SUMMARY:

C'ella Zhara loved her home. She loved the hills, the sunsets, the people and most of all the wondrous things they had accomplished with vibranium. The royal laboratories were her favorite place to spend her free time and together with the genuis that was Shuri she spend many days discovering what more secrets the vibranium held. But even though her mind was curious, she rather spend her time in comfortable places than go out and look for adventures. She enjoyed her simple life and wished for nothing else than for it to stay this way forever.

Unfortunately, life had different plans for her. Because when crown prince T'Challa returns from a mission abroad, he doesn't return alone. He brings home a challenge in the form of a broken soldier with a mind that no longer belongs to him. Together with Shuri, C'ella is given the order to cure him. At first she sees it as just another mission, another opportunity to find out what vibranium is capable of. But as time goes on she feels herself grow intrigued with the story of Bucky Barnes and is unable to maintain a professional distance.

And as she tries to heal his broken mind, she finds herself falling deeper and deeper in love with the mystery that is Bucky Barnes. And after all this time spend in the comfort of her own home and the familiarity of every day life she finally opens up her heart for something new, an adventure of feelings she has never discovered before. And soon home was no longer her country but rather the arms of a soldier who tasted like so much more than just heartache and war to her.

NOTES:

- So this is a very simple and cute fic for the one and only Bucky Barnes. This story is mostly about him healing and finding himself again after being freed from HYDRA and C'ella helps him doing so. C'ella is a very sweet, kind and open-minded character. She loves her home and doesn't like to seek out adventures but rather stays at home to work on her projects in the lab. She's very smart, not as smart as Shuri but then again no one is, but still smart enough to work together with the princess. They have this fun friendship with a lot of laughter.

- The story picks up at the end of civil war when Steve comes to Wakanda with Bucky in the hope of curing him. T'Challa asks Shuri and C'ella to start working on it. To built the relationship between Bucky and C'ella I think it would be best to not put him on ice immediately but have them do some tests on him first. That way C'ella already knows him and gets curious to his story before he goes into the ice. Or you can have him not go in the ice at all and figure out some other way to have them cure him, that's up to you.

- I think it's important to write the Black Panther storyline as well, since C'ella loves her country and would definitely get involved in the events of that movie. It could be fun to have Bucky awake during that time and write him into the storyline as well and have him take on the identity of White Wolf.

- You can write all the way into Infinity War if you want and have C'ella help Shuri on getting the mind stone removed from Vision. If you want to do Endgame I think it would be tragic to have C'ella not be dusted and mourn Bucky but you could of course have her be dusted too.

- I just mostly want this story to focus on C'ella and Bucky being cute together and falling together, though I'd love for it to built a little and be a slowburn since Bucky is pretty damaged and C'ella a bit hesitant to embrace these new emotions.  If they get together it would be somewhere at the end of Black Panther. They could live together in that cabin he's in at the start of Infinity War, just enjoying each other's company.
