Drevin and Dimitri were brothers since they were born. They were in fact twins but haven't seen each other face to face since they were in their early teens. They got separated when a storm was among them when they were 14 years old. Dimitri moved here at the age of 20 and Drevin moved here at the age of 19. They were both inconspicuous of the fact that they were living in the same place for some time. 

They were twins but if you put them side by side, they don't act in the same way. Drevin and Dimitri were very different from each other but now that they found each other, nothing could tear them apart again.

*Drevin's POV* 

"It's nice to see you again, brother. I haven't seen you since we both were teenagers. Does Naomi know we are brothers?" I asked as I stepped back from our hug and looked him in the eyes.

"No, brother, she doesn't know yet, but I have a feeling she will find out soon enough," Dimitri said.

"The only way she could possibly know is if she is eavesdropping on us or if one of us tells her," I said.

I initiated to walk from Naomi's room to my room and my brother started to follow me. I wondered why he was here, but candidly, I was too afraid to ask him. I knew it had to be about Naomi and I knew he was her husband or boyfriend but I didn't want to find out that she was in some kind of trouble that I couldn't get her out of. I knew somewhere in my gut that she somehow needed my security, but what I needed to know was from what.

What exactly were they running from? 

This question was going to stick in my head for who knows how many days or months or years. Was it a monster? No that's impossible, monsters don't exist. Was it bad men looking to hurt someone for no reason? I have no clue. Who would want to hurt a girl like Naomi? Everyone loved her. 

1. I'm in love with Naomi Knight.

2. I was afraid of losing her to these 'bad guys'.

3. It was good to reunite with my brother Dimitri again.

4. I would die for this girl.

5. I haven't stopped thinking about Naomi Knight since the last time we were together.

These things were positively right. I never want to lose this girl, I was and am too in love with her to let anyone have their way with her, to kill her or to harm her in whatever way that they could. I knew there are bad people in the world and that they hurt anyone for their own entertainment. If I was a police officer, I would lock them all up and be done with it and then they couldn't hurt anyone ever again.

Dimitri put his hand on my shoulder and turned me around so fast that I nearly got dizzy and almost fell over. I sat on the bed in hopes that the dizziness would pass but it stayed for a few minutes. After a few minutes, the dizziness seemed to pass quickly. I looked up at my brother that seemed to look at me with a pain deep inside him. 

"Baby brother, of course, I will protect Naomi for you," I said.

My brother looked me in the eyes and nodded in relief. Of course, I would protect Naomi, I loved her more than anyone could ever imagine. I knew I would protect her with my life.
