But I promise you this
I'll always look out for you
Yeah, that's what I'll do
My heart is yours
It's you that I hold on to
Yeah, that's what I do

The silence between them felt heavy, but it was a different kind of heavy—one filled with understanding and hope rather than despair. Minho resumed feeding Hana, when Seungmin and Jeongin returned with boxes of food.
"Food Delivery- oh"
Seungmin stopped in his tracks.
Minho's head whipped around, his eyes widening slightly at the interruption.
"Finally. How long were you two planning to take?"
"Why are you so shocked?"
Hana asked, seeing that they both had seemed to stop in their tracks.
Jeongin, peering over Seungmin's shoulder, blinked in astonishment.
"I've never seen him like this. This day keeps unfolding."
"Seriously, you both look like an old couple,"
Seungmin remarked with a playful smirk, breaking the silence with a hint of amusement.
Minho's cheeks flushed a subtle shade of pink as he glanced back at Hana, who managed a faint, amused smile.
"Not what I was going for, but thanks,"
Minho said, rolling his eyes but clearly embarrassed.
"I was just trying to make sure she was okay, as a 'friend' you know?"
Jeongin chuckled, shaking his head.
"Well, you're definitely winning the 'dedicated friend' award tonight. Here, we brought dinner."
Seungmin set down the boxes on the nearby table, and they began unpacking the food. The rich aroma of various dishes filled the room, a welcome distraction from the earlier tension.
"Sorry it took so long," Jeongin said as he opened a container.
"There was a bit of a line at the cafeteria."
Minho took a quick glance at the newly-arrived food, then turned his attention back to Hana. "Want me to help you with anything else?"
Hana shook her head gently.
"I'm good for now."
"Alright," Minho said, squeezing her hand gently before standing up.
"I'll just grab a quick bite."

As Seungmin and Jeongin finished their meals, they quickly packed up the leftovers and prepared to head out.
Seungmin stood up, stretching his arms.
"Alright, we're going to head out now. Jeongin, you ready?"
Jeongin nodded, wiping his mouth with a napkin.
"Yep. We'll see you tomorrow, Hana. Get some rest, okay?"
With final goodbyes, Seungmin and Jeongin exited the room, leaving Minho and Hana alone once more. The door clicked shut behind them, and the room fell back into its earlier quiet, now tinged with a renewed sense of hope and comfort.
Minho took a seat beside Hana's bed once again, his earlier exhaustion now masked by a protective resolve. He glanced at Hana, who was already looking more at ease despite the circumstances.
"How are you feeling?"
Minho asked softly, his eyes searching hers for any sign of discomfort or fatigue.
"Better,"
Hana said, her voice carrying a note of sincerity.
Minho gently stood up and adjusted the blankets around Hana.
"Get some sleep. I'll be right here."
"Goodnight, Hana," Minho whispered, his voice filled with quiet resolve. As Hana's eyes finally closed, Minho settled back into his chair, his gaze never leaving her.
As Hana's eyes began to close, a new question slipped from her lips, her voice still drowsy but curious.
"Where are you going to sleep?"
Minho's gaze softened, and he looked around the room, a hint of a smile tugging at his lips.
"I'm going to stay right here," he said gently.
"I've got a couch. It's not the most comfortable, but it's better than being anywhere else."
"Minho-"
"Only one night, I'll be fine."
Hana's expression softened, a mix of gratitude and affection in her eyes.
"You're unbelievable, you know that?"
Minho chuckled quietly, his gaze unwavering.
"Maybe. But I'd do any-"
The door creaked open, interrupting him. A nurse stepped and asked,
"Mr. Lee?"
Minho turned toward the door, his expression shifting to one of polite curiosity. "Yes, that's me."
"Dr.Shin would like to speak to you"
The nurse relayed the message.
Minho nodded, his face showing a flicker of concern. "Thank you. I'll be right there."
He turned back to Hana, giving her a reassuring smile.
"I'll just step out for a moment to speak with the doctor. I'll be back soon, okay?"
Hana nodded, her eyes still heavy with sleep. Minho carefully stood up, smoothing the blankets one last time before heading towards the door. He was guided down the corridor by the nurse, who led him into a Doctor's office.
He arrived at the doctor's office, knocking lightly before stepping inside. The doctor, a middle-aged woman with kind eyes and a calm demeanor, looked up from her desk.
"Mr. Lee, thank you for coming," she said, gesturing for him to take a seat.
He settled down in the chair, waiting for her to continue.
"So, about Ms. Hana."
"I'm assuming you're wondering what happened."
The doctor's gaze was steady and compassionate as she began.
"Yes, I understand that this is a difficult time, but I need you to tell me everything you know."
"But I don't know what happened myself either. I haven't talked to her about it, she just woke up, I don't know how to."
"Let's start from today morning, it doesn't have to be in detail."
"She'd just come back from her parents house last night, so when I went to her room, I saw that she was crying, and she had a bruise across her face. I don't know the story behind it, but that's what I saw. And then we had a small argument because she tried to shut me out after I asked her what's wrong, but eventually I went back to my room and around 6am in the morning, I heard the main door open and close. That's when I got up to search her room, and I found her letter and phone. It was basically a goodbye letter. But I quickly hurried out, searched for her, and when I found her... she was standing on the hill with her hands bleeding and a hand full of pills, which I threw because I got there before she could swallow them. And then she fainted."
"Do you know why she would try to do this?"
"She's had a hard time. That's all I can say, it's not my place to explain her problems when I don't know them so well myself."
"Okay, that's alright. Here's what we're going to do," the doctor said firmly.
"We'll be assigning her a therapist for regular sessions, at least twice a week. Additionally, if she requires further assistance, we will ensure she receives it."
"What if she says no? Well, I'm definitely for this, but knowing Hana, she wouldn't want one."
The doctor's expression was resolute. "She doesn't have a choice in this matter. Given the seriousness of the situation, it's essential for her well-being. Our goal is to provide her with the support she needs to recover and heal."
"Okay, I'll do my part, that's no problem."
"We'll be discharging her tomorrow, there's no point in keeping her here, and she might get better at home."
"Yes, thank you."
With that, Minho prepared to head back to Hana's room, who was already fast asleep.
