~Senketsu's POV~

It was pretty hard for me to figure out what I was turned into. I looked up at the sky to see that it was raining. I looked down at the puddles of rainwater to see my reflection. "Whoa." I said to myself. I saw myself as a red and black furry wolf. I was transformed into a mutant myself!

"How is this even possible?" I said, then I remembered. "The ooze, what's it called again? Oh yeah, the mutagen must've made me like this. That's why I'm having trouble with my new body." I looked around.

"And I can see with both eyes too. I better get to the lair and find them." I said as I started to hide in the shadows, finding out how to work my new form.

*Later*

After I made it to the lair, it was dark which meant that everyone was sleeping. As I was going to Aqua's room, I heard a soft moan coming from the couch. I slowly made my way there and saw Aqua there. "Aqua. Are you awake?" I whispered to her.

I listened to her steady breathing while a few whimpers of sadness were released from her lips. It made me feel bad, of her thinking that I was gone. I slowly started to pick her up with my arms. As I was taking her to her room, I was thinking to myself that I was pretty lucky that my new body was adjusting to me very quickly. After I closed the door, I laid her down and tucked her in.

"Mmm..." she hummed in her sleep.

I sat on the edge of her bed and held her paws. "Aqua... Please open your eyes. It's me, Senketsu. Your boyfriend."

~Aqua's POV~

As I was asleep, I heard a voice telling me to wake up. I didn't really wanna wake up from my slumber since the one and only part of me has died in front of me. I felt a warm sensation at my paws that was holding me tight. I slowly started to open my eyes to see a red and black wolf with 2 different colored pupils. "Huh?!" I got startled. "Who are you?!"

"Aqua, it's me."

"Me who?"

"Me, Senketsu."

"There's no way you can be Senketsu! He's dead and I saw it!" I growled while taking out my katana.

"Aquamarine Lapis Lazuli Waters, it really is me. I'm your Senky, your Senky Senpai." the stranger gave me a smile.

"Hmm..." I narrowed my eyes at him. "Well... if you're Senketsu, you'll have to play '20 Questions' with me. Deal?"

"Deal." he chuckled.

*After '20 Questions' was over*

I gasped, know that the wolf in who I thought was a stranger was really Senky! I couldn't believe it after that game, but he was for real! "Senky! It really is you!" I said as I happily cried on him and hugged him.

"I'm so glad to be with you again once more." he said with a smile.

"I can't believe that you're a wolf like me. That mutagen must've made you like this."

"It must've."

"Are you okay though? Nothing hurts at all??" I asked him.

"Nothing at all. But, I am feeling pretty tired after a long night." he said with a yawn.

"Aww. My poor Senky. Don't worry, you can sleep in here with me."

"Really?"

"Yes. You've always been in my arms when you sleep with me." I smiled.

"But now you'll be in my arms." he said.

"Yes I will. Now come to bed."

Senky smiled as he made it into my bed and got all comfortable and cozy in my bed. After he was comfy enough, I laid down next to him. I sighed sweetly knowing that my love was back together with me.

"My love, come into my arms." he told me.

"Okay." I said as I got closer to him and felt him snake his arms around my body. "H-How's this?" I said with a slightly small blush on my cheeks.

"This feels nice." Senky churred and nuzzled into my neck. "You're very warm and furry."

"Weren't I always warm and furry?" I giggled.

"Now, always, and forever." he said with a yawn.

"Goodnight Senky." I kissed his cheek. "Sleep well."

"Goodnight Aqua." he answered back to me.

I smiled as I slowly started to fall back to sleep. As I was going into the dreamworld, Senketsu's heartbeat was making me fall into a deeper sleep. And I was really really glad that my Senky Senpai is home and into my arms once more.
