Flashback

Katie's POV

Worst day of my life.

I have to wear a dress.

This sucks.

I don't want to be here.

Whyyyyy.

My brother calls me.

"Katie!"

"No, leave me alone. I don't like you anymore" I growl sitting under a tree, arms crossed and all.

"Yeah right, get over here" Matt picks me up by the arms and drags me over to mom.

You see, my lovely brother and mother made me wear a dress, A DRESS! I hate dresses! (A/n you and me both sister)
And! To make it worse I have to wear this stupid dress to a Easter party hunt thing. And! Yes, more "and's" I'm pretty sure Matt is trying to set me up with his best friend. I've never even met this guy, I refuse to even go near him.

Matt sets me down on top of the blanket mom threw on the ground, I'm currently sitting on a blanket in a huge grassy field.

My mom opens up our picnic basket.

"Okay, so we have.. tuna sandwiches, turkey sandwiches, chicken salad sandwiches, chicken sandwiches, burgers, peanut butter and jelly sandwiches, peanut butter and something something blah blah blah, talking mother talking, unimportant information about dumb snacks from Japan, how did she get those? Blah blah blah"

I wonder what Matt's friend looks like, the egg hunt starts in an hour, I'm sure I'll see him ..

"piDGE!" "What" "the egg hunt is starting sooooon" my stupid brother smirks.

"You're mean."

"I know, now let's go look for Shiro" Matt stands up and starts walking to the middle of the field, why you ask? I don't know.

"Shiro's the 'best friend' guy, right?" I stand up

"Yup"

"Nope, I refuse to go find him, or talk to him" I sit back down.

"Please?" Matt begs.

"No"

"Please"

"Nope"

"pleASE"

"nOOOOo" I screech standing up and stomping over to Matt, tripping on my dress ending up with me on the ground and my glasses in Matt's hand.

"Please give them back.." I look at Matt- or, a blurry figure. I was scared because he was probably going to run away with them.

"Nope" he runs away.

I get up and chase after what I thought was Matt. There were multiple kids running around, but I find him eventually.

I tackle him.

"Gotcha! Now give me my glasses back you rat!" I exclaim holding Matt down.

My vision clears up now that I'm closer to Matt's fac- oh no, that's not Matt.

"Oh no.. oops, haha sorry I uh, tripped.. yeah" I say nervously, the man under me covers his face with his hands

The guy under me was clearly very uncomfortable

"I'm sorry! Did you hit your head? Why is your face so red?.. are you okay! We're are my gosh darn glasses!" Now that I look closer at this guy, he's kinda handsome, okay.. really handsome.. I need help. He has a black uppercut with a white floof of hair on the front of his head, a large scar across the bridge of his nose, and steel grey eyes.

"I'm sooo sorry! I thought you were my brother" I get off of the man.

"It's uh- fine.. I'm Shiro" he sa- wait, Shiro? that's Matt's friend! Oh no, oh no, I said I wouldn't talk to him! Nooo.

"Oh, uh- I'm Katie" I hold my hand out to shake.

"Nice to meet you" he smiles

"yeah, yeah, same. MATT!! WHERE ARE MY GLASSES???" I run off

End of Flashback

Shiro's POV

"And that! Is how Shiro and Pidge met." Matt says standing up, Lance, Coran, Allura, and Hunk all applaud, Keith didn't because he fell asleep, Lance dared him to drink warm milk, why? I don't know. The last thing Kieth said was "I'm lactose intolerant and I hope this kills me" before downing all the milk we had.

"That was pretty accurate Matt." I grin looking at Pidge.

"Yeah, Matt was a rat" Pidge grins looking at Matt.

"Hey! I wasn't that bad.." Matt yells at Pidge.

"You filled my bedroom with sand and made it a beach for a prank. My parents almost killed me" I deadpan.

"Whaaaat?!?! I HAVE TO USE THAT ON KEITH!" Lance runs out of the room

"Oh no" Pidge, Matt, Hunk and I say in unison
