LEGO HOUSE

I remembered when we are young, we used to play building blocks by the sea shore.

It is when the sky was clear and blue
It is when I looked at your soft smile
It is when we shared moments together
It is when we become good friends

I remembered everyday you knocked on my door that late afternoon as you wanted to come along with me.

We imagined ourselves as the king and queen, while the playground was our little kingdom.

Back then, I believe in happily ever afters and the pure magic still live in our hearts.

For the very first time in my life, I was in love with my childhood friend.

I know it was crazy and all you did was to laughed hard at my red cheeks as you didn't took that so seriously.

When everytime I stare at your eyes, it made me realise my heart beats along with the butterflies in my stomach, feeling so enchanted because of you.

The words I must say to you was kept for long years as we both grown up and parted ways in life.

I still hold on by memories of us and the magic I used to believe was still inside my heart, wishing another day I could see you once again.

The worst day had happened when I saw you sat by the sea shore with a man, wrapping around your waist while you both watched the sunset.

Tears stung into my eyes, feeling speechless at the moment when you kissed him with love.

I was torn apart, my hands shaked with cold along with the reality had slapped right into my face.

I remembered it all to well, yet I was a fool to say a whisper farewell.

I love you so bad for you gave my love to someone else, it hurts I was no longer part of your fairytale and it hurts I was another illusion.

I grow up in believing that sometimes happily ever afters could also brought pain, when I saw you with your lover had a great story without me.

Only magic led me to a bitter delusion, a nightmare that I was left haunted because of you.

-- That moment I knew everything couldn't last forever, like our Lego House, it was made to built and falls apart. 💔
