it had been a week since the incident with Manic and Scourge as Sonic sat relaxing in the house he and Tails shared, Cyrus had left two days before to finish up some work that needed to be done for the Queen, so thing had been moving pretty slowly as they waited for Eggman's next attack

the peaceful afternoon was interrupted of course as his phone began ringing, he groaned to himself as he pulled the device from his quills, his phone he kept secret knowing how many would react, and ask him for his number, he didn't mind the thought of handing it out, it was just the people who would spread it and spam it

Yet the only people who did have his number and knew of his phone were Cyrus, Manic, his mother and his sister, who was in fact calling him right this moment, he sighed as he answered

"Hey Sonia, what's up?" He asked as he sat up and listened to her answer

"Manic's gotten in trouble again" Was what she said, her tone was unimpressed 

"Of course, what's he done now?" He asked as he tapped his foot

"Well Mum got the call from G.U.N stating that he's in one of the holding cells with his boyfriend" Sonia answered with a sigh, before seeming panicked "Shit, I mean his friend, not boyfriend, why would he have a boyfriend? She laughed nervously

"I ran into him a week ago Sonia, so I know he's dating Scourge, and let me guess, since i'm the closest I have to go bail him out?" Sonic rolled his eyes as his sister seemed to sigh in relief 

"Yeah, but the commander's requested that either Mother, or the crown prince or princess pick him and Scourge up, so if you don't want to do, I understand, since you don't want people knowing your the prince yet, just Manic would be there for a few days if that's the case" Sonia explained

'Nah it's fine sis, I can do it, besides it'd be fun to piss Tower's off" Sonic chuckled

'You sure?" she asked

'of course, I'll keep an eye on Manic and hopefully he'll go home soon" Sonic snickered

"Yeah right, he left in the first place cause he missed you Edge Lord' Sonia teased as she laughed while Sonic rolled his eyes and smiled

"Love ya" Sonic chuckled

"Love you too Sonic" Sonia replied happily as she hung up, making Sonic groan in annoyance as he stood and walked up to his room to get dress properly, no one was due to come around the house that day and he had no other plans that this would interfere with, Tails of course was busy with in the garage, and Sonic needed a way to get there, since running at his top speed would most certainly be a bad idea with the formal wear he had to wear, he sighed as he pulled out his phone and texted Knuckles to pick him up in the next twenty minutes and then went to get ready

while he waited for the echidna to arrive not waiting for a reply he went and got dressed, going through his bedroom closet and pulled out the suit case he kept in the back hidden from view and opened it, revealing a dark purple suit, the silver crown with the emerald jewels that matched his eyes and the other bits of golden accessories, the shoes he dreaded putting on, they were plain black, but he couldn't run in them he just sighed as he got ready, once finished he looked in the mirror and grimaced

But knew he had no other choice, and he walked down stairs to wait for Knuckles to arrive, but was greeted with Rouge and Shadow Talking with Tails in the kitchen about something, Sonic had been hoping no one would see him dressed like this except for the few people in G.U.N

"Faker, what the hell are you wearing?" Shadow seemed to have been the first one to notice, but Shadow's thoughts were more or less on how hot the other was in the suit

'None of your concern Shadow" Sonic replied sharply and headed for the front door

"Whoa Big Blue~" Rouge purred as she looked over "You going somewhere fancy?~" 

"If you count G.U.N fancy than sure" Sonic rolled his eyes

"Why are you going to G.U.N?" Tails asked with a slight frown

"Look I'll be back later I've got to deal with some things first" Sonic sighed as he adjusted the collar around his neck, yet the knock at the door drew his attention towards the front door and opened it to see Knuckles standing there worriedly but his cheeks went a light red as he saw how Sonic was dressed, before Knuckles could say a word Sonic did first "You better have brought your car Knuckles, it's the only reason I got you to come here'

'o-of course I brought my car, but why did you need me to-" Knuckles was cut off

"Just hurry up and start the car and get driving to G.U.N" Sonic muttered as he walked past the echidna, leaving everyone quite and stunned
