Flashback

"Ajeeb lagega sawal lekin mein ye jaana chaahti hun ki kya Karan aapka beta hai?" Mahi asked.

"Haan Karan mera hi beta hai" Meera snapped and sat down on the couch. She had tears in her eyes which she tried to hide away but failed.

"Dekhiye, mein nahi jaanti ki kahani kya hai? Lekin....lekin Karan mein mene kisi ese insaan ke signs dekhe hain jise keval mein nahi aur bhi log pyaar karte hain. Please mujhe sach batadijiye" Mahi pleaded caressing Meera's hand trying to tame her emmotions with her powers.

"Karan mera beta hai..." Meera began Mahi went to say something but Meera's next words cut her off.

"Lekin ye ladka mera Karan nahi hai" She finished as tears dropped down her eyes. Mahi was overpowered with relief, he is Shrey, her Shrey.

"Mera Karan mere jigar ka tukda tha aur hamesha rahega. Star Labs mein kaam kiya karta tha aur wahin ek lab accindent mein isne apni jaan gavan di" Meera said running a hand on the frame she held.

"Baad mein hame pata chal ki wo lab accident mein nahi mara balki uska murder
kiya gaya tha" Krishna added.

"Par kyun?" Mahi asked

"Usne wahan kisi ko dekha tha, dara hua koi jise wo bachana chaahta tha lekin ye baat Nakul ko pata chal gayi aur usne...."

"Isi baat to lekar hum unse baat karne gaaye the jab hume wo ladka mila, apni powers use karke mene use thik kiya. Lekin shayad Karan ke khayal man mein honese wo bilkul wesa ho gaya jesa mera Karan tha aur mene bhi maan liya ki wahi mera Karan hai" Meera concluded.

"Mein aapse waada karti hun Karan ke kaatilon ko zinda nahi chhodungi, uski wajh se mera pyaar zinda hai, uska ye karz mein to chaah ke bhi utarpaungi"

End Of Flashback

Mahi jumped in the water without a single thought. Shrey looked at her with pleading look, his lungs have started aching due to holding his breathe.

As soon as Mahi touched him his memories came back which made him let go his brethe unknowingly. Mahi cupped his face as his eyes started dropping and slammed their lips together, providing him with the required oxygen.

She managed to pull him up when, he coughed up as Mahi opened his restrains and rubbed his back.

"I missed you princess" He said softly making her tackle him in a hug. Oh, how much she has missed him.

She cried softly in his embrace as he let her warm sink in. He missed her too, he remembers his heart shattering when he was pushed off the cliff and her expressions were no different.

She helped him up on his feet and both of them went to her room. She locked the door after helpng him in and casted a protection spell.

"You should change" She said handing him some of his clothes she kept with her as a memory.

He settled down on the bed after changing, rubbing his hands together, his body is still cold. He smiled as Mahi also joined him, her warmth providing him comfort like always.

He caressed her hair softly its while his eyes turned red, its time for the final showdown. Every person who caused them pain will now see why is he actually called a monster.
