"Lily Evans you are my most favourite person ever!" Exclaimed James as he hugged her and lifted her. "Hey! I helped too!" Chimed in Remus. "Aw Remmy don't worry, you are my favourite!" Said Sirius as he put his arm around the other boy's shoulder which made Remus blush and turn red. "Merlin these two really need to sought this flirting thing out!" Muttered James in Lily's ear which made her laugh.

"So are we ready with the prank?" Asked Peter, uncomfortably. "Almost." Said James as he finally let go of Lily from his arms. "Just need to talk to the house elves."

"HAPPY BIRTHDAY PADFOOT!" Shouted James as he woke up the next. "Ugh let me sleep!" Grumbled Sirius. James pulled the blanket off Sirius, "C'mon you lazy ass, get up!" He said as continued trying to wake him up.

"Don't know about him but you definitely woke me up." Said Remus as he woke up, yawning. "Happy Birthday Pads, wake up!" Remus said. "Ugh fine fine, you'll pay back for this torcher!" Exclaimed Sirius, dramatically.

"Oh so when your precious Remmy wakes you up, you'll listen but not when I do!" Said James as he scowled. "Best friend over boyfriend Sirius c'mon!" Joked James which created a very awkward tension in the room. (Only Peter was completely unaware of it, still sleeping, it seemed as if only food or the Dark Lord himself could wake him up.)

"Um, I'll uh go shower and then see you uh yeah." Said Sirius awkwardly as James grinned at the reaction he had gotten from the both of them.

After they had all showered ( and recovered from James's joke) they went downstairs for breakfast and Sirius was greeted by a lot of Happy Birthdays. "I know it's your birthday Mr. Black but no you cannot shout that about Mr. Snape in the Great Hall!" Replied Professor McGonagall sternly to Sirius's question although you could see she was trying to hide a little smile.

"Happy Birthday Siri-poo." Said Lily and Sirius looked at her with an amused expression. "What? You call me Lily flower all the time!" Said Lily, grinning. "You've been dating James for like 2 minutes and he has already rubbed off on you!" Joked Sirius which made everyone laugh.

"Hey Marlene! Where is my birthday wish from you, did you forget my birthday!?" Said Sirius like the Drama Queen he was. "Ugh quit being so dramatic Blac- Sirius, I just got here!" Marlene said. The Marauders and the girls always tried not to use 'Black' when referring to Sirius because he had made it very clear he did not want to be associated with his family name.

"Still haven't wished me though." He said as he jokingly rolled his eyes at her. "Oh Merlin! What is wrong with you, how could I forget the very important day on which the most charming man to ever enter the halls of Hogwarts was born! Happy Birthday my darling Siri!" Yelled Marlene which led to a lot of people staring at them weirdly. "Now that is more like it, love." Said Sirius. You'd think that he would be embarrassed by people now whispering about them but no, he absolutely wasn't.

"So what's the plan for today?" Asked Alice as she too hugged him and wished him a very happy birthday. "Wait I thought you all were throwing a party for me?" Asked Sirius, suddenly serious which made all the four girls suddenly look at him in shock. "Oh um did we? yeah we uh we are." Marlene said awkwardly which made Sirius burst out laughing.

"Did not think you would fall for it." He said between his loud laughs. "Ha ha very funny!" Said Lily as she smacked him on the head though she now looked relieved. "No special pranks for today except the you know what, just hanging out with my boys!" He said as he put his arms around James and Remus who were sitting beside him, one on right and the other on left. All of then knew that the 'you know what' meant a prank but only Lily knew what it actually was.

"I am surprised I am saying this but I'm kind of excited about the prank." Confessed Mary. "Oh it's okay Mary, you're not the only one who recently revealed that they love our pranks." James said as he winked at Lily. "Never gonna hear the end of that, am I? Lily huffed in annoyance. "Oh love, never." James replied as he dipped his finger on the frosting of the cupcake and then put it on the tip of Lily's nose and on her cheeks.

"Oh you shouldn't have done that Potter!" Lily said as she took her glass of pumpkin juice and spilt a tiny portion James's hair. "NOT MY HAIR!" Shouted James.

"Oh a food fight is exactly what I needed today!" Said Sirius as he too put something on Marlene's face and that was the beginning of Food Fight, 1978 (and it obviously lead to detentions).

Sorry for not updating in a long time but I am back with a long chapter?

Took a little break from wattpad hope you all are safe and doing well! I'll be updating as regularly as possible! ( my finals are near ugh)
