"Slow down." Collin called out as Sherlyn began to run towards Ardeth's apartment as soon as the elevators opened.

"Where is Ardeth?" Sherlyn asked as soon as Nick opened the door.

"He is..." Before he could complete his sentence, Sherlyn ran past him inside the apartment.

"Ardeth!" Sherlyn called out aloud.

"Sherlyn?" Ardeth asked confused walking out of his room, wiping his wet hair with a towel.

"Are you alright?" Sherlyn cried hugging him.

"What happened to me?" Ardeth asked confused as Sherlyn continued to cry holding him.

"Nick said something's wrong with you, I was scared." Sherlyn sniffed wiping her tears.

Ardeth looked at Nick, who walked inside the living room, with Collin following him.

"Sorry, I lied." Nick apologized, and Collin smacked him on his head.

"You both speak, while I have a word with Nicholas." Collin said to Ardeth, and pulled Nick out of the door.

Ardeth led Sherlyn into his room, and made her sit on his bed.

"Water." Ardeth said giving a glass of water to Sherlyn.

Sherlyn gulped down the water, to cool down her nerves.

Ardeth took the glass from her, and placed it on the table before he spoke.

"Are you avoiding me?" Ardeth asked without beating around the bush.

Sherlyn looked down at her feet, she knew she need to tell Ardeth about the baby, but she didn't know how to.

"Sherlyn." Ardeth called sitting beside her on the bed, and lifting her face with his hand to make him face her. "Did I do anything wrong?"

"No." Sherlyn shook her head, "It's not about you, it's about me." She cried standing up making Ardeth's heart thud against his chest.

"What about you?" Ardeth asked carefully, and Sherlyn looked at him nervously.

"It's okay baby, whatever it is, we will figure it out together." Ardeth said taking a deep breathe, "I will always stay on your side, no matter what, tell me what it is?" He said holding Sherlyn's hand.

"I...I am pregnant." Sherlyn cried.

"What?" Ardeth asked shocked.

"I took a test, I am pregnant." Sherlyn said looking at Ardeth.

"You are pregnant with my child?" Ardeth asked looking at Sherlyn, and she nodded biting her lip, as tears filled her eyes.

Ardeth left her hand, making the tears roll down her eyes.

"I am going to be a father." Ardeth whispered as his knees buckled down and he fell to the ground on his knees, his shoulders hunched.

Sherlyn looked at Ardeth in panic as he fell to the ground infront of her.

"Ardeth." Sherlyn panicked as she saw his shoulders shake, only then did she realise that he was crying. "Ardeth, why are you crying?" She asked kneeling beside him on the floor.

"I always wanted a family, now I am going to be a father, I am so happy." Ardeth said wrapping his arms around Sherlyn, pulling her into a hug.

"You are not mad?" Sherlyn asked breaking the hug.

"Why would I be?" Ardeth furrowed his brows.

"I thought you don't want to become a father in a young age." Sherlyn answered. "And since you have a lot in your plate, you wouldn't be happy with the news."

"True, I am still struggling to make my career, and there are a lot of things going in my life, but that doesn't mean I would be mad at you for having my baby."

"Is this is why you were behaving differently with me from past three days?" Ardeth questioned.

"Yes." Sherlyn nodded. "I was scared that you would accuse me."

"How could you even think about me like that?" He shouted making Sherlyn jump, he took a deep breathe and continued. "I agree this is sudden but I am also responsible for making the baby as much as you, it takes two to make a tango, in our case a baby. I would have never blamed you for that."

"I am sorry." Sherlyn apologized hugging him, "I was scared."

"It's okay, I am here for you now." Ardeth rubbed her back. "Are you happy?" He asked nervously.

"At first I was scared, but now I am happy, I love our baby." Sherlyn smiled, "What about you?"

"I couldn't be more happy." Ardeth smiled, "I am having a baby, a baby with you, it is a greatest happiness, I wouldn't have asked for more."

"I love you." Sherlyn said kissing him.

"I love you and our baby" Ardeth smiled kissing her back, his hand resting on her belly.

Ardeth and Sherlyn walked inside the living room hand in hand with bright smiles on their faces.

"We are going to be parents." Ardeth announced.

"Congratulations Sherry and Sky." Nick said wrapping both of them in a hug. "And I am sorry for pulling that prank earlier." He apologized to Sherlyn.

"It's okay, we sorted the things earlier because of you." Sherlyn smiled.

"What did you think about the baby?" Nick asked.

"We are keeping the baby." Ardeth answered.

"Off course you are." Nick nodded, "But when are planning to tell to your parents?"

"My family doesn't need to know." Ardeth said firmly, "I am going to have my own family now, I don't want my father or Tristan anywhere near."

"What about Sherlyn's father?"

"We will tell him tomorrow?" Ardeth asked looking at Sherlyn.

"The earlier the better." Sherlyn said holding Ardeth's hand.

"That's sorted." Ardeth said, "I will come to your home tomorrow and together we can tell your father." He said and Sherlyn nodded.

"June knows about the baby, that makes one person less." Ardeth sighed.

"Who is June?" Nick asked confused.

"June, Sherlyn's cousin, Johan's girl, I thought you are friends with her." Ardeth said.

"Her name's Marcie." Sherlyn smacked his arm.

"Oops, sorry." Ardeth bit his tongue, making Sherlyn roll her eyes.

"Where is Collin?" Sherlyn asked looking around.

"I am here." Collin said walking inside the living room carrying a tray.

"I ordered fish 'n chips for you, as a token of apology." Nick said forwarding the tray towards Sherlyn, making her run in the direction of restroom.

Ardeth rushed to Sherlyn's side as soon as he saw her hunching over the toilet seat, throwing up. He pulled back her hair, rubbing her back, as she continued to throw up.

"I can't." Sherlyn gasped sitting on the ground, after she cleaned her mouth.

"Are you ok, Sherlyn?" Ardeth asked wrapping her hands around her.

"I am unable to keep anything down. I ate some real food after two days and I threw it up now." Sherlyn cried hugging Ardeth.

"I am sorry, baby." Ardeth consoled her, "Did you visit the doctor?"

Sherlyn shook her head in No.

"It is common during initial days of pregnancy." Sherlyn explained.

"I will book an appointment." Ardeth said lifting Sherlyn in his arms, and carrying her to the bed.

Sherlyn rested her head in the crook of Ardeth's neck, for some reason his scent had a soothing effect on her nerves, for which she felt grateful.

"Lay down with me." Sherlyn said looking at Ardeth, and he slipped down beside her.

"I am happy that you are here for me..us." Sherlyn smiled snuggling closer to Ardeth.

"I will always be there for you both." Ardeth said wrapping his arm around Sherlyn, pulling her closer.
