Misha's POV:

Happy? No, I was the happiest person when Aarav told me the happy news which he wanted to give me the day I went to his office. He totally forgot to tell and even I didn't asked but last night when I remembered the same I immediately called him to ask what the news was and he narrated the whole incident where Varun was not comfortable when Aarav's friend Viren complimented me. Aarav didn't told me what his friend complimented but he did say that, Varun replied him saying that,

'Beautiful, is the compliment I would have appreciated more.'

Well that was not the only thing, I also came to know that when Aarav's friend asked whom I am married too, Varun immediately answered that it is him, whom I'm married too. I don't know about anything else but I'm definitely happy that maybe not in front of me but at least he has told someone that I'm his wife otherwise I thought that he would never say that.

"When are you friends coming?" Mom asked as she saw me coming out of my room. Yesterday's movie gave me the idea to find out the truth and I was so excited for it, I needed some help which was not possible from Janvi so I had only one option and that was calling my three idiots. Siddhi, Karthik and Pranita. I asked mom if I could call them home because I missed them, she was totally ok with it and gave me full permission to call my friends whenever I want.

"Afternoon." I replied. She then asked me if I need her help in preparing the snacks.

"No mom, I will handle, you go and take some good rest."

"What's the use of physical rest when you can't rest mentally?" She asked glancing downstairs to the place where Varun was sitting, busy doing something on his laptop.

"Then tell me what made you lie, I promise I will solve everything." I assured her hoping that she will tell me the truth however she didn't. no problem, I will find out myself.

"You are looking so happy today." Janvi said as she saw me coming towards her.

"I am happy, very happy in fact." I replied and felt Varun glancing at me. and you are the reason behind it, I wanted to scream this sentence in his ear but I was well aware that I can't so I smiled him, which immediately made him to turn his gaze. Rude.

"Is it because your friends are coming?" Janvi asked.

"Not exactly but yeah, I'm happy for that as well. I will tell you later what the main reason is." I said and went to kitchen as I was very hungry.

Soon it was After noon and I heard the door bell ring, which was the sign that everyone's here. I quickly went and opened the door and best and favourite people standing there.

"I missed you so much." I said as I hugged Siddhi, it has been so many days that we didn't met, chat or sometimes call is the only source of communication we had.

"I met you both yesterday but still I'm happy to see you guys again." I said to the other two, giving them a quick hug. I welcomed them in and introduced them to Janvi. Varun was sitting there as well but I was not sure whether he will react or not, so it was better for me to keep quite.

"Hi Jiju." Siddhi said happily as they both had a hand shake. I'm so jealous.

"Where is Isha?" She asked as Varun replied her saying that she is sleeping. Siddhi then handed him a bag which she was carrying with her.

"Her dress. Now it will fit her properly."

"Wow, We met just yesterday and today you are already done with the dress. You did it so quick. Thank you so much." He said taking the bag from her. they met yesterday? Omg yes, they did. how did I forgot that he was going to meet her. I hate you Siddhi for not telling me the details.

"You didn't tell about the payment yesterday, at least tell it now, please. And don't say that we are relatives and so you won't charge for your service." Varun requested. payment huh? Idiot.

"Don't worry about that, Misha already did." She replied as they both looked at me. no, I didn't but I will gift her something like every other time. She is my sister but that doesn't mean, I shouldn't pay her, after all she works so hard for it.

"You didn't tell me about it." Varun spoke.

"It's no big deal, right?" I asked and got a simple nod in return.

"By the way, this is Karthik and Pranita, my best friends." I finally introduced them.

"Hi, nice to meet you both." Varun said extending his hand for a handshake. wow, I wasn't expecting that but wait, does he has problem only with me? He is nice with everyone, every single person but never with me.

"Let's go." I took Karthik's hand and dragged him with me as he was person next to me. I made them sit comfortably and went to call mom as she wanted to meet them. Where as Varun left from there, saying that he has some work.

"Why didn't you tell me yesterday that you met him?" I asked Siddhi as I came back.

"I called, you didn't receive it."

"Yeah. I'm sorry. By the way, what happened?" I asked.

"Nothing much, he came. We tried that dress on Isha, she looked so cute, Varun has a picture of her. The dress was little loose, he told me to fix it. I then asked him why didn't you came, for which, he replied that you went to meet your friend. I tried to make him jealous and yes, he was because he looked little angry when I was talking about Karthik." She said everything in one breath and laughed when she said Karthik's name.

"Jealous because of me? Why? Doesn't he knows?" Karthik asked.

"You shut up." Me and Pranita both said at the same time.

"Even now, when you were holding his hand, Varun glanced at your hand and then his expression changed." Pranita said.

"I guess I'm going to die of happiness today." I said and told them what Aarav told me.

"Wow, that's great. Maybe it's the start." Pranita said as Siddhi and Karthik agreed with her. I wish but I don't think so. Maybe he is jealous, maybe not but I don't ever get any positive vibes from him.

"But you stay away from me." Karthik said making everyone laugh.

"You know I won't do that." I said resting my head on his shoulder.

"Varun isn't here to look at us."

"I didn't do it for him, moreover I have never done something to make him jealous." I replied.

"Actually yes, I forgot you are already very clingy." He said making me slap his arm. Soon Mom came downstairs and I introduced her with me, she sat with us for sometime and then excused herself. I took them to the terrace, as now it was the time that I discuss for my plan.

"So what's the plan?" Pranita asked.

"I don't have any plan but we can make one." I said and told them the idea which I got while watching yesterday's movie. So basically it was a scene where the husband in law of the lead character, make his wife to admit the sins, she has committed by talking about them to other people to see if his wife has any reaction when she hears it and when he sees that, his wife is affected when heard about all the sins, he goes and talks to her, ask her so many questions, confront her and then finally, she does admit everything.

"Why do you think this plan will work?" Siddhi asked sounding totally uninterested. She was sure that the plan won't work.

"There's no harm in trying, right?"

"So how are we going to talk?" Pranita asked.

"Maybe we will talk about how, some family members force other members to do some things, like we can show that we are sharing our experience."

"It's not going to work, I don't find it appropriate. Think of something else." Pranita said.

"As misha said, there isn't any harm in trying right?" Karthik defended me.

"Ok. Who do you think must have made aunty to do it?" Siddhi asked. I don't know.

"Her mother in law, maybe. Same like yesterday's movie." Pranita answered her question.

"No, of course not. Varun is her favorite grand son, she won't ever do this to him. If she knew about it, she would have been the first person to stop everything, she won't do something which will hurt varun." I replied.

"Then his dad, because if Varun would have been sad and depressed, he wouldn't have joined their family business." Karthik suggested. No, dad can't do that either. Varun is apple of his eyes.

"Tanvi's parents? Because they wanted Isha to be good and safe?" Siddhi suggested.

"That's not the case either." I replied and told them the news I came to know from Janvi. After Tanvi's death, one of Varun's aunt wanted him to marry her sister's daughter and Tanvi's parents were against it. Varun never came to know about it but yes, there was a proposal made which was denied by Tanvi's parents.

"See, here you don't even know who must have done that and you want to make a plan." Pranita said as I literally lost all the hopes I had.

"I'm sorry. I wasted your time. It was a stupid idea." I said sadly.

"Come on girl, don't lose hope. I don't know the plan will work or not but we are going to try it anyway." Siddhi said assuring me.

"So that means, blaming all her in-laws?" Pranita asked.

"It's not blaming. Moreover we are not going to talk about her in-laws, we are just going to share our pretended experience." Karthik corrected her and told everyone what we are supposed to do.

"Are you sure, we should do this?" I asked and this time he told me to shut up.

We went downstairs and saw Mom sitting there busy reading some magazine. As decided Pranita started talking about her cousin, who's brother troubles her a lot. I waited for Mom to notice us and soon she did, she even indulged herself in our conversation by asking what was Pranita talking about.

"See, I told you." Karthik said proudly and then though none of them was interested in this plan, they made it work so nicely. They left no stone unturned to do the same. I was really impressed by all the fake incidents they were inventing. I love them so much.

They almost talked about all their pretended relatives and friends and even Mom looked very disturbed when one of the relative was mentioned. I was definitely shocked to see that because I never imagined it, so I signalled them to talk about it one more time and Mom was affected again. No!

After they were done talking, Mom went back to her room, leaving everyone alone.

"Got your answer?" Pranita asked.

"I still can't believe. This can't be true."

"Misha, you saw it yourself." Siddhi scolded me.

"Yeah I know but it's hard to believe and how am I even going to confront her saying that name? If it won't turn to be true, I'm going to get screwed and moreover I will be the one feeling guilty about it, always."

"But you have to do it, if you want to find the truth." Siddhi said glaring at me.

"I will."

"Thank you so much guys, I love you." I said and hugged them. Karthik was the last one, when I broke the hug, I saw Varun looking at us, as he just entered in the living room. why god why?
