Please read Strangers first as this is the part two to it and kind of an epilogue to it

When Regulus' rental agreement ended one month later, James helped them to move to his place immidately. James' house was way too big for one person, so it was good that the two moved there. Alyssa got very big and nice room with her old toys and new toys, new furniture and a private bedroom, which didn't have a lock though for security reaons. This means that it's for if Alyssa faints in there or something.

Regulus moved into James' bedroom, so they slept in the same bed. Their bedroom was huge and it also had a private bedroom, which did have a lock as they were adults and could take care of themselves and a walk-in closet.

Regulus helped James with the coffee shop and Alyssa always tried all the new cakes and pastrys before they were added to their menu. They had lived together only a week, but they were already completly used to it. Regulus figured out James baked a lot at home, but didn't cook so much real food, so Regulus did that. Alyssa moved to another school too, because the old one was too far away. James loved Alyssa with all his heart, not only, because he had found out that she was his own, but because he loved all the kids. Alyssa felt kind of awkward with James though. She had only just met this man, what could you even expect from her? But they were starting to get better together.

James wasn't happy, that Regulus didn't tell him he had a child. He did understand why Regukus didn't, but it still broke his heart to know, that the one he loved the most, didn't trust him with this information. It was also the reason why he wanted to do everything he could to avoid loosing Regulus' trust ever again. He baked for him, he took a lot of care of the child and spent time with her, he made sure Regulus was fine...

He was thankful of the help Regulus had given him. It took a lot to make the business work and it had been hard specially after Lily guit her job when they broke up nine years ago. He had planned on opening a new shop to London or Brighton, but he couldn't work at two places at the same time. It meant, that he needed to trust someone enough for not to ruin the shop completely. No, he wasn't going to send Regulus there. It would be too long. So he needed a local person to help. The only problem was, everyone he knew were from his home town. That's why he put the plan aside and put his focus on the shop he had.

The shop was still located inbetween two banks. It was still small but cozy. And it was still the only memory James had of his parents. There were still mostly the same customers. The toddler that once visited the shop with his mother was now a teen. Oh how was the time flies by.

He and Regulus had once been 22 years old and in love. Now they were 33, lived together and had a child.

A thing James loved about Regulus at the shop, was how he acted. He was very intrested about the coffee and knew just as much as James. Regulus didn't speak of his sexuality and gender, which was wise, no matter how sad that is. Regulus also didn't call the shop "our coffee shop" like Lily used to call it. He called it "James' coffee shop". James had told him he could call "our coffee shop", because he knew they would work there together forever, but Regulus declined saying "But I haven't done any work to it! I just bought few drinks, but I didn't actually do any work! It's not fair if I call it ours. It's all yours, darling." James had been most suprised of "darling". Regulus called him the things he used to call James, and James loved it.

"Aww" James had said smiling. Regulus had raised his eyebrow as from his point of view this was not a time for an "aww". "You called me darling" James explained. Regulus blushed. "Shut it" he said. James leaned close to the shorter's ear. "And what if I don't?" he whispered. "I'll hex you" Regulus said. James giggled. "You are beautiful" he said. Regulus groaned and James put his hands on Regulus' waist. "Fucking hell Potter,  the things you do to me" Regulus muttered. James smiled to him and pulled away.

"Well, the shop must be opened in one hour and Alyssa is still sleeping. So if you excuse me, I would like to take the honor of waking her up" James said. Regulus nodded. "Well thank you kind sir" James said and bowed. He fucking bowed. But it made Regulus smile, and it made James happy to see his boyfriend smile.

"Hello madam, what would you like to order?" Regulus asked. He liked working as a cashier, it was nice talking to people, but not in a long conversitation. "Um, actually I'm not here to order anything. I came to visit my son" the woman said and smiled politely. "Oh, that's okay. Who is your son?" Regulus asked. He was suprised as the conversitation didn't go as usual. "His name is James Potter and I am Euphemia Potter. He is the owner of this shop. He told me there was someone he wanted to show me" the woman, now known as Euphemia said. Regulus smiled. So this is the one who raised such a lovely man.

"Yes, of course. Just a second" Regulus said. Then he walked to kitchen's door, opened it and saw James baking with Alyssa. "Darling! Here's a woman over here who wants to see you. She says she's your mother, Euphemia" Regulus said. James turned to look and smiled. "She's here" he said and took Alyssa by her hand and came to the customer space. "Hi mum" James greeted her. "Hello Jamie, who's kid is that?" she asked. "This is Alyssa, your grandaughter. And here's Regulus, my boyfriend and the kid's mother" James said. Euphemia smiled to the both of them.

"Why didn't you tell me ealrier? You are a wonderful child, Alyssa. I am Euphemia, your granny, but you can call me what ever you like" Euphemia smiled to Alyssa. Then she turned to Regulus. "It's great to see you! Call me Euphemia, dear" Euphemia said. "And you can call me Regulus, Reg, or Reggie" Regulus said. "I will" Euphemia said.

James' mother lived very far away, so they barely saw each other and his father was dead. It meant that James got the shop years ago, but he didn't have anything else from his mother, as she wasn't dead.

Regulus told Euphemia the whole story about the two while James took care of Alyssa and the shop. "At least you are together and happy now. However, I do apologize how he treated you" Euphemia said. "It's not your fault and he already does everything I could even ask for" Regulus smiled.

"I'm glad to hear that" Euphemia smiled.

Regulus and James got married a year later and lived happily for ever.
