I never thought I'd be stupid enough to agree with that slob on getting her that 'magic' lamp, knowing Petra she'd try lock me in the supposed cave. Turns out she went as far as telling Levi she would be returning to her kingdom for a few hours- that excuse was made only to bring me to the cave, let's just say the ride was awkward and silent.

It was nearing the night time as we arrived, the moon and sparkling stars up high in the sky of the desert, the distant light of Petra's kingdom illuminated the land for some few miles until it faded into darkness again. Petra walked me to the mouth of the cave where it was sculpted to the Tiger's face just like she explained last night. I shot her an uncertain look but the ginger only smirked and edged me towards it, inwardly groaning I swallowed and continued walking towards it- stopping at the mouth and eyes lit up from a flame by the looks of it taking me by surprise a little.

''Know this only one may enter here, one who's worth lies far within The Diamond In The Rough!" It growled out in a threatening tone. Just as it finished Petra called out to me causing me to turn around and look at her ''remember F/N, take nothing but the lamp.'' she reminded blankly as I rolled my eyes before continuing in- just as I was only a few steps in I could feel the ground give out from beneath me causing a scream to erupt in my throat as I fired down some sort of stone slide. Soon I felt myself hit a hardened surface with a thud completely taking my breath away, grunting in pain I wheezed and sat up, dragging myself to stand and look around.

I had landed at the beginning of some stone bridge, it looked very uneasy with no support system or railings to hold onto, god only knows how deep the pit below it went, probably forever followed by spikes or something. ''Lord this is freaky, the adventures of life huh..'' I sourly joked to myself before making my way across the bridge careful not to break off anything. As I was nearing a small doorway- the more gems and jewels began to appear as I finally arrived at it, spiderwebs laced at the covers of it making me shiver slightly as I walked into the large cavern.

It sparkled with different coloured valuables, everything in here could and would set you up for life- maybe even make you richer than a royal family if so, diamonds and emeralds shimmered, gold rings and stones gleamed in the little light that was allowed into the cavern and in the middle stood a stone hardened spire with an oil lamp sitting steadily on top, from the view that I had it looked pristine clean with no scratches or dents on it.

''That must be the lamp... Fuck this..''

Trudging along, the clinking of cold coins and trinkets echoed about as I kept my orbs trained on the item I was here in the first place for, just as I was about to take another step I felt my foot slip causing me to almost trip and fall over onto a bunch of crystals causing my eyes to widen at the sight. Just as I was about to brush myself off of any dirt something caught my eye, a rug? A carpet was it? A magic carpet seeming to be trying to get loose from a small boulder sitting on one of its corners. ''Woah... So you're a magic carpet... You do exist after-all..'' I stare in awe of it inspecting its details. It shook about and tried pointing backwards with its golden tassels that were kneaded onto a front corner.

''Hello carpet.. Stuck huh, well let's see if I can help you out then..'' I muttered stepping behind it to try to get a grip of the boulder, the carpet then began to stretch outwards as I began to try and haul it up, after a few seconds I managed to lift it and the carpet instantly shot off into the air, flying about and shaking itself off of golden coins and dust before coming back to me. The carpet wrapped itself around me for a few seconds in presumably a hug making me giggle and step about trying to regain my stance. ''Don't mention it.. Now go and stretch your..- tassels or something for a minute will you?'' I awkwardly suggest as it takes off again in an unknown direction around the cavern leaving me to head to the spire. That's when I began to climb up it.

Just as I was near the top, I managed to get a grip on the lamp handle before yet again my shitty foot decided to lose balance on a rogue stone. Shrieking I used my free hand to claw at the pillar, thankfully getting a grip on something smooth- my heart hammered in my chest as I glanced around noticing how high I was up still. I could see the carpet violently waving about as if it was trying to tell me something, taking in an uneasy breath I turned to see what I caught onto which made my heart drop to the lowest pit of my stomach.

A red ruby.

The rumbling began in the cavern again making me grip the ruby more- that same voice from before I entered returned in a furious tone which would make any other person pale and cold to the touch. ''You have touched the forbidden treasure! Now you will never again see the light of day!'' it roared and before I knew it the walls exploded into lava, smoke immediately began to fill the air inside of the compact space. ''Carpet! Over here!'' I call out before dropping, thankfully carpet caught me, I gripped onto it and the lamp at the same time just as an opening broke free- the moonlight poured in as we darted towards it dodging falling rocks and sparks of lava. Just as we were about to fly out a boulder hit carpet sending me off of it onto a small ledge. I hit the ledge and howled in pain from my arm taking the most impact.

Instantly, I began to scramble away at the wall of the ledge where Petra now stood with a guard at her side, she looked down to me in a blank expression as I tried to claw my way up in a panic. Looking up to her I shot her a pissed off expression ''ugh, oi red head! give me a hand!'' I shouted as she stepped an inch forward. ''First, the lamp L/N.'' she sternly refused ''goddammit! Give me your hand!'' I repeated as she shook her head and frowned ''We don't have much time F/N, hand over the lamp'' I groaned and winced in pain as I struggled- reaching for the lamp I got it and gave it to her, she smirked at me as I continued to scratch at the wall. ''Gimme your hand! Petra! Your hand!'' I cried out as she rested the lamp at her hip and grinned to me.

''How about my foot?''

I began to cry out in pain as she stepped on my fingers, before stomping down on them roughly making me wail, scowling I caught a grip of her dress and tugged her forward, quickly taking the lamp causing her to shriek of fright and stumble about as I lost my grip, letting go I screamed again as I neared the lava below. Petra hurried out of the cave with her guard as I fell, soon caught once again by the carpet and before I knew it we were off in a secluded area with no lava to be seen.

We landed on the stone and I rolled off of carpet, bringing myself to stand with the lamp on my hand. ''Ugh.. I knew she was gonna do something like that..-Hey carpet! Do you know a way out of here?'' I asked as it instantly began to point towards something at me, in confusion I looked over myself before letting my E/C iris' fall on the gleaming lamp. ''Fair enough...'' I say before hesitantly rubbing it, a strange blue mist began to seep out upwards into the air from it, soon swirling to show a woman with glasses and a wide grin. ''Oh! Finally someone at last! I never thought I'd get out of that thing-!'' The woman coughed before she suddenly put on a deep voice. ''Oh great one who summons me? the one who commands me, I stand by my oath- loyalty to wishes three..?'' she sounded confused with her arms crossed, looking to the distance as if trying to think of what to say next. I tried to muster up my words to talk as the woman giggled and went smaller in size- her lower half still the blue mist.

''Uh- I'm talking to a giant that's gotten incredibly small somehow?'' I ask, she laughs.

''Nuh- uh girl! I am no giant! I am a genie! Not a giant! There is a difference there, giants are not real.'' she says in a matter of fact tone, I gulp and nod carefully.

''So- first of all, call me Hanji! Or just simply genie, don't care! Let me stretch out a bit first, I've been in there for quite a while now'' Hanji cackled before ghosting aside and stretching to an inhuman length making my eyes bulge in surprise, watching her. ''So- you're my master now!'' she states as I wave my hands in front of me. ''What? I'm pretty sure you're fit to be my master.'' I retort Hanji continues to stretch before looking to me ''right but that's not really how it works'' she states, I ogle the lamp as she finishes her stretches. ''How long have you even been trapped in here'' I say gesturing to the lamp ''A thousand years'' Hanji replies calmly as I let my jaw drop to repeat what she said. Suddenly Hanji copies my face and tries to do my voice as I repeated her in a mocking way, ''does everything I say surprise you?'' she questions before floating towards me. ''So genie, wishes, lamps, doesn't really ring any bells for you?'' she continues as I shyly shake my head with a miniature smile.

''That's a first..''
