"LAAAAAAANCE" I scream running out of my room, before quickly hiding back inside.. embarrassed, I chickened out

"Yeah?" Lance comes strolling down the halls, carrying a bunch of decorations, I thought nothing of it

"What is THIS" I point to my.. my.. PINK hair..

"Oh woah, that's awesome Shiro! Love the new look" lance turns around and walks the other way

"Wait.. you didn't do this?" I point to my hair again

"No.. Pidge did." He walks away

"..... WHYYYYYYYY-"

Time-Skip still shiro's POV (due to Shiro moping around)

I lay limp on my bed...

"Uhggggggg.. whyyy! I just wanted my hair to stay the same for.. for at least a year!" I Cry.

Then something clicks inside my brain.

"Katie can fix my hair!!" I half smiles and walks out of his room.

"Nope" I runs back into his room.

"I need protection from the cruel.. evil.. teenagers.. my paladin armor! And helmet, definitely helmet.."

"There, safety.. I'm safe from the evil words.. nobody can see my hair now" I puts on his paladin helmet.

"Alright! Now I can leave" i walks outside of his room, with All his armor on.

When I walks out he see's Hunk carrying icing? Yeah.. that looks like icing. Hunk looks around like he's sneaking around, he spots me before running into a room. I thought nothing of it

I make it to Katie's room

Knock knock knock

"Come in!" Pidges muffled voice says

I open the door

"wHy! wHY dId yOu dO tHiS!!!" I walk in and close the door behind me, before taking off my helmet and pointing to my pink hair.

Katie try's to suppress a laugh.

Flash back Katie's POV 5 hours earlier

"Tell me why you had to wake me up while I was getting beauty sleep" Lance is the last one to walk into the lounge

"ALRIGHT! ITS SHIRO'S BIRTHDAY!!" I yell standing on a chair I had pulled into the middle of the room earlier

"WHAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAT" lance shrieks

"Yup, I know. I already got him a present" Keith smirks

"Whaaaaaa...." Lance. Whispers to himself

"wow! It's number.. umm -Coran stands next to Hunk, measuring his hight- 2! Number 2, yeah... it's his day of birth!" Coran cheers (A/n yes! Hunk is the tallest paladin, 6'1" i believe.. Shiro be sHoRt, erm, second tallest..)

"Well... it's more like.. hehe- 7 and a half.. he was born on a leap year.. hehe" I laugh

"Oh! I'll make the cake!" Hunk shouts happily "and I'll get him a present, we should each get him one"

"Good idea Hunk! Let me give out the jobs" I say

"Okay, Keith! Lance! -"yes?"- you guys be in charge of the decorations! -"got it"- don't mess it up!" I growl out that last bit "hunk your in charge of the food'n stuff" I say "oh yeah, I'm the distraction by the way" I say with a evil grin

"Okay! Paladins! MOVE OUT!!" I yell

"What about me??" Coran asks sadly

"Ummm.. Ah! You invite people!!!" I say starting to walk out, before stopping "don't go too overboard Coran"

"I won't number 5!" He says with a big smile

End of flash back, still Katie's POV

"Don't laugh at me!!! My.. my beautiful hair.. it's pink.." Shiro whispers, poking his hair floof.

"Ppffffttt- I'm- haha- I'm sorry S-shiro" I laugh, falling onto the ground.

"Yeah, thanks" Shiro puts on his helmet, then walks out of the room.

"Wait!" I yell running up to Shiro

"Nope. I'm gonna go fix this"

"No! Umm.. Because.. I uh- I hurt my wrist! Yeah.. that" I lie. I know the others aren't done with Shiro's surprise party

"Oh no! Let me see" he grabs my arm inspecting my wrist carefully

"Does this hurt?" He touched my wrist

"Um- no- I mean, Ow! Yeah.. owww" I lie nervously

"Oh! I'm sorry"

"It's.. um- fine.. hehe" I start to feel guilty for tricking him

"PIDGEOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOON" I hear Lance's voice echo through the halls. very loudly may I add

"ITS DOOOOONE!!!!" His voice echos

"What's done?" Shiro asks, definitely confused (A/n Poor Shiro 😐)

*exhale of zee air* "follow me" I sigh

"But your wrist.." he see's I'm holding him with the "Hurt" wrist

"How.." he breathes out

"I'll explain later" I lead into him to a dark room

"This doesn't seem safe" Shiro sighs

The lights flicker on and- oh holy Quiznak

"SURPRISE" a whole load of people yell.

"Aw, thanks you guys" I smile "you too Lance"

"Happy 7 and a half birthday Shiro!" Lance yells

"WHA-"

"CAKEEEEE" I think Hunk yells

Katie leads me to a 3 tier Cookies and Cream cake (A/n I have no regrets)

We finally give slices to everybody

As I was about to take a bite of my cake, I realize I would have to take off my helmet, it wasn't worth it anyway...

Slav scampers up to me and says "you know! In most of the other reality's, your not born on a leap year!" I frown

"That was ru-" I get cut off

"TO THE PRESENTS" Matt yells, walking over to one corner of the room

"Woah.." there's a huge tower of presents in that corner of the room

1 hour later

"Still not done" I say

3 hours later

"Still.. *inhaling zee air* not... done" I gasp lying in a pool of wrapping paper

"You know.. in every other reality.. this was a good party" Slav says sadly, messing with his cake.. Up side down

So many hours later, that the old narrator died, and they had to hire a new one. Oh! and all the guests left...

"Finished!" I say tiredly.

sadly everybody left me.. except for the paladins and coran.. Allura is dead.. so..

"No your not" Keith says

"What?!?! Is there a room full of these things?!??" I exclaim

"Well yes, you got a lot in the mail.. but Keith meant we have presents for you!" Lance beams

"Aw, thanks guys.. who's do I open first?" I ask

"Mine!" Hunk hands me a box about as big as a plate, it has bright yellow wrapping with mini oranges scattered across the whole thing, oh and a orange ribbon

I unwrap it carefully, revealing 7 Cookies And Cream cupcakes.. and a half cupcake

"7 and a half cupcakes, for the 7 and a half year old" Hunk smiles

"Thank you, I love it Hu-" I get cut off for the 50th time this day

"MINE NEXT" lance pushes Keith over and runs over to me he hands me a light blue box, with a dark blue ribbon

I open the box and.. oh, that's so sweet. Black lion slippers

I smile

"Do you like it?!?!?!" Lance asks, jumping up and down

"Yes lance, this is really sweet, I love it" I smile, kinda like a father praising his chil- oh no.. so the legend is true..

"Me next! Keith hands me a red box with a black ribbon

Inside there's a small dagger 🗡 (A/n kinda like the emoji) this was a pretty nice thing for Keith to do, I know how much he loves his knives.. and to give one to me! Wow. Just wow.

"Do you like it?!?!!" Keith ask, not looking nervous at all, but I can see in his eyes he will have a mini mental break down in his head if I say no.

"Yes Keith, this is the best gift you've given to me, ever" I chuckle.

"MEeEEe nEXt!!" Coran hands me a hot pink box, with rainbows a unicorns all over, oh and a rainbow ribbon

"Opeeeen ittttt" i hear Coran whisper

"Ache be gone... Apply after using healing pod" I read out loud

"Yeah! You seem to die a lot! So I got you the good old Ache be gone slime, works like a harm"

"Charm" lance corrects Coran

"Ah, yes Charm" Coran twirls his mustache around... I wish I had facial hair.. last time I tried that it didn't end well, let's just say it ended up with me strapped to a chair, and Keith shaving the beard off.. so I gave up on my dreams.. now I'm beard-less

"Thank you, Coran. I'll be sure to use it next time I die" I smile

"Okay my turn" Katie throws a light green bow with a black ribbon at me, before sprinting down the halls

"Uhh, okay" I open the box, extra carefully

Inside is a note, I open it

It says

Dear Shiro

This is for your new hair

-The Gremlin

I look at the bottom of the box and... there's a- A BLACK COMB

"IM GOING TO KILL HER" I get up and sprint down he halls, leaving a confused Keith and Hunk, and a dying of laughter, lance.

"YOUR SOOOOOOO DEAD!!!!"

"I LOVE YOU TOO" she laughs

"LOVE YOU MORE" I smirk

Did I mention she's my girlfriend?
