The drive was silent in Knuckles car, it was an average sized car, yet Knuckles rarely used it, unless he was required to, the message he had received was a typical one when it came to Sonic needing to be picked up, yet he'd hoped it'd be for something less formal for once, yet to be heading to G.U.N in his formal wear and not to mention the crown he'd placed upon his head upon entering the car, made it obvious something important had come up

'So..." Knuckles began awkwardly, yet he never asked his question as Sonic answered

"I need to pick up Manic and Scourge, the two obviously did something since Sonia called and asked me to pick them up from G.U.N" Sonic answered

'But why are you wearing that?" Knuckles rose a brow

"Tower's requested either my Mother, Sonia or the Crown prince come pick Manic up" The smile on the hedgehogs face was sweet yet pissed

"Oh..." Knuckles mumbled understanding now what exactly was going on

"Yeah 'Oh'" Sonic rolled his eyes, yet the car ride the rest of the way were silent, up until they parked out front of G.U.N, two Agents walked up to the car and Knuckles rolled down the window of the driver's seat

"State your business" One of them asked the gun in their hands ready to fire at any time

"I'm here with the Crown Prince of Mobitropilies, he requests to see Commander Towers" Knuckles answered, when he needed to play the part he did

"He wasn't expecting such a quick arrival" The other agent stated as they lowered their weapons

"Well he was in the area when he heard" Knuckles muttered as they pointed him to where to park and met him there as Knuckles turned to Sonic who sat in the back seat "Need me to accompany you?" he asked

"It'd be nice for someone to stop me from murdering my brother" Sonic smiled, knuckles swallowed and nodded, he'd never say how the other's darker more serious side made a sensation run down his spine, one that he loved

Knuckles nodded as he climbed out of the car and went to open the door for Sonic, out of respect, but Sonic had already opened it and was already getting out, a scowl on his face, while the two agents looked surprised to see him

"So where to?" Sonic asked in annoyance

'r-right this way" the first one stuttered as they then lead the way, as the two escorts showed the two where to go, people gave confused and shocked expressions as they passed, yet Sonic looked more annoyed than anything as he kept adjusting his suit, he hated wearing these cloths and couldn't wait to just get his brother and leave

soon enough they reached the head office, where Towers' office was located, yet first they had to speak to the receptionist, they took one look at Knuckles and Sonic, and called Towers, oblivious to the fact why they were here, but as the receptionist was calling, they had asked that they wait a moment, but Sonic being impatient went straight to Tower's office, despite being yelled after, Knuckles followed with a sigh, as Sonic walked into the office, with out even a knock interrupted what seemed to be a meeting

"Whats the meaning of this?" Towers glared at the hedgehog, not taking into account what the hedgehog was wearing, while the other human in the room watched silently

"You requested to see a member of the royal family didn't you Commander Towers?" Sonic rose a brow as Knuckles stood behind him 

"Of course I have, but you aren't royalty" Towers stated

"On the contrary, I indeed am royalty, the Crown prince in fact, and i won't be leaving without my brother and his boyfriend" Sonic replied in annoyance, while Towers fell silent for a moment then nodded silently to the other human in the room as dismissal, the other stood and left the room silently, Towers then turned to the phone in the room and pressed a button then spoke into it

"Bring the prince and the other he was with to my office" and then he turned to the two in the room "Have a seat"

"I'd be better off standing" Sonic answered, there was silence in the room until Manic and Scourge were pushed into the room, both hand cuffed

"Was this really necessary?!" Manic growled as he glared at Towers, before he fell silent when he saw his brother "Why'd it have to be you? Why not Sonia?"

"Sonia told me to come and get you, since i'm the closest Manic" Sonic scowled as he glared at his brother "and what the hell even got you arrested?!" Manic immediately looked away as Scourge rolled his eyes

"They were caught sneaking into G.U.N" Towers answered, Manic just smiled nervously as his brother's glared continued to be trained on him

"I see" Sonic muttered as he looked to Towers who looked right at him

"We expect payment for the damaged equipment" Towers stated

"Excuse me?" Sonic asked "You won't be receiving any payment for any damaged equipment"

"And why wouldn't I be receiving payment?" Towers rose a brow

"Well for starters this is a multi-million industry, and secondly aren't I always stopping Ivor Robotnik?" Sonic rose a brow, in question "Besides don't you need to stay on our Mother's good side Towers? You wouldn't like it if there was a sudden back lash that pushed humanity off of the planet would you?"

"I-I uhh..." Towers was at a loss for words as Sonic pointed things out, and not even a sense of hesitation or any amount of doubt in his expression

"So I guess this means the end of our meeting?" Sonic asked with an all but sweet smile, Towers only gave a small nod in response, while this new side of Sonic that he had just met scared him "Great, i'll be sure to make sure my brother and his boyfriend stay out of trouble and please if you do arrest them, please contact me personally" his smile never faltered as he placed down a piece of paper with a phone number on it and turned to the two hedgehogs in hand cuffs and waited for the guards to remove them, Manic had nervous look as he didn't meet his brother's eyes while Scourge glared, Knuckles remained silent by Sonic's side 

When the cuffs were finally removed Sonic smiled at Towers and walked away, taking his brother with him as Knuckles and Scourge followed, the smile on Sonic's face had turned into a scowl as they went to the front, being once again escorted to the front, where Knuckles car sat waiting

"look I can explain" Manic said when they got into the car

"Alright, explain why you broke into G.U.N when you know our relationship between the two sides of the boarder?" Sonic asked in annoyance

"G.U.N has things that belong to the royal family bro" Manic countered, causing his brother to turn to him 

"And how do you know that?" Sonic raised a brow, Manic only gave him a face as Sonic rolled his eyes "Right your 'sources', but that doesn't excuse what you did M" Sonic sighed

"I know, I know" Manic sighed

"So do you just have nicknames for everyone or?" Scourge muttered as Knuckles began driving away from G.U.N

"What do you think Scourge?" Sonic rolled his eyes and sighed "I didn't want people to know Manic, you knew that"

"I'm sorry okay" Manic frowned "I didn't we'd get caught or that Sonia would call you to get us"

"Well it doesn't matter now Manic, I'm honestly just glad your okay" Sonic stated as he looked out the window and watched the streets and people walk by as they continued home

"look I'll do anything to make it up to you" Manic smiled a little, yet Sonic glanced at him and rolled his eyes with a small chuckle

'You know exactly what i'd ask for" Sonic chuckled as Manic grinned

"So you want a new family or a boyfriend?~" Manic smirked as Sonic's cheeks lit up red and glared at Manic who laughed

"I meant you not to steal for at least a month" Sonic glared as Scourge couldn't help but chuckle as Manic smiled innocently, Knuckles just smiled as he listened

"There's plenty of guys that would love to go out with you bro! You just gotta give them a chance!" Manic grinned, but it faltered as Sonic sighed and looked away

"I'm just not ready" Sonic sighed, Manic sighed and nodded in understanding
