I know it's been weeks or even months since I updated and I'm ready to face the deadliest and most terrifying tortures you're going to give me. And now I present to you Chapter 7! 

Poppy's POV

I was sorting different kinds of snacks into large crystal-like bowls for my sleepover tonight. Wait! I forgot to hang the decorations! And choose my pajamas! And I still didn't know if Branch was coming! I sighed, I was so distracted, so oblivious to my surroundings lately after the sudden confession from Branch. 

I was filled with mixed emotions, confusion spread like wildfire. I'm starting to like Forest, I certainly have something for him, but with Branch, ever since the adventure we became close and I've had feelings for him. What kind of feelings? I wasn't sure but it was deep. 

I sighed again, alright finished with the food, now the decorations. I went to my storage room, and opened a drawer,  pink chains and pretty pink bows appeared. I came back to my room and was about to hang them until I was interrupted by a knock.

"Coming!" I responded. I opened the door without knowing who it was. But it wasn't a who it was a what, there an envelope lied on my doorstep. 

Poppy,

I'm sorry about earlier, and I'm sorry that I can' t come to your sleepover.

Branch

My eyes widened at this, and looked around for a certain troll, but unfortunately there wasn't a soul to be found. I understand Branch, I forgive you. I looked down sadly and went back inside.

Ok, you can kill me now
