A Year Later

Shrey was alseep peacefully when a splash of water landed on him making him jerk awake and fall off the bed.

"What the....What was that for?" He asked as Mahi stood infront of him giggling in a white kurta and salwar and then it hit him.

"Holi hai!!" Mahi exclaimed and ran down as he changed quickly and ran after her.

Mahi yelped as he ran behind her, its been a week since their marriage and their life seems perfect.

Just as he stepped off the last stair to full plated of red colour were emptied on him. He stood in shock as the trio hi fived each other.

"I swear I...." He stopped mid sentence as someone threw colour on the trio but Mahi got away just in time.

Shrey stepped out only to get hit by water, again but this time he didn't mind. Time he has some fun to. He walked towards Mahi with colour in his fists and smuged her face completely.

While the celebration both Mahi and Shrey was each other around a guy and a girl repectively at least once and drank what Meera told them not to, Bhang.

After the celebration Mahi threw herself on the bed, the drink still had its effect but at least now she knows what she is doing. She giggled feeling a weight on her and opened her eyes to find Shrey lying over her.

"Get up Mr, your heavy" She said and he rolled on the space beside her with a pout. Without thinking she leant forward and kissed the pout.

Shret pulled her closer and hmed in the kiss, finally he got the life he wanted, a happy normal life with family all because Mahi was not scared of him that day.

"I love you" She said pulling away

"I love you too, princess" He said kissed her forehead.
