Hold me Tight , never let me go....

Karen's pov

After few hours of rest I woke up by light kisses on my forehead.

"Good morning sleepy head".

"Good morning kristian" I mumbled snuggling more into him .

"Wake up now , or you are gonna loose the bet " he lightly hushed into my ear.

The minute after listening to this I was on my feet rushing towards bathroom to get ready. I heard his chuckle but I cannot loose.

I got ready did my morning business , only to realise I was the last one to wake up.

Goshh! Eric will be so pissed at me.

I got ready super fast and went outside to see everyone was packing their bags. Getting ready for the next part.

"Here, karen" my friend lilly gave me a sandwich and a cup of coffee.

"Why did you not wake me up, lills"?

" I was about to but your boyfriend stopped me " she said .

I squint my eyes at him. As soon as he saw me he winked.

He did this knowingly.
But atleast we could sleep  on him isnt it and trust me this was the best sleep we had in a while.

I couldnt agree more, my thoughts were pretty right.

I sat on the chair outside , had my little breakfast.

"How is your wound now ?"  Laura and Coutney came towards me .

"Its fine now , and the pain is subsiding too "
I felt fine , Ben's bandages and ointment worked like magic to be honest.

"You okay there champ" Ben was walking towards me .

" Yes, Thankyou Ben your ointment was a magic" i smiled at him.

"Its alright , be careful for the next part okay? " He said.

I noded. He seems nice .

After finishing up and packing all the necessary things. We all started the hike.
This time all of my friends were with me.

"Guys, I am okay you can run if you want too"!.

"No, I am gonna walk with you" laura said.

"These boys can run if they want I want us to enjoy these moments " lilly said.

" We already feel bad for leaving you behind and you got hurt, so we are not leaving your side and plus we have to click pics too for the gram." Courtney said.

" I am glad , thankyou you all"
I am happy that they were here with me . We all laughed while walking on the trail clicked several pictures.

This is the best time.

We all laughed and sang songs admists our trail. This is fun.

The path was long, we could see Ben , paxton in front of us.

And some of them were behind us.

I wonder if he had already reached.

Being in different teams has its perks. I wonder what if he wins .
I am little excited about this thought yet nervous at the same time .

What if we make out in the woods and you know he grab us by our waist against the tree and then he lightly stroke our face with his hands and then he kisses us passionately.

Then he take both of our legs against....

"Hey karen, tell us "?

"Huh?" Puzzled I questioned lilly. I was lost in my own dream world to even realise that it was almost dawn .

"Lets take a break , lets have something before it gets dark and we get stucked here thats what I was asking you, here have one. " lilly passed me a sandwich . We sat near a tree had our brunch .

"Its so peaceful, right here " courtney said .

We all sat together and looked at the sunset.

"Can we go now, we have to take care of you all! "Ben rushed.

"We are loosing you know "?
Paxton said while looking at us .

"So what ? The others are there to cover for us isnt it "? Laura said .

"Yeah , but I feel we should move, all of them are no where to be found . Even Nova so lets go " lilly rushed ..

Hearing her name made me came back in the reality. Shit. She was following Kristian. Gosh ! I have to go.
Seeing that panic written over my face laura said.

"Nothing will happen . Shush" laura calmed me down .
We statted our trail again. Foot to foot, helping and guiding eachother the journey wasnt so easy .
We all saw various insects and bugs , even one caught on courtney 's hair .
We all laughed while she struggled only to help her get rid of it.

Admist all these caos and laughter I somewhere forgot about how we are the last ones to reach there.

We saw the lights , saw the crowd and heared the caos .

" Hey look, finally we are here! " Ben exclaimed.

"Yeah, but why arent they cheering "? Lilly exclaimed.

"Yeah , I mean they should be happy and celebrating who won the trail isn't it "? Courtney questioned .

As we were approaching the crowd , they all were standing in a group.
I was so keen to find Kristian but admist this he was no where to be seen .

Why are they all standing in a crowd? and what is happening ?

"Why are they so quiet?" I questioned.

"Hey guys look we came!" Paxton shouted.

Upon hearing the shout everyone looked at us . All we saw was worry and tension written all over their faces.

"We have called the ambulance they are just coming " Eric came from the cottage.

"You all are here "! Archie said at the same time .

"What happened ?" I said that out loud.

We heard the ambulance from far away.

"Eric ? Is everything fine ? "Lilly asked .

"No, she got hurt " Eric said .

"Who"? Lilly asked.

He pointed towards the crowd. We all went in the crowd. And in the very middle we found out.

Nova was hurt, and she had herself in his arms.

What ??

Seeing this scenario my heart sank for a little bit. My gaze went to him and his friend sam helping nova to get up.

I looked at Nova she had her eyes closed my gaze searched for the injury and there I saw it.

"She got bitten by a snake" he replied.

My god.

How?

Within moments the ambulance got near and they were opening the catheter for her.
Kristian picked her up and layed her down on the catheter.

The doctor checked her pulse. He managed to give her some medication. They picked her up in the ambulance and as they were leaving .

"Lets go" Sam said .

They all packed her stuffs and well as theirs .
We already had our bags packed .

Our traveller was near. As soon as he came.
We hoped on.

He didnt even look  at me !.

All of them were in panic mode so we did not waste any time to get on the bus. Me and my friends were in the same bus and  I expected that he will be there as well.

But he wasn't.

" Here , lilly" Eric waved at lilly .
She went in and sat with him.

"Hey , lets sit karen" laura whispered .

Me laura and courtney were behind Eric and lilly.

We all saw Kristian, Archie and sam in the other bus leaving before us.

Why is he ignoring me ?

"Dont think about it too much" courtney whispered.

"Lets wait for a while okay"? Laura said .

I couldnt keep my calm. My eyes were teary. I know she got hurt and any one of us would be doing the same thing he did .
But I felt ignored.

Resting my head on Laura's shoulder I tried calming myself down .
We will be reaching hospital soon .
But the journey felt a lot longer.

I feared my own thoughts.

About him and her.
