Small time skip: 2-3 months later.

Minho POV:

It's been almost two months since the sleepover, since I've moved into this new place, since I've met Hana, Seungmin and Jeongin. Obviously, Hana and I have gotten close, all though she doesn't always match my energy, but I see her put in the effort to carry out a conversation.

Remember those texts Seungmin sent me after the sleepover ?
Those texts still make me wonder why Hana needs someone to keep an eye on her. She seems okay, but Seungmin's text made me a little unsure. I tried to do what Seungmin told me, I mean she's my roommate, so there's nothing wrong in keeping an eye on each other, after all, I'm doing it for her well-being, right? Except there's no each other, just me- looking out for her.

Seungmin and Jeongin call or even text me often, either in common chat groups with our other friends or in personal chats, talking about random things, which usually leads to asking about Hana, but there's nothing much I can say. Because she's almost never free. And, I'm not gonna lie, it makes me feel a little lonely, because it doesn't feel like i have a roommate, but she has her priorities straight. I aspire to be her in studies, which i never was because i was busy doing sports and was not the best at school. I bet Hana could find a way to juggle more than one things even if it meant sacrificing a few other things. 

We did hang out on the weekends, for a few hours, catch breakfast together and talk about random things. Seungmin was right, she might seem boring and quiet, but she can yap- okay, that just sounds like I'm annoyed. Yes, She can talk a lot, but I could hear her voice the whole day. What I mean is that it's better than having her go through her periodic quiet phase. Yes, in my almost 3 months here, it's happened twice already. When I told Jeongin this he said,
"That's just her, she gets like that often because she gets tired every now and then."

My break from training gets over day after tomorrow, that means I won't stay home a lot, and I need to get back to hardcore training again. I've met most of my friends before that happens, and I'm meeting Seungmin, Jeongin, Felix and Hyunjin today. I get ready to go out, but don't forget to feed my cats before i leave.

"Are you leaving?"
I heard behind me suddenly

"Ahh shit- Oh it's you. You scared me. Yes, I'm going out."
I said, keeping a hand over my chest.

"Yeah, Seungmin told me. Where do you go first?"

"Uh- to Jeongin's and Seungmin's house because they want a ride. Seungmin told me you don't want to come. Why?"

"Ah yes, I've got a lot of things to do before Monday. But have fun alright?"
She said, before turning to go back inside

"Hana-ya, wait.
I said holding her wrist, but immediately regretting it and withdrew my hand. 

"We're going to hangout and eat some hot pot, a few drinks maybe. Hyunjin and Felix will be there too, You sure you don't want to come? It'll be fun."

"No, I can't afford to take a break right now. I have too much to do."

"Are you sure? You're always working. Just take a break for one night."

"Not it's okay, of course ill be just fine."

"I might not come home, will that be okay? You won't be alone or bored?"

"No, I might just go to bed"

Were the lies something to be concerned about? This wouldn't be the first time.
Hana barely sleeps, we all know that.

"Liar, you don't sleep."

Hana laughed lightly, not denying the fact that sleep was often elusive to her.

"I'll try today."

"There's food in the fridge if you get hungry, heat it up."

"Sure, I'll do that. Now go. Have fun."

I didn't want to leave it at that, but I also knew there was no use arguing with her.
She was as stubborn as a mule.

"Alright, alright. I'll go. Take care, okay? And don't work too hard."

Hana POV:

"don't work too hard"

What do you know? Working hard is all I can do.

I watched as Minho left, disappearing from my view. I took a deep breath and walked back to my room thinking that I should focus on my work. But a hint of loneliness crept into my heart as I thought about having fun with my friends, while in reality, I would be stuck at home, studying.

"Well, I guess it's just me and the cats tonight."
I said, as Doongie walked upto my legs.

A few hours later: 10pm

Well, 1 more hour became 2 more hours, add another, and another, make it 4 hours in total. She'd gotten up twice, to make a cup of coffee and to heat a plate of food. But her body was giving up, it couldn't take another of these long night, or should I say, long days and nights with almost no sleep. She was soon hit with the 'sleep starts' despite her best efforts to stay awake, her weary mind and exhausted body eventually succumbed to fatigue. and before she knew, her head hit the table, her mind and body relaxing and she was out like a light, finally, at 3am.

Minho POV:

It's currently 9am and I've just woken up, but my whole body hurts. Take a wild guess who I should blame. But, it's worth it, because not gonna lie, i had a lot of fun last night.

I left a text on our Group chat for them to see whenever they woke up telling them that there was hangover soup and drinks in the fridge.
