Minju's POV

"What the fxck" Yujin cursed beyond her breath. She's beating the eggs and....  the shells are included in it. Pfft she looks pissed.

"This is very hard!" Wonyoung exclaimed, preparing the flour that'll be use for the brownies. Her face is covered with flour haha it's kinda cute.

After Chaewon's mom taught us the recipes, she left us in here, making up with ourselves if we can ever achieve such great brownies that we expected.

"Ahh why is this so hard?! I can't even mix this one right!" Chaewon said, mixing the cocoa powder and flour.

What are they doing?!

"I think we're not doing it right" Yuri exclaimed. Yeah, they're not doing it right. Sheez, why am I dealing with these four kids who doesn't have any experience in cooking?!

"Dxmn! Just do it yourselves" Yujin walked away from the eggs. She walked near the refrigerator, searching for something to munch with.

She's giving up easily. Why won't they do such simple things?

"You're not beating the eggs right Yujin" I picked up the big shells that were included in the bowl.

"Should I fxcking punch it? Kick it?" she replied, eating a cake from the refrigerator.

That's not what I meant -_-

"Ahh, listen to me first. No! stop mixing that one Chaewon. Wonyoung stop playing with the flour! Yuri stop eating the chocolates!" Ohgod why did you paired me up with these kids. What should I do? ╥﹏╥

" Here, let me recall the things that Chaewon's mother had said. She told us to get the ingredients first. The flour, egg, vanilla, chocolate, sugar , cocoa powder and the butter" I pointed every words in the walk-in white board infront of us. They all gathered at my back.

" Instructions: Preheat the oven to 350°F. Line an 8x8-inch pan with parchment paper or aluminum foil, leaving a 1-inch overhang on all sides. Spray lightly with nonstick spray and set aside. In a medium heatproof bowl set over a pot of barely simmering water, melt the chocolate and butter, stirring constantly until the mixture is smooth. You can also microwave in 30-second intervals, stirring between each one "

"Whisk in the sugar while the chocolate is still hot and set aside to cool slightly. Add the eggs, egg yolk, and vanilla. Whisk until the batter looks smooth and shiny, about 1 minute.Add the flour, cocoa powder, and salt. Use a silicone spatula to fold until no visible streaks of flour remain. Cool on a wire rack to room temperature, about 2 hours, then remove from the pan and cut into squares" I read the things written in the board. It was quite long and I knew that the human beings behind me are bored, just looking at their faces -,-

" Okay, let's melt the chocolate first!" I heated the pan and took the remaining chocolates from Yuri. She ate almost half of it!

I put the chocolate in the pan. Out of curiosity, the four of them went near giving no more space to move.

"Can I kindly excuse myself? I can't move with the space you're all providing" I turned off the stove before the chocolate burns. They moved a bit, peeking on with the thing that I'm doing.

I mixed the sugar with it and set it aside. I took the eggs and mixed it with the vanilla, flour and cocoa powder. I put the mixture on top of the melted chocolate with sugar and put it inside the oven. We'll be waiting for about 20 minutes until it will be fully baked.

All they do is to stare at it. I can't blame them, they came from a rich family so they're not familiar with these things.

"I thought it was hard but it isn't. So listen up! We're going to bake our own muffins okay? Timer starts now" Chaewon immediately took a pack of chocolates from the refrigerator and went to the pan. Everyone participated with a smile in their faces.

"This is a child's thing but I think it'll be fun" Yujin beat the eggs first and as usual, with shells included.

I went near to her and demonstrated the proper way of beating an egg. "First, crack its shell open like how you used to crack some heads out there. Next, open it and let the yolks inside, pour" I can sense that she's listening.

A burning smell suddenly arose. It came from Chaewon's melted chocolate!

"Oh sheet- - -

She panickly turned the stove off. The pan secretes smoke from the burned chocolates.

Oh no, we might die in here. I should've let them play instead of making these things. We can burn a house just because of these!

"Are you okay Chaewon? You should've open the fire in a low ignition so that it will not burn easily. It's okay, you can start again with a better one" I smiled and handled another pack of chocolates to her again. She opened it and put it in a pan.

"Is this right?" she pointed the pan with the chocolate melting in it. I turned the stove off and nodded at her.

"Way to go miss Kim" I said before walking beside Wonyoung and Yuri who's playing with the flour. We can't finish this one if they'll keep on playing. Their clothes are all messed up because of the flour.

"I'll be your judge for the baking skills first. The taste might kill someone so I'd rather taste it before Chaewon's Mom" I sat in the chair available near the edge of the mini - bar counter.

They look exhausted .

Tomorrow's the festival and I can't bear to fail my grade again. We need to pass the subject or else, I'll say goodbye to my scholarship.

Chaewon's POV

I haven't encountered this kind of session in my entire life. I'd never had the chance to cook nor bake since my Mom doesn't want me to but now? I'm doing it! All thanks to Minju.

After a couple of minutes, I put my brownies in the oven. Minju's brownies are already finished so we need to taste it as an evaluation.

Yujin put her brownies in the oven. After which, she leaned on to the bar counter. To be honest, I'd never seen Yujin interested on a thing especially when it comes to baking or cooking foods. She knows how to eat but she doesn't know how to cook.

"I'm going to give up. Ahh I'm tired, I need....... I n-need food!" Wonyoung said, playing an aegyo infront of us.

Dang this kid, I must admit that she's cute though. I'm impressed with her aegyo skills but with their baking skill? I'm not impressed hahaha. I think like a chef though hmm, looks like I'll be having a chef career someday.

"Transferee" I heard Yujin muttered. Minju looked up to her with a questioning face.

At first, we thought that if there's a transferee, we must bully them so that they'll transfer into another school again but in Minju's case, she's the only one who tried to fight with us. I never expected her to do such a thing since she really looks angelic and fragile. She looks so soft and weak outside.

I never had the chance to be interested unto someone else until Minju came. She's really nice that I even planned to stop bullying someone new. She's someone that I want to know, curiosity is filling my whole system up. I want to know her, the real her.

"Where's the candies? Did you eat it?" Yujin exclaimed again. It's very unusual of her to talk nicely with someone  other than us.

"The lady asked it from me so I had to give it to her. Maybe it's in the living room" Minju answered. Maybe a maid asked that out from her.

I looked at Minju before getting my already baked brownies. What did you even do to make me feel interested on you?

Minju's POV

I didn't eat that candies. Why would I do that? Ahh she's suspecting me with it!

"We're already done Minju,you should start tasting it" Chaewon took her gloves and served the brownies infront.

I- is that a b- brownie? *gulp*

It's not brown as what I'm expecting it to be. I took a slice and slightly bit it just enough to have a glimpse of its taste.

*cough* i- it d-doesn't really taste t-that bad.

"How's it?" Chaewon smiled while asking. What should I tell her? I don't want to disappoint her.

"I-it's okay" I smiled while answering her. She nodded her head, monitoring the works of the others.

I looked at the work of Yuri and Wonyoung. It's a bit okay than Chaewon pfft.

Hmm this is tasty! "It's good!" they gave a high five with each other while giggling.

Next is Yujin. What th- - - it doesn't look like a brownie either!

I was about to get near her when she suddenly fed the brownie in my mouth.

"It's not that good and I know it. J-just e-eat it" She took another brownie and fed it to Chaewon, Wonyoung and Yuri.

The taste is quite good.

I never expected her to do that move, it was really sudden. The only thing that I knew is just because of that ..........

my heart skipped a beat.
