LINES AND RHYMES

I wrote my heartbreaks in poetry
a love letter for myself
a journal of my unforgettable events
a diary of my bitter days
a reminder of my past relationships.

I'd read each chapter of my life
it is when I cried late at night
it is when I had wounded scars
it is when you broke my heart into pieces
it is when our almost love story had ended tragic.

Every ending of the chapter
I learned to be stronger to move on
I rested my heart from hurting
I healed my scars from bleeding
I breathe so I could live another day.

You are the reason why I wrote them
in every words I'd poured it with my tears.

You become my inspiration in poetry
in every verses I'd connected it with my emotions.

And without you,
maybe I couldn't been hurt so bad
maybe I couldn't been reckless
maybe I couldn't have this feeling
maybe I couldn't write a masterpiece

Thank you,
I become a better human being
a new version of myself
and a lover of mine.

I know we had parted ways
and said our goodbies.

But our history was left
behind in these pages
and it wouldn't fade in ages
