Yuri's POV

Calm down Yuri, calm down. She's your bestfriend. Hooo, calm down.

I breathed heavily trying to avoid my gaze in her. I'm now talking with my bestfriend, Yena.

"S- seriously, t-this is the first time that I c-confessed. I took a lot of courage j- just to approach you but I k-know, you w-won't feel the same" she bowed her head in disappointment.

I didn't expect that she's going to do this. For pete's sake! I don't know how to respond in this kind of situation.

I don't know what to say. I don't want to hurt her but I don't want to lose her. It's like, I'm torn in between.

"Is t-this some k-kind of a prank Y-yena? If yes, t-then it's not f-funny" why am I stuttering?! My heart's beating too fast, trying to escape this awkward situation.

"Ah h-aha haha haha. Y-yeah, I used to play j-jokes on you. D-don't take it s-seriously though, I'm j-just g-giving you a test...... yeah a t-test on how you're going to respond if someone will say this kind of words to you. I'm your bestfriend, that's my role" even though she's smiling, I can see sadness in her eyes. Maybe, she's just joking. She's Choi Yena haha.

"O-okay then. See you later! Just wait for me outside" I also smiled while waving my hand for a goodbye.

I hope it's just real Yena.

Yena's POV

*sigh*

I smiled............. fakely  and waved back at her as I walked back to our classroom. At last, I got the chance to confess. It's been a burden to me since I can't really stand her presence without me stuttering and staring at her like crazy.

I did it without thinking what would be her reaction. Ohgod Choi Yena, what have you done?! I hope our friendship will not be ruined. Darn this freaky heart. Good thing I invented a saving sentence for my stupidity.

I know this would happen, I know that she'll not be able to return this feelings. We've been friends since childhood...

Jo Yuri, even though I confessed for it like a joke, I hope you'll understand that it's the truth. Not some kind of prank, but the thing that's going on inside my heart.

Minju's POV

Students from my class are gathered together in front of the bulletin board, covering the whole area up.

I pulled Yuri as we force ourselves to insert towards the front. Jeez, tall people are in front so we better insert infront of them too, if we want to see the group-up thingy prepared by our teacher.

I hurriedly searched for my name in the paper that is pasted on the board. Students are grouped into five and there are exactly six groups in our class.

There! I found it! We're under group 3.

Hmm Kim Minju, Jo Yuri?

Yes! Yuri is with me!

Yuri smiled and gave me a high five after knowing that we'll be in the same group. I looked at the names of the other three.

Unexpectedly unlucky, names of YCyoung showed below our names, means that we're all in the same group.

One from them is already absurd, how about if its the three of them?!

Yuri tapped my back, she's acting as if she's consoling me from something that's unacceptable.

"Why does it have to be them?!" I whispered to her, giving slight tantrums about the results.

"We don't have any choice. We'll be dead by then, Min" Yuri answered pouting her lips.

I pinched her cheeks. She tapped my hand since I'm pinching her cheeks too hard. "Yeah, I don't want to be in the same group as them"

"So do I" someone from behind said. Just by hearing her words, it's definitely the person who I don't want to be with.

The students fade away after seeing her.

"Aigoo, too bad. We're already grouped tsk tsk tsk" she leaned on the wall while putting her arms together.

"It's really bad" I walked away from her, still pulling Yuri with me.

We went towards our classroom, the homeroom teacher is coming.

Everyone went quiet as soon as the teacher enters the room. "Have you already seen your groupings for the booth?"

"Yes sir" everyone answered unhappily. Maybe he paired us up according to the person who we don't want to be with.

"It's okay class. As long as you'll work together, I'll promise to give you the grade that I promised. Only if the result will be good. So for now, I'll let you have a short discussion about it" he said looking at us one by one.

"It's still a month to go sir! Why are we too early?" asked my classmate.

"Do you think you can finish it completely if you'll work with it a week before the festival? Sheez, I know every student's behavior" he laughed teasingly.

"Work with it already. I'll make a survey about your ideas later" he went out of the door.

We all sighed altogether. This is a hard task to do.

I looked at Yuri first, giving her a signal to come.

She went near me and sat in the chair which happened to be Yujin's.

"What s-shall we do? I'm a-afraid to approach them" Yuri asked worriedly.

"I'm going to ta- - -

"Heeeyy, you're planning without us?" Chaewon and Wonyoung pulled a chair and sat infront of us. Yuri moved her chair close to mine. She's really afraid of them.

"Kid, where's Yujin?" I heard Chaewon asked Wonyoung.

Wonyoung pointed her finger at the door. We all looked at the direction where she's pointing at. Yujin's just looking at us while leaning on the door.

She walked slowly towards us and slapped the head of my guy classmate who's sitting near us. She took the seat and pulled it, joining our discussion and forming a small circle.

"That was......

amazing!" Wonyoung clapped proudly. She gave Yujin a high five.

"Cool, Yushin" Chaewon also gave Yujin a high five.

They're insane.

"Too rude" I whispered, dropping my ballpen intently so that she'll not hear it.

I reached for my pen but a white shoe landed on it, stepping it and breaking it apart. I looked up to see who's the owner of that shoe.

She looked at me while smirking "Yeah, too rude"

I closed my eyes, holding my temper.

Oh god, she's annoying!
