Once I opened my eyes I realized that I was in the arms of my first love.

His arms were protectively and tightly wrapped around my waist as if he was afraid to lose me. The warmth of his body consumed mine like a blanket, it felt nothing more than natural and soothing to me.

My eyes went towards his angelic face, literally, he was shining like a god under the morning light. His light gray eyes were closed and his beautiful dark long lashes tickled his toned and glistening skin. I saw a small smile appearing on his face, which made my heart beat faster for him.

Was it bad that I took a mental picture of this sight?

I couldn't help it, he just took my breath away like it was nothing. A simple touch, brought tingles all over my body and all the warm feelings came above the surface. The longing for his love became bigger and bigger within seconds; all I wanted was him and nothing or nobody could ever compete with that.

"Morning Semmy.." He whispered soft yet low, opening his eyes to look at me.

You should've seen him, I swooned right on the spot for him.

"Hey, you're awake" I smiled, somehow finding the confidence to kiss his cheek.

Oh my potatoes, did I really just do that?!

"Hmm you can wake me up like that every day" He grinned cheekily.

"Oh hush" I smiled, happily staring at the fool.

My fool.

"What is it baby?" He asked sleepy.

Did you hear that? I think my inner fan girl was screaming out loud.

"This is the first time, waking up next to you as my lover" I smiled proud at him.

He wasn't my boyfriend yet, but I could deal with that. I was even surprised to have my first date with this wonderful boy.

"That's good cutie" The blood rushed to my cheeks when he kissed my nose in such a tender and soft way. "Did you have fun yesterday?" He asked right after.

"Of course I did, it was perfect River. Really, I couldn't imagine a better first date with anyone else. I was already happy that you were my date, I couldn't care less about what we were going to do. All I needed was you by my side" I told him in all honesty, snuggling closer to his chest and enjoying to be so close to him in this moment.

"That's good, I'm beyond happy to hear that. You are so important to me Sem, I need you to be happy no matter what" He hugged me closer to his chest as I closed my eyes, leaning further on his chest.

I like the little moments like these; they give me hope and happiness. Being close to someone gives you the loving strength that you need. You have to enjoy them until it's gone before you know it.

River had the power to either crush me or make me feel good with my heart in his hands, and I most definitely trusted him with that.

"What are we going to do today?" I asked.

"I wanna stay in with you, have you all to myself so let's cook something" He smirked a bit, probably thinking the same thing that I was thinking right now.

This is so not going to end well.

So remember when I said that cooking wouldn't end well?

Yeah.. Let's talk about that.

"The entire kitchen is full with flower and eggs!" River laughed out loud, practically crying.

I loved to see him laugh like that, honestly his voice and laugh was music to me. The birds chirped and danced along the wonderful sound. And I bet he put everyone else in a bubbly mood also.

"It's not my fault that you can't hold a bowl straight!" I giggled soft, shaking my head. "You are going to clean this up!"

"Oh but I'm not straight anyways, cause I like you, a lot" He whispered low, pulling me closer by my waist.

Dang cheeks.. He always knew how to get me.

"W-what.." I murmured, looking in his light gray eyes that came out much bright cause of the flower that's on his face.

"Kiss me.." He told me before he placed his soft lips onto mine.

A soft gasp left my mouth as the cherry flavor interrupted my mouth, making me want to taste so much more. Goosebumps rolled down my skin, creating an intense feeling of fireworks and electricity.

My hands went through his hair, playing with the dark strands. I could feel my heart skip a beat when he pulled my closer by my hips. Time stopped thinking and I was pretty sure that the world faded away around us.

I was in a daze when he let me go, the feelings he gave me were indescribably amazing.

"Nice try pretty boy, but you're still going to clean this up!" I smirked.

Oh I knew my best friend too well.

I laughed quite evil while I was walking towards my bathroom, hearing River groan.
