Dedicated to all those of you that have lost a family pet.  Know that you are loved and missed by them.

A coat that shined the purest black,

Now peppered with white and grey.

Born a sprightly little pup,

Now a spiritless old girl.

A short car ride later,

I said a sad, sad goodbye.

You may be gone from my sight,
