Can you be my summer story?

The days went fast as the practice continues.

My group worked on their lines as there is only 1 week left.

And I was in the organising team doing the preparation well. But all these times I don't wanna admit it but I kind off missed him.

Due to the practice schedule we didn't had time to talk. But I could feel him looking at me every now and then.

We sneeked glances at each other. But not even once he made an effort to talk to me.
Maybe he is angry, but surely i didn't gave him any reason to be . Infact I should be the angry one.
Having a girlfriend and still flirting .

But it can be his nature too . He still thinks I'm his best friend'sister  so there is no confusion in his mind.

Hell maybe I'm the worked up one.

I saw him practice his last dialogue. And the ball dance begins.
Mr Darcy and Elizabeth dances together . They surely look good.

While dancing, our eyes met and I was shocked at first. We just looked at each other .

Why is he so damn frustrating ? It's been a week since we had talked .
He doesn't care does he ?

I excused myself and left the auditorium. I went out in the field.
Due to the practice sessions we had to be at University for extra hours .
It was also getting late.

"Hey , why are you out there "

I looked back.

And much to my surprise it was Kevin .

" Hey, I just wanted to come out for a bit ..you know air"
I waved my hands here and there . Damn I know he thinks I'm so stupid.

"Haha,  funny , I know all the play and backstage stuff is stressing you out maybe . " He said .

"Yeah , I mean no I mean kind off"
Again I did the hand think .

Atleast stop embarrasing yourself.

"I think maybe we ... he started to say

"What are you guys doing out here "
And the devil entered .

"Hey man ! Just wanted to see if she is alright " Kevin told Kristian.

"What Happened"?
He more like asked me .

As if you don't know

"Nothing I'm just tired " which wasn't complete a lie. These past days were hectic.

"Come , I'll take you home" he told me .

What? How about asking can I take you home? I'm not your baby sister so you don't need to babysit me.

Damn I wanted to shout .

No need to get worked up Karen, he wants a reaction don't give him one .

" No, I can go with Eric , thankyou" I politely declined him.

" Mind if I take you home ? " Kevin asked me .

Okay.. did he just asked me? What should I say! It would be rude but at the same time it would be strange .

"Umm , yy..."

"What are you guys doing here "?
Eric came to the rescue .

Thanks big brother .

"Nothing man !  She is feeling tired so I'm asking her if I can drop her home " Kevin said smoothly.

As the conversation was happening I could feel the hard stare that he was giving me.
I looked at him and I saw him pissed .

Great! Well done  now we are on the same page.

" Don't worry , Karen let's go home. The practice is over and everyone is going home too" Eric said

As he talked everyone started coming out of the university gate .

"Hey guys whatsup?"
Lilly asked as she came with Courtney and  Laura.
And behind them all the team members and the queen bee with her fellow leeches .

"We were just going home you guys wanna join"?
Eric asked.

"Sure ! I mean only if everyone agrees " Lilly said shyly .

Am I missing something .

During the practice sessions Lilly and Eric got close enough. They started hanging out and so is Archie and Courtney , Laura and Sam.

Everyone seems so happy and seeing them happy makes me one. Atleast they can be the happy ones in this imperfect world. 

" I wanna hang out with you guys" I softly told Laura .
It's been long enough and there are things that I wanted to talk about and catch up to all the stuff .

"Guys ? Maybe we can go to my house and hangout?" Laura came to the rescue.

"Heck yeah! It's been so long that we catched up . All these practice sessions are really tiring . " Courtney agreed .

"Eric, Sam, Kristian,chase and you guys .  Do you wanna join us ? Archie asked his team members .

Other than Eric Sam Kristian rest all declined the offer .

We went to Laura's place . I was with Laura, Courtney and Lilly and the rest guys were following us .

" It's been so long since we had the talk, guys I missed you so much." Laura sighed .

" I agreed laurs, it's been a pretty long time and I need to tell you all some things " Lilly was hell excited. 

"Okay guys, we are so gonna have the girly chat today. It's so much we are missing about each other and I'm damn excited about tonight" Courtney was excited .

"I know where you are hinting court" Laura was smirking .

"Oh shut up! As if you are not excited right ?" Courtney said.

" Damn, I still feel butterflies" Lilly was excited too.

" Yeah, girl agreed " all three of them had that goofy smile on their faces .

I felt happy while looking at all of them.

Wish I could say the same thing.

We reached her house and go straight to her room.

Girls night out finally.

"Okay guys spill the beans" I asked them.

"He makes me happy" Lilly was happy and excited .

"Guys one by one okay, you all will get your time don't worry"

"Damn! Eric is so hot and sweet he makes me happy. We started talking during the play and we got along well. I hope you don't mind Karen. I cannot help but adore him.
He sends me those cheesy text and I just melt right there . He is the sweetest " Lilly was smiling .

" I'm glad Lilly and I hope this remains " I was frankly excited for them.

"I agree with you Karen, I'm happy for you girl"

"And so am I "  Laura and Courtney said.

"Yeah, I want that too" lilly exclaimed .

"Now now court , spill the beans "

"Archie is so caring Laura . During the practice sessions, he helped me learn my dialogues and we used to talk at late nights for the dialogues. And he is a good person too . I'm still getting to know him. But as far as I know I like him" Courtney exclaimed.

"Someone has a goofy smile on " we all three laughed while court blushed.

"I too feel you court and I know how it feels to have those butterflies on when you talk to him. Sam is so cute he is so adoring, one day we hung out after our sessions and he told me.about his crazy adventures and that guy is so crazy and I feel everything about him drives me crazy " Laura spoke

"I'm so happy for you guys , I just wanna ship you all right now " i told them .

" Not so fast Karen , anything can change " Laura said.

" But maybe that change is for the good right "? I asked them.

"Maybe" all three of them agreed .

There was a knock on the door . Laura opened her room gate.

"Hey guys , come down for dinner . I'm sure you guys must be hungry".

" Yes, brother. We were just gonna come down."

"Guys, let's go for dinner" Laura told us.

We all went down and rest of the guys were already there. We all chated and ate.
But except me and him rest all we're having a good time .

Why does he keep giving me the stares.

After the dinner as we were going to our room to have the unfinished conversation.
He called my name. 

"Can I talk to you for a min"? He asked .

" Go have the Talk karen" Lilly was smirking and so we're my other friends .

"And don't worry about us " Courtney said as they were going towards there room.

We walked out of the mansion and I was so nervous .

Maybe it's time for the talk to happen.
