Natsu POV

I was told today there was a new girl coming. Ive been wondering what she's like, hoping we can be friends. Well As long as she ain't a nerd or a fan girl that is, Fangirls are just to annoying And nerds they are just plain ugly and smartasses. Which is very irritating.

"Natsu stop staring off into space and notice me" my girlfriend Lisanna whined

"What is it Lis" I rolled my eyes. Sometimes she can be really annoying...

"Why don't we ditch school and go on a date" she said with stars in her eyes

"tch, I can't Lis I promised pops I wouldn't skip anymore" I didn't lie, but I also didn't want to leave

She puffed out her cheeks and turned her face the other way I chuckled at her dumb face expression. She was about to say something when our teacher Mr.Gildarts walked in.

'Just in time old man' I thought snickering to myself

"Good morning students as you may know we have a new student please come in and introduce yourself" He definitely sounded bored that means this girl ain't all that especially since he's a pervy teacher

A girl with glasses walked in her hair up messily and her clothes baggy. If that aint a nerd then I dont know what is. I already hear people giggling and talking about her. Its her first day at least give the monster a break.

"My names Lucy Heart" She Greeted

'pffttt like an alien' I thought

"what Kind of name is that!" someone yelled out causing everyone to laugh including me and the old man

Lucy POV

People were laughing at me even the teacher was chuckling I look at my feet not wanting to death glare the fuck out of them. Walking to the seat farthest in the back by the window I looked out knowing this teacher isn't going to teach anything useful.

Now to explain about the weird last name. Im the worlds richest mans daughter of the Heartfilia Inc. That is my biggest secret and the reason my last name is just 'heart'.

The girl in front of me was reading a book. Wait a minute I know  that book! Its called "falling for a nerdy goddess"  the first and only book my mother wrote before she .....left. I look over her shoulder to see my mothers name Layla Heartfilia printed on the cover. I feel a pain in my heart but I ignore it knowing crying wont solve anything. I put my attention back on the window and stare out at this lonely world. Wishing for my dreams to come true, But I was always told they never come true. Grabbing a notebook and pencil from my bag I begin to write down a poem my mother always told me about, adding my little spice to it though.

'I run away to my beautiful dreams where I can escape my ugly reality

As soon as my dreams disappear I become disappointed that my dreams are not my reality I wake up to this disgusting world

where if you are not perfection you are not needed that's just how disgusting and pathetic us humans can be

Your dreams cannot become reality if you are not classified as perfection

But perfection does not exist

For our eyes are blinded

By this horrible reality'

After I finished writing my mothers part I added that little spice at the end.

'But never give up trying maybe one day this world could look beautiful and our disease of blindness will be washed away for our dreams will no longer be dreams but only if you believe in yourself'

"That's a nice poem you wrote" looking up to see the girl in front of me reading my paper she smiled warmly at me.

smiling back "thank you" I whispered

She nodded "My names Levy, Mcgrarden"

"Lucy Heart" I said

"Can I call you... Lu-chan?" Her eyes were sparkling. She sure is cute..
I nodded while giggling a little. 

That day levy helped me and showed me around. My first friend in ages. That pain I felt in my heart no longing aching. My broken heart that was said to be unfix-able, Just one little piece was put back in place that day.
