It had been a few weeks since Kylo had rocked up in Jakku. During the time that they had shared together Rey and Kylo had become very attached to each other. It was hard for Rey to trust Kylo at first but as soon as she realised he would never hurt her she quickly became close to him. Rey had never been close to anyone so even if Kylo had been gone to long she would start to miss him. Sure she had missed things before like the thought of her parents abandoning her but this was different.

As the weeks went on it became more and more apparent that their food supplies were depleeting which terrified both Rey and Kylo. No zombies had gotten in through Rey's amazing fortress like defences yet but it was obvious that the zombies were still in Jakku.

On a night time you could hear them moaning and crashing through Jakku trying to find people to attack. It was scary to say the least.

It was almost evening and Rey had managed to find an old book to read in the living room whilst Kylo was off checking supplies.

"Rey would you come here for a second?"

"Yeah hold on." Rey hurriedly got up out of the living room to find Kylo in the kitchen peering at the supply cupboard.

"Rey we are running out faster than I thought we have only got enough food to last another day or two if we are lucky."

Rey immediately paled at the thought of having to leave her and Kylo's safe bubble in search of some food. Kylo realised and came over to Rey and securely wrapped his hand around her waist.

"We always knew we would have to leave at some point." Kylo said to her.

"I know its just that we have grown so used to being safe here we dont know what is out there. Well more like I dont. I have never been out of Jakku Kylo never. I have always wondered always wanted to leave but couldn't because I thought my family would come back for me. I know that they will never come back now. But I'm just so scared I have never been out into the world and now I will be but not into the real world more like an upside down hellish version."

"I know Rey but if we want to survive we will have to leave but dont you forget that I will be with you every step of the way ok?"

"I know you will Kylo thank you."

"Its getting late why dont we get to bed and we will talk in the morning come on."

Kylo lead Rey up stairs to bed. They both laid down minds racing trying to forget all the horriblness happening in the world and just trying to enjoy living whilst they could dreaming about the way the world used to be.
