Minju's POV

After playing with the foods, we agreed to leave it the way it is. The teachers might scold us if we'll be caught. Insane idea but yeah,  it was fun!

It's getting late and I have to hurry if I want to go with them. It's already five and the meeting time is six,  one hour to go.

As soon as I arrived, I saw Mom cleaning in the living room.
"Mom, can I talk to you about something?" I'm going to ask her about the ideas that we have talked earlier.

"Min! You're already home! Hmm what is it? " she put the feather duster first before turning to me.

"We have a festival in the school Mom.Together with my groupmates, we should build up a booth that we choose. We planned it to be a homemade food booth and to make it successfully done, we're staying in our groupmate's house to learn and make those goods to be displayed for tomorrow's feast. Our grades are involved in here so would you like me to go wi- - -

"Hahaha there's no need to explain Min. I trust you, just make sure that you'll not gonna do something crazy okay?" she wiped the sweat in her forehead while showing her smile.

I really love my Mom. Thank God I have this kind of woman in my life. I went to her and hugged her tight. I know that it's hard for her to raise a child with only herself to lean on.

"Will you be okay by yourself Mom?" I'll not be rest assured that she'll be okay. She only have me by her side since the day we left that man.

"Of course I will! Just enjoy it Min but don't forget to take care of yourself" she smiled and hugged me back. It looks like I'm leaving for about a year just because of this haha.

"It's only for a night Mom! We're acting as if I'm about to leave you for a hundred years haha. Don't worry, we're all girls and they have nice bodies that can break someone's bones if needed" Speaking of it, I'm about to be late!

I carried my bag with a pair of shirt and jeans in it. "Bye Mom!" I hugged her again before running out of the door.

I texted Yuri first. She might be waiting in the meeting place right now.

To: Cutie Yurii
  Yul, where are you?

I continued to walk in the street. The sun's already setting and I bet that it's near six.

My phone buzzed. I took it from my pocket and immediately read the message.

From: Cutie Yurii
       I'm already here. Wonyoung's with me. Chaewon isn't here, she's picking up a car from their house and Yujin is nowhere to be found. Hurry up Min!

Oh? They're already there? I have to hurry!

I put my phone back to my pocket and started to run.I'm already late.

I continued to run across the street. Fudgee it! I'm late,  I'm late,  I'm lat - - -

Yujin's POV

Tss they're too slow. My time's already wasted because of that freaking booth but as usual I don't have any choice. Those teachers might report me to that old man again.

I decided to go for a walk first while waiting for Chaewon to arrive. That one is too slow when it comes to meeting.

Psh, that transferee is the same. Should I text her? Darn they're all so slow!

I went to a shop nearby to buy a food. I'm freaking hungry.

Tss, everything in here are candies.  Fxck I didn't read the 'sweets shop' signage outside.

*bzzzt bzzzt

From: Wonyoung
    Where are you? Can you buy some chips? I'll double the pay later. Please?

She's really into that finger foods. Psh how many times do we have to tell this kid that it isn't healthy? Dang it.

Since I'm already in this shop, I bought three bottles of gummies. These are a lot better than junkfoods.

After paying the costs, I went out of that store. Dxmn, I still need to cross this street -_-

Walking is way too hard. I'm going to knock Chaewon's head off, it's her fault. I should've go together with that turtlefeet so that we can already go by this time.

I heard a running footsteps from behind, it went pass by me and by the back view of that person, I can clearly sense that it's the transferee. Good thing she's freaking he- - -.  Of course that frog will be here!

She continued running towards the street. Fxck there's a car!

I immediately ran towards her and pulled her arm before she was hit by the upcoming car.

Minju's POV

A loud beeping sound was the last thing that I heard before someone pulled me from behind.

My heart is beating really fast because of the incident. Pre - occupied by what had happened, I didn't know that I'm still hugging the 'someone' who saved me from being hit. I almost died because of this stupidity.

"Fxck it! Do you want to die?! That was so freaking close idiot!" Y-yujin? The one who saved me is Yujin?!

I removed my arms from her. I'm totally embarassed because of the situation right now. Why would she do such a thing?

I can't look at her in the eyes. My heart is beating twice as fast as earlier. Ohgod Minju! Why are you so stupid?!

"Tss, you're not paying attention to your environment! That's the problem, you're paying attention to something more than yourself that you didn't even notice the things that are around you are cruel and dangerous. Dxmn it, you made me w- - -

She scolded me and I don't even know why. My tears started to fall. I can't calm myself from that incident. What if I was hit by that car? What would happen to my Mom? Who would take care of her?

Many questions are entering my mind. I know that I'm a bit overreacting because of it but what can I do? I'm just concerned with how my Mom will feel if that happened. She already lose a husband and she can't bear to lose a child anymore.

"Dang it, s- stop crying. I didn't mean to say that things - - - -

I hugged her tight. I don't care if she'll be angry. She doesn't know how I'm thankful right now.

"T-thank you Yujin" I said before removing my arms from her. She didn't respond so I looked up to see her reaction.

She's not looking, maybe she got angry.

"S-stop looking you frog! The next time that you think about killing yourself, just tell me and I'll gladly do it for you. Dang it" she exclaimed, handing me a piece of bag with bottles of gummies in it. She then started to walk away from me.

My heart is still racing right now. I can't still move on with the incident. I can't forget how I hugged her tight earlier, it was embarassing and I did something stupid infront of her again. Oh god Minju stop imagining already!

I gripped the plastic bag tight. I smiled while looking at Yujin's back who's now crossing the street.

'Of course Yujin, if the time comes that I won't need myself to be in here, I'll tell you about it by then. I know,  you'll do the thing in reverse to what you had just said. The world's cruel and dangerous,  and I hope that I have someone who'll protect me like the way you did earlier. '
