Y/n and Francis stood with  heir friends as the girls from Scotland stood with each other. Y/n and Francis watched as the girl all went to the middle and started dancing. The friends around them started talking. 'what are they doing?' 'why are they dancing like that?'

"I have no clue, Y/n why is your girlfriend dancing like that" Francis "oh don't be a ass Francis" Y/n spoke as Mary came running up to her "come on Y/n" Y/n shook her head "no I don't dance, love" Y/n got pulled by her arm, as Mary lead her through the crowd of lords and ladies. Y/n laughed and smiled as the two danced around.

Snow days were the best, Y/n hadn't
ever experienced one. So when she woke up and looked outside and saw white covering everything she was excited. "MARY!!" Y/n squealed with excitement as she rushed out of bed.

Mary jumped up "what is it?" She said in worry, until she saw the smile plastered on Y/n's face. "Do you want to build a snowman" Y/n moved in front of her girlfriend, and smiled, Mary let out a laugh and stood up. "For a queen, you are acting like a kid" Mary playfully spoke.

Y/n gasped and placed her hand over her heart "I am not a child, I am a mature queen" Mary nodded "okay love" Both females giggled as they walked quickly and quietly out of the castle. When they opened the doors and stepped out onto the powder that cover every inch of the ground from how far they could see. Y/n admires the beauty of nature until lips met her cheek and then something cold met her her down her neck. Y/n shivered at the feeling "How dare you" Y/n dramatic gasped as she tried to get the snow out of her dress, as Mary giggled the whole time.

Y/n picked up a bunch of snow "what are you doing?" Y/n nonchalantly walked towards Mary and then threw the snowball at her. Then it turned into a war of who could win. The two laughed. When the two stopped and looked around them they saw that is was snowing. Y/n looked amazed at the snow, but then her eyes landed on Mary who was spinning around and laughing. Y/n heart swelled at the sight.

"Why are you looking at me like that?" Mary questioned, Y/n moved over to her and engulfed her into a hug "like what?" Y/n asked "like I am your everything"

"Maybe that's because you are my everything, you are my life, my whole world" Y/n pressed her lips against Mary's.

Y/n and Mary coronation was today, Y/n and Mary were finally going to be queen's. They walked down the hall, with their maids following them from behind. Mary turned her head to look at Y/n "today we will be as one, as Queens" Mary smiled slightly at Y/n. The two turned the corner and walked out the doors into the big ball room. That was filled with people.

The two walked down the aisle. They stopped in front of the archbishop. Y/n kneeled down in front of him. He slowly placed the crown on her head. Y/n slowly stood up and the archbishop handed her the sceptre and orb. She held them as she walked up the few step and towards her throne. She sat down and smiled a bit before her face goes back to neutral.

"long live the Queen" Everyone said. Mary walked towards the archbishop and kneeled down. The Crown got placed on her head, she stood up and walked toward the throne next to her wife's. She smiled at Y/n and got a small smile in return. Mary sat down "long live the Queen" Everyone said, claps erupted around the room.

Mary turned her head to look at the Queen of France and now Scotland. Y/n was already looking at her. Mary's eyes held nervousness. Y/n eyes softened, Y/n put the orb in her lap, she didn't care if she couldn't do that, she is the queen of France and right now, her wife need her, and she would be there for her. Y/n held her hand out to the side for Mary to grab, which she greatfully did. Y/n rubbed the pad of her thumb on the back of Mary's hand. Y/n leaned over and kissed her knuckles "it's okay" Y/n whispered before sitting properly.

Y/n sat with at the council meeting, Mary would be with her at this event sitting by her side as they spoke for France and Scotland together, but Mary was tired, Y/n thought it would be best if she rested instead of tiring herself out more. Y/n was currently discussing the possibility in having an alliance with Spain, and Scotland on Mary's behalf, of course, she would discuss this with Mary when she got home and make her final decision when they spoke but when her brother came in the room, "Y/n may we speak for a second" With a gentle nod from the two councilors, the Queen stood up and walked off to the side with Francis. "What is it?" Y/n asks, the look on his face showed that something happened back home. "Something has happened at home" but the look on his face told her that something more has happened. "Francis what are you not telling me?" Y/n spoke and gave a little glare.

"Francis, what has happened" He stayed silent and looked down "As your sister and as Your queen you will tell me now!" Y/n ordered, already worries that something bad has happened, her throughts bounced around and then everyone of them fell on Mary "Francis if something has happened to Ma-" Y/n was cut off by her brother, "there was an assassination attempt, they came for you, there was two guards found dead and the assassins never made it into your room and they never touch Mary" that was all he need to say to get her, to turn around and leave the council room with an apology along the way and she said that she would continue this later as she left followed by the others.

Y/n walked through the doors of the castle to see Lola standing there by the doors of the ball room. "Lola where is Mary?" Y/n asked.

Y/n was met with silence, by the women in front of her "Lola where. Is. My. Wife" The queen demanded her closest friend to tell her where her wife was. "She's in Lady Catherine chamber" Lola spoke in a small voice "and something has happened" When those words left her mouth, Y/n raced off to see her wife to make sure nothing has happened. Y/n had been informed off the assassination attempt on her. When she entered the chambers. Her mother, Lady Catherine, was seated with her wife. "Oh thank heavens you're alright" Y/n breathed out a sigh of relief.

She took a step forward but got stopped by her Mother "slowly" Y/n looked at her mother as she approached her daughter  "just give her time and space and all you need to do is listen" Lady Catherine spoke before turning to Mary who was wrapping herself in her gown more, looking down "shall I stay" Mary shook her head and still didn't make eye contact with her beloved. Mary looked shaken up and frightened, and Y/n didn't dare step closer "they said that the guards outside our chambers were killed, and the assassins never made it in, they said you were left untouched" Y/n took a small step forward as Mary finally made eye contact.

"I lied, Lady Catherine lied because I told her too" Y/n looked shocked as she stared at her wife "I-i was raped" she spoke in a quiet voice. Y/n moved forward more, this made Mary jump and hold her hands out in front of her "no! No! Stay where you are!" Mary yelled. Y/n stepped back quickly, Mary calmed down. "Hey, Mary look at me" Y/n spoke softly. Mary met Y/n y/C/E eyes and tears welled up in her eyes. Y/n saw the scared stricken face and the bruises formed on her neck. "Hey it's okay.." Y/n cooed softly, towards her wife who was sitting on the couch "I'm here-" Y/n looked at her and took a small step closer "I am so sorry couldn't protect you as I should have, I will forever be deeply sorry for not bring you with me, this is all my fault" Y/n admitted and tears rolled down her cheeks.

"Because you weren't here? Because you were in Spain getting Allies and protecting your country and mine, because you were doing all that you could to get spain on our side? Please don't blame yourself" Mary states

"Mary, can I come closer?" Y/n asked

she got a small nod from Mary. Y/n stepped closer, Mary jumped again. Y/n spoke gently "can I sit near you, love" Mary nodded and calmed her racing mind and heart. Y/n slowly took a seat in the couch further away from her wife as to not scare her. Mary looked away from Y/n.

Y/n held out her hand slowly, Mary moved away "My love, I'm here for you, I just need to know that you will trust me and tell me what you are thinking" Mary didn't take her hand but she did move a tiny bit closer "Find the men who did this..."

Mary looked dead straight into Y/n's eyes "find them, and kill them" Y/n nodded and then Francis walked in, he had only heard about the assassination attempt not what had happened to Mary. Even though Francis wasn't a threat Mary still back away. "Mary are you alright?" The blonde man asked "Francis, I know you mean no harm but please get out, Mary's been through a lot today" Y/n spoke softly. Francis left the room "How about we go to bed, love" Y/n asked "you can sleep in your room and I can sleep in the other bed chambers if you want" Mary shook her heard "I don't want to be alone" she spoke.

Y/n stood up and held a hand out for Mary to take, she took it with a bit of hesitation. Y/n walked out with her. Y/n and Mary reached Mary's old chambers and opened the door. "Mary, love, if you aren't comfortable with me sleeping near you I can sleep somewhere else in the room, like on the chair I don't mind"

Mary shook her head "you can sleep on the bed" Mary layed down on the bed, and curled up in a ball. Y/n layed down next to her but still kept her distance so she doesn't scare her wife. Mary turned around and Y/n could see that she was still shaken up by the experience.

Y/n layed next to the brown haired female, "Y/n?" Mary spoke and Y/n opened her eyes "yes love" Mary moved closer to her, "can you hold me" This sentence came out as a whisper. "Are you okay with that" Y/n didn't want to push her wife to not do anything she wasn't comfortable with. Y/n moved closer to Mary and wrapped an arm around her waist pulling her close, Mary tensed up but relaxed immediately after.

Y/n moved her other hand to touch Mary's face. "I won't let anything happen to you" Y/n placed her hand on Mary's cheek. "I love you, Mary and I will kill those men who dared to lay a hand on you" Y/n pressed a kiss to her knuckles. A small smile made its was to her face.

Mary's eyes closed from her being tired. Y/n protectively wrapped her hand around her wife's waist as the brunette curled up against her.

Y/n stood up from her throne as the person who tried to assassinate her and raped her wife. His name was Severin, Mary sat down on the throne beside Y/n's, the begs of the man were heard as Y/n looks at the man with a stone cold face "Kill him!" Y/n order her guards. "If anyone raises a hand on my wife again you will pay the price far worse then death" Y/n spoke and turned to sit next to Mary who quickly grabbed her hand.

When Y/n got told by Mary that she was pregnant, it was the most happiest day of their lives. Y/n became even more protective of Mary. Anyone that came up to the two, Y/n would glare down, no one would even come near them. Until Mary nodded at them to approach and told Y/n to to calm down, Y/n was never happy with that decision..

But she listened to Mary none the less, She was still a great queen and everyone understood that she was really protective of Mary and now there unborn. Mary and Francis were talking about duties around the castle. Y/n has to slip off to attend a little meeting with the King and Queen of Spain. Mary and Francis went for a walk through the garden. "Well my sister is happy, she thinks the baby is a girl. I think that the baby will be a boy" Francis spoke. "Well I don't mind as long as the baby is healthy" Mary smiled and rubbed her baby bump. Y/n walked into the garden "there you are love, I have been looking everywhere for you" Y/n pressed a kiss to Mary's temple.

She turned to her brother "Hi Francis" Y/n smiled and sat next to Mary, she wrapped an arm around her waist.

Mary gave birth to a healthy baby girl, Y/n and Mary chose the name Cora, Mary held the little baby girl in her arms, the doctor stepped out as Y/n stepped in "do you want to met her?" Mary whispered Y/n carefully sat on the edge of the bed.

Y/n hummed softly as she looked at the little girl being moved into her arms. Y/n cooed softly at the little girl with (Y/E/C) eyes, and brown hair.."she's beautiful" Y/n whispered and placed the little girl back in Mary's arms she smiled tiredly.

"Go to sleep, love" Y/n whispers, Mary drifts to sleep, Y/n takes Cora out of Mary's arms she sits down on a chair.

Mary slept for a little while and that was understanding considering she had just given birth. The little girl giggled as Y/n places her in the crib next to Y/n and Mary's bed. Y/n smiled at the baby girl, who's eyelids began to fall asleep.

"She's beautiful Mary, so are you" Y/n whispers and pressed a kiss against Mary's head.

Y/n took her 3 year old daughters hand as they walked around the castle trying to avoid Mary in a game of hide and seek "Cora look over there" Y/n whispers to her daughter as Mary walked around the corner, Y/n and Cora hid behind a wall. They thought they were safe until, Mary came and grabbed Cora and started tickling her "noooo, we lost" Y/n dramatically said and fell on the castle floor.

Y/n's mother walked by the family, "get up Y/n" Lady Catherine said seriously "yes mother"

Mary glared at the Lady, and Catherine glared back. Y/n caught sight of it, Y/n understood that the both of them hated each other. Even if Her mother did help Mary, they still hated each other. Y/n stood up and took Mary's hand pulling Mary with her so they could catch up with their daughter. "Do you want to tell me what she did now, my love?" Mary shook her head, Cora ran up to her parents and smiled at the women. "Let's go for a walk in the Fields, Shall we love?" Y/n asked her Queen as Cora ran to the doors ready to go.

Y/n was discussing a plan to get new allies and have boats set sail to get supplies from Spain. Mary stood next to her resting a hand on her shoulder and leaning her chin on her hand. Y/n sighs and looks over a map that was laying across the table.

"We need to get the supplies from Spain without Elizabeth blowing up the ships we need to take a new route" one of the guards spoke

"What if we go through Scotland" This caught Mary's attention she tightened her grip about Y/n's arm in worry. "No we will not have Scotland, be more of a target by England" Y/n stood up for Mary's kingdom. "Thank you" Mary spoke and Y/n leaned the side of her head on Mary's. "We could-" Y/n cut one of her guard off for a second to address Mary "love, could you go tell the other guards that they need to start packing the supplies in the boats and that some of them are needed here"

Mary nodded "thanks" Y/n continued her discussion with the men.

Mary walked down the steps of the castle the cool air hitting her face as she walked up to the group of guards "you need to start packing the supplies in the boats then head up, to the court room because the Queen has Requested your presence" Mary spoke, the guards started laughing "What have I said that is funny?" Mary asks annoyed "we don't take orders from a I'm wench who doesn't have any power" one of them said "we only talk orders from the true Queen" Mary's anger flared up "I have nothing to prove to you!, I am a Queen" Mary stated firmly. They all laughed."Good luck with death" She turned on her heels and stormed into the castle.

The doors of the court room flew open everyone turned to look at the Queen, "OUT!!" Mary ordered everyone bowed in repect for their queen's and quickly lefted after seeing the fire in Mary's eyes "Mary my love, what's wrong?" Y/n asked "well your guards decide they only want to take orders from you, When I am also a Queen" Mary angerly said and Y/n hug her, the anger moved to Y/n, "and then they spat at there queen" Y/n order the guards to be taken to the throne room.

"I think you are wondering what you are doing here?" Y/n spoke as the Mens pleaded stopped "You disrespected Mary, The Queen of France, and you shall face my wrath" Y/n stated as she nodded at the other guards, one of the men dropped to the ground as the sword got plunged into his heart. The other spoke "I will not kneel to a faulse Queen and a Queen of Scotland"

"Then you will die" Y/n replied and took the sword and plunged the sword through his heart, as he screamed and fell limp to the floor "you will respect Queen Mary, She gives an order you follow it"

"I will not have anyone disrespected the Queen"

"All hail Queen Mary!" Lady Lola shouted and kneeled as Mary stepped forward and stood next to Y/n.

"All hail Queen Mary!" Everyone else follow suit and everyone was Kneeling for the Queen. Y/n kissed Mary's knuckles.

When Y/n found out she was Pregnant she was so happy to have another member of the Family.

Y/n told Mary and bother of them were so happy, Y/n giggles as Mary spins her around and pulled her into a kiss.

It was Mary's turn to be over protective now. No one could come near Y/n. Y/n had found out she was having a baby boy

Y/n and Mary were laying in bed, Y/n kissed up and down Mary's neck and giggled as she felt Mary smile. Y/n played with Mary's hair "Queen Mary, you are need at the docks" The Maid came in and informed the Queen, ever since Y/n got pregnant, Mary stopped Y/n from stressing herself out and Mary took over with Ruling the Kingdom, just whilst Y/n was Pregnant. Mary got up "Take Cora with you cause she wanted to go with you" Y/n sighed and watched as Mary left the room and she heard Cora leave with Mary.

Y/n tried to go to sleep, when she felt something drip down her legs she look led at her white dress to see a massive blood stain, Y/n started panicking "no no no no no" Y/n kept saying and screamed making Her maids come in, they saw the mess that covered her dress and bed sheets "noooo!!!" Y/n screamed more she cried and curled up into a ball. Maid ran to get Mary.

Y/n screamed and cried "I can't be losing my child!!" Y/n cried out and cried more "Y/n!?" Mary's voice ran out as she opened the door and rushed to Y/n's side "I've lost our child.....I lost my boy....."
Y/n cries out as Mary pulls her into a hug and rocks her back and forth, as she strokes her hair "shhh" She cooed and Y/n still cries "I lost the child- our child" tears formed in Mary's eyes as she thinks about it. "I love you, you know that right" Y/n nods "I love you too" Y/n sobs out.

"We can get through this okay, just like everything else" Mary spoke and Y/n hugged her more. "We will get through this..."

"Together?" Y/n mumbles

"Of course we will, my darling"
