry.

"You must take Leo as you're trainee" she states.

"Why?"

"The fate of you're kingdom relies on it" the she-cat stands and starts to walk off.

"Wait! What's you're name" he stands looking in her direction. She just keeps walking, you could see bone though her ugly fur. She's almost out of site when she turns and looks at him.

"Valleyfur"

Then she's gone and he wakes again but this time for real.
