Next day I woke up and got ready for my University.
Strangely it started to feel so good to call it that way.
Maybe it's because of the friend circle I have or maybe it's because of the grey eyed guy.

Whatever maybe the reason , I guess it makes me happy what so ever ...

Yeah , what else can it be ..... It's probably the grey eyed guy or man .

Wanna kiss him ....

Wanna feel ....

Okay mind ! Give me some break..

Damn! My conscience is super opposite of me.

But for me I still  don't really believe in love.

Dear heart, last time was enough.

With these thoughts on I got ready.

As I was already running late I grab an apple and got out to catch my bus ..

Hopefully just please don't let me miss it.

I just got in time and thankfully I didn't miss it.

Damn, I totally forgot about Kristian.

As soon as I thought of him. My phone rang . And I didn't knew luck would be on my side .
It was him who was calling me .

"Hello"?

"Where are you"?

"I'm in the bus , why"?

"Why did you took the bus, we could have gone together "!

"I thought..... I .. I"

What should I say? That I didn't want to be seen with you cause you are damn popular. Not to forget that you have a girlfriend.
She would probably kill me if she knew about this .

" You don't have to be this shy Karen, we are Friends now. We are going to hang out anyway so why not be comfortable about it ?"

"What"?

Did he just friend zoned me ?

"Did you not hear a word I said"?

"Yeah, I did ..I'll ... I'll keep that in mind Kristian".

"Yeah,"

And we both went quite .

"So I'll see you in  college Karen"

"Yeah see you around".

Did I just got friend zoned .?
What else could I be ! We are just friends .

We are only friends Karen ..just don't think too much .

College came in no time. I saw my friends as usual waiting for me .

I went to my class as they went to their practice .

In the lunch break I didn't see Laura or court or Lilly .

They said they would be free for lunch so now where are they?

I went to check the auditorium and saw everyone practicing there.

Lilly waved as she saw me. And I saw everyone , the whole squad there. Even him with his girlfriend .

Ignore him Karen . He is not yours . You are just his friend. So don't think too much.

"Karen, would you like to help"?

"Huh"?

"We need people to work backstage for the arrangements. If you can coordinate with us it would be of great help" the head of the council asked me .

"Well, umm okay I'll do whatever I can "

"Great ,let's arrange the things we need for the play and you can call me Kevin"

"Alright, Kevin "

I arranged the chairs , dinning table for the first part. With the help of Kevin I did the lights and sound effects part .

"Karen, hold this piece tight. It shouldn't fall okay "? Kevin said

"Yeah, I'll try just it's quite heavy though"

"I'll be right back just wait for me "

I think it's slipping from my hands .

I tried to hold the piece but it was quite heavy.

Just 2 more mins I just....

"Hold tight " I hear Kevin shout .

The piece was just was about to slip from my hands .

"Gotcha "

I see him holding the piece with me.

Where did he came from?

We got the piece down from the roof of the auditorium to the base of it .

"Thanks for the help Man," Kevin said to Kristian .

"Yeah, it's okay. You okay Karen"?

"Yeah I'm fine "

"Karen, I need you to prepare a  schedule for the play .. will you do that"? Kevin asked .

"Yes I will prepare it right now and I'll bring that to you"

"Okay then , see ya later "
With that Kevin just walked off .

And left me alone with my dream guy .
I avoided eye contact with him at all cost. And as I tried to slip past him, he caught my hand.

"Why are you avoiding me "?

"Huh"?

"I asked you a question karen" .

"I am doing my work Kristian and I'm not avoiding you."

Even though he caught my hand I didn't dare to turn around .
I can't .

He makes my heart beat faster Everytime I'm near him. And then Everytime this heart breaks a little while seeing him with her ..

What is it that  she has  that I lack?

"I can feel you avoiding me "..

But can you feel that you are hurting me ?

I so wanted to say that to him. He can feel me avoiding . Is it even true ? Then how can he not feel the hurt I feel Everytime I see them together.

"I need to go Kristian , I got loads of work to do"

He loosened his grip and I slipped my hand out of his hold . I walked off . And he didn't even stop me.

Can't you just stop me ?

I wanted to scream at him for doing this.  Why do you make me want you one time and hate you the next minute.

But you only have to understand he is being friendly and there is nothing more he thinks of you.
As his best friends little sister. Maybe even his little sister but nothing more than friends.

Damn, I need to get myself together or else I'll surely loose it .
Avoiding cannot be forever and I cannot continue it .
Maybe if I try to keep myself busy he won't even disturb me .
Maybe if I try to stick next to Kevin and my work he won't come near me .

I begin to prepare the schedule for the rehearsals .
Maybe if I can tighten his schedule he won't even have any time to see me .

Why did I not think about this !  He will surely be busy . Busy enough to forget me.

I made sure to repeat his rehearsals with his damsel in distress .
They surely need more time.
And Gave the list to Kevin. He checked that and gave me the approval.

Surely the main leads need more time to rehearse right ?

I did the photocopies of it and gave to all the members of the play .

My work was done for today.  And there were no more classes .

Lucky me !

While walking out of the auditorium I looked back once to see everyone practicing and rehearsing .
And in between them was my grey eyed guy looking with fierce , stormy eyes .

I looked back with the same intensity.

Well , I guess I did piss him off.
But who cares , he doesn't for sure !

Lastly he gave me the knowing look as if he knows what's on my mind and why I did that.
As if he can read me. As if he can read my mind. As if he knows what I am upto and what my next move will be .
He gave me the look as if he accepted that challenge.  And he knows he is gonna win it at any cost.

Will I really let him win?
