The sun peaked in through the curtains and brightened the room. You stirred around until finding a new comfortable position where you then slowly opened your eyes. You saw the dark blue walls and scrunched your face once you realized you fell asleep, not just in Seokmin's room, but in his bed. You looked around and saw that he wasn't there. You threw the covers off, but had enough courtesy to make the bed, and left the room. You went downstairs and saw everyone eating breakfast. 

'How come I am always the last one up?' You asked yourself. 

"How could you take over Seokmin's room and make the poor boy sleep on the couch?" Your mom asked. 

'No good morning? Fine then.' "I didn't mean to." You said quietly. "Sorry Seokmin." You mumbled, blushing. 

"It's fine." After breakfast, your parents went out to do some shopping, leaving you and Seokmin at home alone. You both sat on the couch in the living room.

"Do you want to do anything today?" You asked, looking out the window at the grey skies. He shrugged. 

"Not really, do you?" You shook your head. You wanted to stay home because it seemed that every time you went out, something happened that involved Mae, also, it was raining. You and Seokmin just surfed the channels while sitting on the couch. You settled on watching Ninja Warrior. You saw one guy struggling to hang on to the bars. 

"Come on! Be a man!" You yelled at the tv. Seokmin just laughed at you. You noticed that you and him were sitting a little closer than you normally would. You swear you could feel the heat radiating off of him. You felt your heartbeat increase and you took a deep breath. 'Why am I getting all worked up? He doesn't even like me like that.' You told yourself. 'He probably likes Sophia.' "I wonder what Sophia is doing." You said. 

"Hmm? Maybe you should call her, invite her over?" He suggested, still looking at the tv. 

'Why does he want her over here?!' You yelled internally. You put in a smile. "Right, I'll see if she's busy." You texted her saying if she wasn't busy, she should come over. She said she would be over in a little bit. You weren't entirely sure if they liked each other, but when Mae said that, it got you thinking. So now you want to get to the bottom of it. When Sophia got there, you sat down on the couch with her and Seokmin. 

"I'm glad you invited me over, I was about to text you anyway. My dad was making me watch golf with him." She said, rubbing her eyes. She was sitting in between you and Seokmin, so you though this was the perfect opportunity to see if either of them would make a move. After a while, nothing was happening. You thought maybe it was because you were in the room, so you excused yourself. 

"I have to pee." You mumbled. 

You nonchalantly walked to the bathroom. You opened the door then closed it, you still out in the hall, to make it seem like you went in there. Then, you slowly tiptoed to the end of the hall and peered out into the living room to see what they were doing. They were still in the same position as before. You laid low as you watched them for a few seconds. You were for sure you would catch them doing something, but nothing was happening. You sighed quietly and went back to the bathroom. You quietly opened the door and went in and actually used the bathroom, then went back into the living room. You stopped and looked at them, then sighed and went into the kitchen.

"Do you guys want anything?" You called. 

They called out drinks and snacks and you got them and brought them back to the living room. You sat back down next to Sophia. You were quiet most of the time while Sophia and Seokmin exchanged comments about the show you were watching. During a commercial, Sophia stood up and stretched. She grabbed your arm and pulled you up and brought you to your room. 

"Are you okay?" She asked. 

"What do you mean?" 

"You've been really quiet. I know when there's something wrong with you." You sighed, not wanting to beat around the bush.

"Do you like Seokmin?" You asked. She started smirking.

"How did you know?" Your heart sank. Mae was right...for once. You forced a small smile. 

"Just a feeling." 

"Please don't tell him." She said, trying to hide her smile. 

Now, not only do you have to deal with Mae, but your best friend too. But the thing is, you don't know if you can crush your best friend's heart by admitting that you like Seokmin too.
