Minju's POV

The day of the festival has come! Students from different schools are expected to attend!

Yeesss I'm excited to meet students from the three seasons!

"Minju! Let's set these up already!The opening program might end in a few minutes!" Yuri exclaimed while arranging some of the brownies and cookies that we made. Some foods were made by Chaewon's Mom since we're all tired that time. We spent almost four hours and wasted too much ingredients just to make the correct recipe.

I nodded and helped her with the arrangement. We built our booth in the plaza together with the other booths. Everyone is busy with their own stuffs.

"*yawn* It's too early and I'm still tired arrghh" Chaewon appeared infront if me while stretching her arms, looking sleepy.

"Rest for a while Chaewon, we'll need your strength later" I advised, she really do looks tired.

She smiled and sat on the bench inside our booth. Poor Chaewon, she must've been stressed out because of these.

A tall girl carrying a backpack went to  our booth. "Ahh I'm tired, you two can do that. Aja aja fighting" Wonyoung cheered us boredly. This kid!

Yujin is the only one who's not around, where is she?

Yujin's POV

Dang it, that baking time last night almost beat the crap out of me. My whole body is tired as hell.

I can't even sit comfortably in this branch. For a moment,  I want to relax my body in here just by looking at the students who are getting theirselves busy.

They're probably thinking about their grades' sake. Fxck that thought. If you'll have a huge influence then you won't need that sacrifice just to get a good grade.

*Bzzzt bzzzt

From: Kim Chaewon
     Where are you? Are you going to skip this time again? Remember Yujin, we're being monitored by them.

Chaewon texted. Dxmn,  why won't they leave us alone?! That old man's making sure that we'll not do something stupid again. Psh he's even more- - -

Fxck! Is that Xyrene with her pathetic servants? What are they doing he - - - I almost forgot, they're invited to visit in here but we're not welcoming brats from the other seasons. That man really sucks! 

Students from other seasons are attending the boring opening program for the said festival. Tch,  it'll take eternity for it to be finished. Speakers in here give speeches for almost an hour.

I breathed heavily and focused my gaze on our booth located a few meters away from this tree. They're busy- - even that transferee is busy. They doesn't look tired.

*yawn* fxck, my eyes are almost closing. Jeez I have to help the trans- - - I m-mean t- the group. Yeah, that freaking group.

Minju's POV

The opening has already ended and the visitors are heading their way on each of the booths.

We're done arranging our products but I think I forgot something. Ahh! The candies! Aside from the cookies and brownies,  we decided to put up some sweets in our booth.

"Yul" I called Yuri. I need to excuse myself first. "Yep?" she answered, putting some designs inside the booth.
"I'll go get the candies" she nodded, still arranging some interior designs.

"Wait Min!" I looked back at her after hearing my name. "Find Yujin too. We need her because of her popularity, you know" she smiled. Is there a meaning behind that smile? Yuri's being creepy these days and I doubt that Wonyoung's influencing here.

W- wait. Did she just tell me to f-find Yujin?!

Uhh?

W- why w-would I do that?!

"Ah Minju! You gotta go, time's running out!" Yuri said again.

She should just tell Wonyoung and Chaewon though. Ahh w-why am I freaking out?!

Anyways, visitors are getting nearer and nearer. I have to do this fast!

I run as fast as I can towards our classroom. I'm bumping some students in their shoulder accidentally and I have to stop just to apologize. Fudge it's too crowded!

After a few minutes of running,  I already reached our classroom. I went to my chair and got the bag full of candies. Ahh I have to run again!

I ran my way in the plaza and because of my clumsiness,  I bumped into someone.

I fell on the ground together with the candies. Good thing it's sealed tightly.
I composed myself and stood up,  ready to apologize to the person whom I bumped into.

I bowed my head "I'm s-sorry. I didn't mean it,  it's just that I need to be fast for th - -

I was cut off with my words with a sudden grab on my collar. Sheez,  i-it's too t-tight,  I c- can't breathe. 

"Do you have eyes dearest winter student? or should I gave you some knock on the face so that you'll know who are you bumping into?" she's still holding my collar. They're a group of three girls and their faces are a bit familiar. I remembered that they're the ones who ordered me to give the black letter to Yujin at the restaurant last time!

"I- I'm s-sorr- - -

"Ohh,  pathetic creature tsk tsk tsk" a girl from behind her said, she grab my hair fast. I think my hair will fall off because of this.  Ahh it hurts!

We're standing in the plaza, quite far from the booths we're all of the visitors are. No one's paying their attention at us and I know that I'm unlucky this time.

"Let me knock you with this" she suddenly slapped my left cheek. It was a strong slap that I even felt as if my head was tear off from my neck.

My cheek felt numb as they pushed me towards the ground, letting me fell once again.

I- it's just an accident and I didn't b-bumped at them that hard but why are they doing this thing?! T-this is too much!

"You don't know us, do you?" the other girl from the left said. I looked at the logos in their ties while holding my still numb cheek. Yuri did tell me about each season's symbol and this one,  it speaks summer.

"S- summer" I murmured,  not moving from where I am.

"Yes and for the information of a fxcking idiot like you, we're XCS.  The highest rank in our school" the girl in the middle said. X-XCS? So,  they're like YCyoung but from different season? Ohgod,  I'm getting scared by now. They're someone I shouldn't meddle with. Dang this stupidity!

"Why won't you talk? I'm getting full of you" the girl in the middle said pulling me up by grabbing my collar again.

I a-already apologized, what do they want from me? I-it really chokes me....

They're just laughing at my face. Students from here already stopped bullying me but I didn't expect that I'll receive this kind of treatment again. This time, from another season.

She was about to hit me again but a voice suddenly barge in.  "Try to lay your fxcking hand on her Xyrene and you'll fxcking regret your whole existence" I felt relieved after hearing her voice. I don't know but it gives me the feeling as if I'll be safe.

The girl she called Xyrene, removed her hands from my now ruined collar. They walked towards Yujin who's standing behind me. T-they might ran into a fight. Oh no,  p-please d-don't.

"You're really brave my dear cousin. Don't you know that we're just playing with her? and for your information,  I can do it whenever I want to. This is my hand though" Xyrene smirked while talking with Yujin. I'm not shocked that they're cousins.

Yujin and I made an eyecontact. I can't explain what's going on in her mind right now just by looking at her blank expression.

"and this is my school" Yujin replied to Xyrene.  The three of them went silent. "I can do whatever and whenever I want to. This is my territory and in here?  I can fxcking kill the three of you without hesitation" she continued. She's seriously giving me goosebumps.

The three of them just laughed, leaving us behind. I can still feel the numbness in my check.

Yujin went near me,  having a mood different from her mood earlier.  "Dxmn those trio. Are you ok- - -
F-fxck you're really stupid. Just look at your face you idiot transferee tch" Yujin said, looking away. I already received a slap yet she's saying words that hurts even more.

"Even if you're calling me these kind of insults, still, thank you. T-thank you f-for saving me" this is the only thing that I can do to express my gratitude towards her.

She met my eye making me panic. She put her hand above my head and ruined my hair slightly "J-just don't let others hurt you. I'm the only one who h-have the right to b-bully you and it's my rule, remember t-that transferee" after saying those, she left me dumbfounded. 

I know that it's wrong but why do I feel happy about her w-words? W-why are you doing this Yujin?
