CHAPTER 1
CHAPTER 1
"Sanyu, where are you?" Piya shouted.
"Up, in my room. What happened?" She replied back.
Jumping up in stairs and climbing, Piya bounced in her room, only to find Sanyu resting on her bed, on her belly and typing off something rapidly on her laptop. Immediately Piya jumped on her back.
"Ouch! Get off me farsi" Sanyu said grumpily, pushing Piya off her. Piya led on her back, beside Sanyukta, while Sanyu turned to face her friend.
"So what got you go all panda on me? Pouncing and jumping?" She asked, questioning her friend's sudden joy.
Instead of replying, Piya laid there with her eyes closed. Getting no reply for next few minutes, Sanyukta elbowed her friend. Piya silently forwarded the newspaper in her hand. Sanyukta looked at her questioning and then opened the newspaper.
"Annual Authors Seminar organised by Tata Steel?" Sanyu asked.
"Yup. And guess who is coming today?" Piya said excitedly. Sanyu just popped an eyebrow up in question. Piya opened her Instagram account and shoved the cell in Sanyukta's face.
"Oh My God! Nicholas Sparks?" She screamed jumping up in her bed.
"Yup. And I have got the four VIP passes. So get ready we are going." Piya said bossily.
"Four? But Vidu and Aayu will never be interested in it? So why did you get four?" Sanyu asked and in return Piya just wiggled her eye-brows and winked at her.

"Just tell me again why are we here?" Arush asked.
"You are here because I asked you to. Now shut up and listen" Piya said slapping him on his shoulder.
"I never took you to be Nicholas Sparks type of girl?" Randhir said, looking amused at Sanyukta.
"There are many things that are still a secret." Sanyukta winked at her.
"So I take it that you are also sucker for romance. I'll keep that in mind Miss Agrawal, especially for our upcoming dating life." Randhir said, keeping his hand on her shoulder, getting comfortable on his seat. Sanyu turned to give him a look, because of his comment.
The confession that night had brought the two closer. Now Randhir knew that it was a reflex action for Sanyu to try and pull back from relations time to time. An action which was gift from her past. And he knew he needed to keep pushing her and never give-up on their relation. He knew there was little girl inside, scared of the world, and wounded and still bleeding due to the scars given by the society to her. He wanted to do everything in his power to protect that child, and bring a happiness in her life.
"'C'mon it's time for us to meet him" she said getting up and squeezing his arms in excitement. Today Randhir saw a new spark in her eyes, one he had never seen before.
"You were meant for Literature my love. I don't know why or because of whom you selected engineering. Hope you realise your real dream soon." He thought in his head, smiling at Sanyukta's happy face.
-----------*****----------
"Enough Sanyu how much will you stare at the book in your hand?" Arush said a bit irritated at her giddy face and outlook. "After all its just ink and paper" he said.
"Oh shut up will you" Sanyu responded.
"What has got my daughter so happy today?" Harsh greeted the four as they settled on the couch in Randhir's home.
"Papa! See this" Sanyu said shifting to go and sit beside Harsh, showing him the autographed book, signed by Nicholas Sparks, himself.
"Oh my! An autograph haa?" Harsh said with equal excitement.
"Not just an autograph, but autograph of The Nicholas Sparks." She said in a cheery voice and with a dreamy eyes. Harsh made a confused face. "Oh let me tell you...." She said seeing his expression.
"Here we go again...." Piya face-palmed her head.
"You know what let's go to garden and discuss this. Some people are getting jealous here." Harsh said getting up, and they made their way to the gardens.
Randhir smiled looking at the bonding of his father and girlfriend. It had been a few months since Sanyukta had started developing a father-daughter relation with Harsh. He still remembered.
"Sanyu beta?" Sanyukta looked up to see Harsh standing infront of her, in her living room.
"Uncle? Namaste. Come and sit please." Sanyukta greeted him with politeness.
"Let me get you some snacks and tea" she said getting up.
"No I am not here for snacks, but I am here for you." Sanyukta looked quizzically at Harsh.
"Here take it." Harsh said forwarding a packet to her.
"Uncle this?" She said unsure of the packet.
"Take and open it." He said in a commanding voice, leaving no room for argument. Slowly she unpacked the gift in her hand.
"Uncle, this?" She was speechless on seeing the gift in her hand. It was silver pendent with pink stones, that spelled 'Lil' Star'.
"Happy Daughter's Day! I don't have any daughter of my own. You are my only daughter. Whether you and Randhir remain together in future or not, which i hope you do, remember one thing you will always be my daughter. A little shining star that came and enlightened my world. You may not see me as your father, yet, but I have taken you in as my daughter long time back. A small present from a father to his lovely child." Tears from Sanyukta's eyes were unstoppable that evening. Tears that washed away some reservations and gave way to acceptance. That night she gained her Father back. Even Renuka had taken a faughte-like liking to Sanyukta. Moreover, Anju, Renuka and Priti had became great almost best friends.
Everything was going fine and smooth in their life and Randhir hoped it remained like that. Now Agarwal and Shekhawats were one big family, including Vardhan. But you can never wish for calmness without inviting the storm.
-----------*****----------
"Vardhan, he is getting close. But we still don't have a clue where he is or what is he planning?" A tall man, said sitting infront of Vardhan and sipping his coffee.
"But we can't sit back and wait for him Abhay. We need information. I need information. I need to keep them protected." Vardhan said agitated and slammed his hand on the table.
"They are not only your responsibility, they are mine too. Even though I haven't seen them for years. I wish I could see her once." Abhay said saddly.
"Abhay, I think it's time for you to come out of hiding. Join F.I.T.E." Vardhan said.
Abhay looked confused at Vardhan's statement.
"Listen we can protect them better if we are together. Our plus point is he doesn't know about you, so no one will suspect you. You can join as my co-mate and mentor of Dream Team, Blue Pearls. You can help me train them better and also keep an eye on them." He suggested.
"Let me think about it. I need some time." Abhay said. Vardhan just nodded at his friend in understanding.
-----------*****----------
"Why are we not making a move now? When we know where they are?" Said the man, angry awaiting his revenge.
"Calm down son. You will get what you want. But we need to have patience. You know how they say that Patience is the key to success." The man in white kurta and pyjamas said.
"I seriously don't understand why are you waiting to get your right?" The old lady in off-white sari asked, agitation clear in her voice.
"Amma what you are asking me to do will be too easy. I want to do something grand. After all I am going to see my only daughter after a very long time." Smirked Kishore.
