Currently the two of us were waiting for Jin to show up after he agreed to meet up with Rose and I.
I was definitely ready to play match maker for the two of them and I was hoping it went well. I remember way back when Jin use to think she was cute but we're older now so I had no idea if his taste in woman had changed.
"Hey." I hear and look up just as Jin approaches our table, making his way over to my side. "Hey, you remember Rose, right?" I ask as I motion across the table to her.
"Of course, it's good to see you." Jin says as he takes a seat beside me. "You too, you look a lot different now." She says with a slight giggle.
I could tell by the twirling of her hair she definitely found Jin attractive still. Given how Jin was acting now I could also tell he thought she was too.
I knew it wouldn't take much to get the two of them talking so I decided not to chip in much unless they directed something at me.
Soon enough they seemed to forget I was even there as they got lost in their conversation.
"I'm going to head out, I have some things I need to do." I say, taking this moment as the perfect opportunity to give them some alone time.
They didn't even seem to mind I was leaving as they both gave me a quick goodbye. With that, I left the two soon to be love birds alone.
With the way it was going so far, it seemed it may go in a very good direction, and I was glad.

As soon as I made it home, I got a text from Jin thanking me for setting the two up and that it was going well.
I was glad that what started as a catch up with an old friend turned into a match making date for the two of them.
The only downside was now I had nothing to do. I had lied when I said I did because I needed an excuse to leave but in reality, I had not a single thing to do.
As boredom started to get the best of me, I texted Hoseok to see if he wanted to come over and luckily, he did.
I waited what felt like forever before he finally got here.
"So, you just left the two of them? Was it going that well?" Hoseok chuckled as he sat down beside me on the couch.
"Yup, they barely even noticed I left." I laugh. "Good, Jin needs a woman in his life. He's always so focused on his business. He could use a little love." Hoseok says as he leans into my side.
"Speaking of love, I missed you." He then says as he turns my chin so that I'm facing him before he presses his lips to mine softly.
I kissed him back, enjoying the feeling of his lips on mine. When we pulled back, I smiled. "I missed you too."
Hoseok grabbed ahold of my hand and intertwined our fingers. "Oh yeah, the other day at work Seo-Yun came over to me." I start which makes Hoseok's brow furrow.
"What did he want?" "He just offered me some help with my work I was struggling with and then he said that he still wanted to be friends. Of course, if you're not okay with that then I won't. I don't want you to worry." I say, instantly knowing Hoseok may not like the idea. Again, it was a respect thing.
"I mean it'll bother me a little but I'm not going to tell you who you can and can't be friends with. You're a grown woman and make your own decisions. Besides, I trust you." He says and I smile and lean my head against his shoulder.
"Thank you that means a lot." I say, squeezing his hand a bit tighter. "Of course. If there's one thing I know for sure it's that I can trust you, so I have no reason to worry. Unless of course he tries something but let's hope it doesn't come to that."
I nod as I snuggle into Hoseok's side more. For the rest of the night, we stay cuddled up on the couch together watching tv.
When it came time for him to go, I definitely felt sad. I wanted him to stay over but I wasn't sure we were quite ready for that. I was willing to wait though, it would be okay.
Once he left, I headed into my room and gathered up my stuff for work tomorrow before I laid down in bed.
I stared up at the ceiling for a while just thinking about everything Hoseok had said to me tonight. Knowing that he trusted me made me so happy.
Of course, I had never given him a reason not to trust me and I never would but still, it felt nice to hear it.
I just wondered if Seo-Yun and I could actually have a friendship. After all, it's not exactly the easiest to be friends with someone you use to date. Possible, but not easy.
I didn't want to overthink it too much, so I let the thought slip away as I closed my eyes, feeling the tiredness washing over me.
Just like that, I was out like a light.
