Chris P.O.V

I was sort of shocked when Grey kissed me back, sitting up somehow, making me sit in his lap. He put his hand on my cheek softly, still kissing me.

When we parted, my eyes were slightly widened. Grey smiled at me and hugged me gently. I wrapped my arms around him as well and laid my head on his shoulder. Grey began to sing softly to me. I wasn't sure what it was, I'd never heard it before, but it sounded strangely familiar. His voice was soft and silky in my ear.. Then I remembered where I'd heard that song....

My mind flooded with images and I jolted away from Grey. I didn't register that it was a memory until it was at it's worst. I remembered the man's rough hands touching me in places no little girl should be touched. I remembered that song playing in the background... That was the song my father played every time someone new came to our house to rape me...

I felt tears running down my cheeks and I quickly moved back until I couldn't anymore, my back was against the wall. Grey stood up and worry was in his eyes, I saw Grey start to come toward me, then it was one of the men who had done those things to me. I felt a silent sob leave my throat and I sunk down on the wall, trying to push back further. I curled as tight as I could get and closed my eyes hard, I couldn't hear anything. When I finally heard something, it was Grey's voice, "Chris..? Chris?! Hey, it's just me, you're okay..." I looked up hesitantly to see Grey, his eyes showing nothing but concern for me. My bottom lip quivered slightly as the tears continued. I knew I was safe with Grey, so why was I doing this? This had never happened before and it was scaring a me quite a bit. 

Grey took me into his arms and I wrapped my arms around him tight, I buried my face in his shoulder and he held me tight, making me feel safe again. "Shhh... I've got you... I've got you..." I heard Grey mumble in my ear.

I felt safe... So why wouldn't the tears stop...?

Uh... So it's short, I know, I am sorry but I am having writers block for this story so there might not be long chapters very often. But I am NOT abandoning this story, even if it kills me!
