Shakira's POV

I yawn and stretch out. My limbs hurting from being curled up on the couch all night.

"Morning Shay." Grandma says as I walk into the kitchen rubbing my eyes.

"Morning grandma." I reply.

I put four crumpets in the toaster and wait impatiently for them to finish.

"How was your first day in costume?" Grandma asks.

"Well, I already stopped a crime." I say.

"And your name?"

"Enchanting Magic."

"I like it."

We turn on the TV to the news and the reporter has the couple I saved last night on screen.

"Can you two explain what the new hero was wearing?" The reporter lady asks.

"She had thigh high black boots and her costumes colour was a teal like colour. Black designs were on it. Her mask... I can't even describe it." The girl says.

"So we're talking about a heroine! A girl super! We haven't had one in ages! What did she say her name was?" The reporter asks.

"Enchanting Magic." The boy says.

"Well, Enchanting Magic, if you're watching this right now, New York is in your debt! You saved the mayors daughter and her boyfriend! Thank you Magic!" The reporter says.

"Congratulations Shay!" Grandma exclaims hugging me.

"Thanks grandma." I smile.

"You should go out today and roam around."

"Okay." I put on my costume and I'm out the fire escape and to the roof.

I go along a few rooftops before looking down into the busy streets.

I'm amazed at how I'm not scared of heights in my costume! I watch a few men walk out of the bank, about thirty seconds later a woman runs out looking all panicked. I make my way down the fire escape and I walk onto the busy street and right to her.

"What's wrong ma'am?" I ask.

"Some men came into the bank, I didn't realize what they were doing until after they left! They stole tons of money!" The woman exclaims.

"I saw them. I'll do my best to get the money back for you." I say.

I start at a full out sprint, dodging people in my way. I spot the group of men and seemingly one woman on the other side of an intersection. The cars start streaking by though, no chance of me getting across... Or is there?

I run into the intersection and jump over the cars hoods skillfully as though I've done it millions of times before.

I run in front of the group and look at the.

"Haven't you men and... woman been naughty." I say. They stop and look at me.

"Watch out super wannabe." One of the men say.

I snort. "Wannabe? Give me the money now so I can return it and I'll let this crime go. Don't give me the money and you're all going to jail."

"Run!" The woman commands.

They split off in different directions, so I use my telepathy to go into each of their minds.

Stop. I command them. Each of them freeze, I feel their terror. Come back to me and no one gets hurt.

They all slowly walk back, shaking in fear.

"What are you doing?" The woman asks as they all stand in front of me once more scared out of their wits.

No, I didn't use mind control. I just simply scared them into coming back over here.

"Anyone have a rope?" I ask into the crowd that's gathered around me.

After a few seconds a rope is tossed at me.

I tie all the men up and I grab the woman's arms.

"Someone call the police please." I say into the crowd.

Soon enough sirens are heard coming in our direction. Three police cars stop in front of the scene and they come over to me.

"These men and this woman stole from the bank up the road. Search them for money and arrest them." I order the police.

The lot of them go and start searching the men and one of them takes the girl.

When he's not holding the girl to tight she sprints away. I roll my eyes and make the street light bend in front of her. She shrieks and hits the metal, falling over.

I put the light back how it should be and I walk over to the unconscious girl.

I sling her over my shoulder and walk to the police. I lay her on the ground before slowly walking away.

"Wait! What's your name?" One of the crowding people ask.

"Enchanting Magic." I say. Before disappearing from their sight into an alley and making my way up the fire escape.

I think going up and down the fire escape is my trademark thing.

"Magic stop stealing our saving times." I hear Selcouth whine as I watch the scene of the cops searching through the thieves from up above.

"Maybe you should be a little faster then." I retort, turning to look at him and surprise, surprise! Luminescent.

I glance back at the scene and the cops are putting everyone in a cop van that I didn't see approach.

I watch as the girl makes another run for it. I roll my eyes and make a metal bar from on the roof fly down and wrap around her arms and waist. Her handcuffed hands somehow got in front of her.

She screams in surprise. I laugh and call down.

"You can't escape silly."

A few people look up at me from the street, including some police officers. After a few seconds she's herded into the police van, so I focus on loosening the metal so they don't have too much trouble getting it off her.

"You seem so familiar." Luminescent says.

"What do you mean?" I ask nervously.

"I mean, I feel like I know your secret identity, I just can't quite out my finger on it." Luminescent says.

"I have no idea what you're talking about. My secret identity has never met Luminescent or Selcouth Entity for that matter." I lie smoothly. That seems to convince Luminescent because he shrugs it off.

"Any way, we were wondering if you'd join us." Luminescent says.

"Join you in what?" I ask.

"SCOPE, Saving Citizens of Planet Earth." Selcouth replies.

*A/N OMG IM SO PROUD OF MYSELF FOR MAKING SCOPE UP! You don't know my excitement...*

"So, like the movie Avengers, and we're the Avengers in SHIELD?" I ask.

"Uh, yeah." Selcouth nods.

"Who else is in our Avengers team?" I ask.

"We have Extreme Power and Fierce Shock. As well as Black Dream, Dynamite and Rock." Selcouth informs.

"Who are the last three, like, their powers?" I ask.

"Black Dream makes pure black vortexes that make it seem like you're in a dream if you go through them, it wears off though, he can also fly and he has super speed. Dynamite is like Nightmare, he shoots explosions and he can fly and has super strength. Rock turns into this strange Hulk like dude but brown, and he can fly in his normal form." Selcouth says.

"I feel so left out, I can't fly." I whine. "But I'll join, you need a lady somewhere in there to keep all those boys in check."

Luminescent snorted at that but he looked around.

"You can lift things right?" He asks.

"Duh." I reply.

He picks up a large piece of metal and throws it in front of me.

"Make it fly." He says, so I do. "Stand on it." I furrow my brow but I lower it so I can stand on it. "Now you can fly."

I make the metal move with me on it but I loose my balance and collapse onto the hard roof, I let the metal fall and it clangs to the ground.

"Ow." I say, rubbing my head and standing.

Luminescent laughs. "You'll just need more practice... And maybe not metal, try a surf board and decorate it how you'd like."

"I think I'll go do that now... Where's our Avengers headquarters?" I ask.

"We aren't the Avengers." Luminescent says, rolling his eyes.

"Sounds to me like we are." I snort.

"Headquarters are at 1047 James St." Selcouth replies. I nod.

*A/N I don't know if this is actually a place in New York...*

"When's the next meeting?" I ask.

"Come this afternoon at three, and bring your surfboard." Luminescent says and they fly away.

I head back to grandmas and change out of my outfit. I head out to a beach store. I find a white surfboard and I buy it before buying black spray paint and teal spray paint at the dollar store. I head back to my own house and go out to the backyard.

Luckily Calvin and dad are gone.

I spray paint the whole thing teal before putting a straight big thick black line down the middle.

I look at it before breaking off the back fin thing, not liking it.

By the time I'm done it's about two.

I decide to try again, I change into my costume and make the board fly. I step on it and take off. This time I'm ready. I go slow and steady, balancing myself well.

I make my way to 1047 James. St.

It turns out to be a house. I jump off the board and knock on the door.

A boy with shaggy black hair opens it. He's wearing jeans and a blue T-shirt. His eyes are a hazel colour.

"Enchanting Magic right?" He asks. I nod. "Welcome to the SCOPE Inc. headquarters!"

I walk in, my board in hand. I set it against the wall and look around at all the supers. They are all wearing their costumes except whoever opened the door.

"Rock doesn't mind his secret identity being known, he doesn't have a costume, so we use his house as headquarters. His parents know about it so they give us the whole basement for stuff." Selcouth explains.

"Nice board, you fly it here?" Luminescent asks.

"Yes. And before you ask, no, I didn't fall." I smile in triumph.

"Nice." Luminescent smiles.

"So, let's get right down to business." Shock says.

I nod and sit in the only open spot, beside Luminescent.

He keeps glancing at me so I focus my eyes on the table.

Luminescent speaks up.

"How about any one who's comfortable with us supers knowing their identity take off their masks." Luminescent suggests.

Slowly Dynamite and Black Dream take off their masks. They are two people I don't know personally but have seen through my school. Extreme Power and Fierce Shock keep glancing at each other, having some sort of conversation through their eyes.

No one else does.

"I would... But it would be awkward." I say, rubbing the back of my neck.

"That's fine, you don't have to. I'm not about to force a girl to do anything." Dynamite says.

"Aw, I like you now." I smile.

"I'm hurt, I was the first super you met!" Selcouth says.

"Wrong. My secret identity has met some." I say.

"Oh, who?" Power asks.

"If I told you then that super would be trying to remember all the brown haired girls they met." I say.

"True." Power nods.

"Can we just not have a meeting today? I mean, I'm feeling crappy and I need to go home." Dream says.

"Okay. We'll talk about our plan next week. Same day, same time." Rock says.

"Sounds good." Selcouth says. We all murmur in agreement.

I get up first and grab my board. I take it outside and Luminescent follows. The other supers following him, Dream and Dynamite putting their masks back on.

"Let's see you fly this thing." Luminescent says.

I roll my eyes and I make it fly before jumping on. With that I zoom off, keeping my board flat.

I'm out of their sight and heading home.

I'm a fast air surfing learner.
