"So how does it feel, not to be a virgin anymore?' River asked out of nowhere without any shame.

"H-huh? Are you serious?!" I gasped and felt the blood rushing to my cheeks as flashbacks from that night came back at me.

Stupid damn cheeks. Always exposing me when I didn't to.

"Well yeah, I plucked your cherry after all" River smirked proudly, having these cheeky glints in his clear gray eyes.

"River Allen! I am warning you!" I squealed, covering my cheeks with my small hands.

"I'm just messing with you baby.." He laughed loud, kissing my cheek and wrapping his arms around my waist.

Currently we were sitting on my couch, watching tv while snuggling close to each other. We were finally on Christmas holiday so River and I had the opportunity to hang out some more with each other.

Once in a while River still hung out with a couple of his friends and I also still spoke to Jax or Everest whenever River and I were seeing each other too much.

Lately River and I noticed how stronger we were becoming together and how we always could fix everything as long as we were with one another. We barely had fights or arguments and when we did, we always tried to stop each other or we both apologized at the same time.

A smile crawled up my lips as I watched River from besides me, his crystal clear eyes shone with nothing but happiness and pure love. His messy hair fell slightly in front of his face which I carefully pushed away for him. The gorgeous boy was smiling down at me, stealing a small kiss from my lips.

From the very first moment we met, I knew it was him. I loved this boy for years, some years without even realising it. But that little glint, that little spark that I felt between us was a sign back then.

And now after all this time of thinking that River was straight and in love with Lucy, I still managed to get this boy for myself. He fell in love with me for who I was, maybe he fell even harder for me than he ever did for Lucy.

I managed to win.

"What are you thinking about baby?" River asked, hugging me and rubbing my back in soothing circles.

"You.." I smiled proud.

"Awe.. You keep zoning out you little boy" He said, snuggles closer to me.

"Because of you! You are just irresistable!" I giggled soft, kissing his cheek.

"You are a little flirt you know that!" He laughed soft, blushing slightly.

"Wow! Is the River Allen blushing now?" I laughed, winking at him.

"Shhh! I am not! Pff..' He shook his head, turning a bit away from me.

"You so are!" I laughed.

"What? No!"

"Yes"

"Yes. Oh damn it! I fell for your stupid trick!" River whined, shaking his head.

I laughed out loud at that, smiling at my silly boyfriend. How the tables have turned. He loved to tease me, now he can get it back.

The sports jock.

"You know.. I never thought you would end up being my boyfriend, I always thought I would date someone else later on" I told him.

"Honestly me neither, but I'm happy with how it all turned out" He admitted and kissed my temple. "I'm not ashamed of who I am and I have a strong feeling that nothing can ruin our friendship, not even this" He murmured confident.

"That's exactly how I feel! I think this only made things better and better for us.." I leaned against him, enjoying his warmth. "I see you in a different, but even better light. I always wanted this and I was afraid that my feelings would ruin everything between us. But in fact, it turned out for the better" I explained.

River leaned in and kissed my lips, slowly moving as he played with my hair.

When he broke the kiss, we sat in silence for a moment, leaning comfortably and holding each other warm.

"Semmy..?" River broke the silence.

"Yes Riv?"

"I want you to visit my parents, opening up about our relationship. I want them to know that you are my amazing boyfriend so I can show you off to everyone" He told me, holding my hand while I knew that I was blushing.

I couldn't be any prouder; just hearing that made my heart flutter.

"Of course, we can do that.. Your parents are great! So don't worry about that okay?" I smiled and kissed his lips, knowing his parents would accept us for the way we were as long as we were happy.

River Allen smiled back at me with twinkes in his eyes as he nodded, swaying me into the loving warmth his arms.
