Misha's POV:

As I reached outside Aarav's office, my heart beat raised. All the while I was excited to see Varun but now that excitement turned into nervousness.

"Is everything ok?" Dad asked. He was home today and had some work afterwards so he offered me ride. It was a good entertainment on my way, he kept talking about his business and how he wants Varun to be involved in it. He told me about his future plans and asked me the same. I always love talking to him because it's never a one sided conversation, he involves other person in it too by asking their views. We don't get to talk too much but whenever we do, it's always worthy and best.

"A bit nervous. What if Varun gets angry?"

"Come on, Why would he get angry? Plus, you are not here to meet him." He answered. he was right, why would he get angry? Also I'm not here to meet him. Should I ignore him to see how he reacts? No, I don't want to dig my own grave. I guess I will be civil.

"Alright. Bye." I smiled and went inside. I was about to ask the receptionist but before that she asked me a question,

"You are Varun sir's Wife right?"

wow, I wasn't expecting that.

"Yeah."

"I saw your wedding pictures. Hi, I'm Snehal." She introduced herself extending her hand for a handshake.

"Misha. Nice to meet you."

I then told her about the meeting with Aarav, she made me to sit comfortably on the couch and went to make a call. As I sat there I wondered where she must have seen the pictures, Varun for sure hasn't posted any. Maybe other people here.

"He will be here in two minutes." She said as she came towards me. always a gentleman!

"Ok." I replied and soon saw Aarav coming towards me. I smiled at him which he never returned.

"Yes, what do you want?" He asked keeping a straight face. really man? I glared at him and before I could reply he apologized and took me with him.

"I was joking."

"Shut up. I'm not talking to you." I replied as we both entered the lift.

"Come on, I said I was joking. Also I have a good news for you, so I thought of having little fun before dropping that."

"What news?" I asked excitedly. I'm a very impatient person and now that he said it's a good news, I definitely can't wait to hear it.

"Patience is the key to happiness." He replied making me angry. why does he always have to tease me?

"By the way, That's Varun's cabin." He said as we stepped out of lift. I looked towards the direction he pointed and saw a closed door. Is he inside? what must be he doing there?

"Is he there?" I asked hoping that Aarav will answer but he ignored it, he took me to the other side where his cabin was located. As we went outside his cabin he smiled and told me to enter first. The smile clearly said that he was in mood for some fun.

"What are you planning to do?" I asked stepping back. As far as I have got to know him, I realized that he is very unpredictable.

"Don't you like surprises?"

"Who doesn't but..." He cut of my sentence and made enter first. As soon as I stepped inside I saw the love of my life looking at me but there wasn't any shock on his face, it was me who was shocked to see him there. What is he doing here? Aarav must have made him to sit here. Did he knew that I was coming here? Of course, he would have ran away if he was aware.

"Hey." I greeted.

"Hi." Varun greeted back giving me yet another shock as if I was not already shocked to see him there. what next?

"Actually.." Aarav was going to say something but stopped when his phone ranged.

"I need to receive it." He said making me glare at him. He very well knows that situation will be very awkward if I stay in same room with Varun and still he is leaving us alone.

"What? I'm actually getting a call." He said showing his phone to me. I looked at it and saw the name 'Spoiled brat' flashing on his mobile screen. spoiled brat? Oh yeah, his sister. I remember he once said that he always calls her by that name.

"Ok." I said as he went out. I stood on my place not knowing what to do next. Varun was so engrossed on his laptop screen that he was definitely not going to notice me again. Why is my life like this? My own husband is sitting here in this room just a few inches away from me and yet I have to stand here like a clown.

"You can sit here if you want." Varun pointing towards the chair beside him but eyes were still focused on the screen. varun told me to sit beside him? that's too much to take man.

I was going to sit there but I heard the door knock and Aarav entered with his sister, Aananya. He then told me that it was not him but his sister who needs my help. As I talked to her I came to know that she wants to open a play school. She even shared me her ideas about it and asked me to help her. Hearing her idea made me remember of the time when I was younger, I always wished to open a play school but was never focused on one single thing, until I started interior designing.

"Ok. I should leave now. Call me whenever you plan to visit the location." I said as I got up to leave. For having our conversation, Aananya took me to another room with her, so I wasn't aware of where Varun and Aarav were. Before going I wished to meet them both and so I went to Aarav's cabin first.

"Hey, I'm leaving." I said.

"Wait, I need to talk." He said as Aananya excused herself and went out.

"What is it?"

"You both are still not on talking terms?" He asked.

"When I went to receive the call, I thought you both would talk but the scene was completely opposite, why?" He asked again.

"I don't know why Aarav. I don't know anything. Whenever I talk to him, I feel like I'm forcing myself on him, even when he already said that I shouldn't accept anything from him."

"That's not how it works Misha. If you keep staying away from him, you both will be like this forever and I'm sure you don't want that to happen."

"Keep trying. At least talk to him, be friends, who knows things might change?" He said. He was basically encouraging me to make more efforts for which I was very scared.

"Ok. I will try." I said as he finished saying what he thought.

"How do you came here? I mean by your car?" He asked and I told him that I came with Dad.

"You always do things, exactly the way I want." He said happily. what is he going to do now?

"Want to go with Varun?" He asked, for a moment I got very excited but it faded soon.

"He won't like that." I said however he didn't listen to me. He took me with him outside Varun's cabin and told me to go inside and inform him that I'm leaving.

"Ok." I said and knocked his door, once he told me to come in, I went inside.

"I'm leaving." I said.

"How are you going to go?" He asked and before I could reply Aarav entered.

"I heard you are leaving." He asked looking at me. too much drama.

"Yes. It's late now." I replied, he then asked me the same question Varun asked.

"Maybe a cab." I replied.

"You didn't brought your car? No problem, Varun will also leave now, you both can go together, right varun?"

"I wouldn't have mind but I have some work to do, it will take time." Varun reasoned obviously because he don't want me to come with him.

"Oh alright. No problem. I will tell Viren, he will drop you, Let's go." Aarav said and I immediately heard a big and loud 'No'. It was Varun. We both looked at him for a explaination.

"I mean why to bother him? I will finish my work soon and then we can go." He replied.

"Are you sure you said it will take time? Viren will drop her, you don't worry." Aarav said again.

"I said I will finish it soon Aarav." Varun said sternly.

"Ok." Aarav replied to him, then winked at me and left. how does he even do that? Why so smart, always?

"I will wait outside." I said and went out of his cabin only to see Aarav standing there with a very proud and victorious smile on his face.

"Stop smiling."

"What? Why? Girl you should be happy too. Didn't you noticed that your dearest husband was not comfortable to send you with someone else?" He asked and then the reality hit me. man, I actually didn't thought about it.

"OH my god, yes. Sorry I didn't noticed it. But why?"

"Maybe the start of what you want." Aarav said making me think about it. He then excused himself as he had some work to do. While I waited for Varun to come, my mind stayed focused on why he didn't allow me to go with Viren however the another question to me was, who is Viren?

I waited for Varun and soon after fifteen minutes he came outside, together we went out of the office and while I stood there, he went to the parking area. My mind was not able to function properly, heart was beating at an unusual rate and legs felt so weak that I felt like I was going to fall and it was all because of Varun.

I was so busy in his thoughts that I didn't noticed the car came and stood beside me.

"Misha, let's go." He said bringing me back to the present. As I sat inside his car, I felt like asking him so many questions, I wished to talk with him but I had no confidence to do that. I was very nervous. I kept looking at him, trying to form a sentence to start however nothing helped. I don't know why sometimes I find it so difficult to talk to him.

After lot of efforts, I tried to start a conversation when I heard him speak to me,

"Do you want to say something?"
