Today is me and yoongi's one year anniversary. And he has a surprise night planned for us. He rented an Air BNB for the night it's some house just outside of town.

I divorced Chan 6 months ago and I decided to sell the house and split it 50/50 in the divorce agreement. So I'm currently living with yoongi. I stopped taking the pill 2 months ago at yoongi's request. We have been using condoms instead.
He still has his good days and bad days but he has way more good days now that he knows I have his back in this fight.

We both took the day off today to pack for our mini trip. I decide to bring a cute nighty that I bought for yoongi.

He's out buying last minute items for our trip. So I quickly grab the gift I bought him and put it in the bag.

As soon as I finish packing I put both luggage bags in the living room by the front door and as soon as I turn around. Yoongi comes walking in.

"Hi kitten. These are for you"

He hands me a bouquet of flowers. I smile big knowing how loved I am with yoongi. Chan never treated me like this.

"Thank you so much baby. I love you"

"I love you more" He says kissing me.

We both pack the bags in the car and head to the house yoongi rented.

It's only 10 minutes away. So I wondered why he'd pick something so close. As soon as I pull up, I see the house.

It's a beautiful house. 4 bedroom
3 bath house. But when I walk inside I notice the house is empty. I walk into the living room finding a blanket with rose petals fake candles and pillows.

I look at yoongi.

"Happy anniversary kitten!"

I wrap my arms around him hugging him tight.

He spins me around and sets me back down.

"Go sit down baby I'll bring in the bags."

I kiss him on the lips then go sit down on the blanket. This house is super cute I thought to myself.

Yoongi walks into the house with our bags. He sets them down and carries a bag with food in it.

He opens it up and there is dumplings with corn dogs and tteokbokki with soju and sprite.

I clap my hands happy that they are all my favorites.

"Thank you yoongi!!"

I sit and eat with him while catching up on work and life.

"Yesterday I caught hobi fucking Liz on his desk" I tell him.
He laughs out.

"No way!"

"Yeah it was akward but they are so in love they remind me of another couple"

"Oh yeah who?" he asks

"Us silly"

"Oh yeah" he smiles his gummy smile.

He leans over to kiss me.
"Come let's look around the house."

He stands up and lifts me up to stand. I grab his hand intertwining our fingers.

He leads me around the house. I check out the kitchen, its huge and spacious with granite countertops. Then we head to the rooms, All of them empty except one. One room is fully furnished. It has a large bed too.

"This is wear the magic happens"
He says earning a chuckle from me.

"Check this out!" He says as he walks to the bed and pulls straps from behind the headboard and the sides of the bed.

"It comes with built in restrains"

I laugh loudly then grab yoongi leaning into his chest.
"My kind of bed"

"Wanna break it in?" He looks at me with a smirk.

"Sure!" I say excited.

"Ok. But first lets finish looking around" He says

He grabs my hand again and I walk to the master bathroom.
Theirs a cute vanity with a large mirror, then I see a huge sunken tub with spa jets and I squeal.

"I love baths!"

"I know baby" he kisses the back of my neck.

"Come, there is one more rooms to see. He leads me across the hall to another room. He tells me to close my eyes, So I do.

He puts his hands over my eyes and follows me into the room.

"Stand here. And don't open your eyes"

I nod. There's a small pause then he speaks

"Ok open your eyes"

I open my eyes and see that I'm standing in the middle of rose petals and candles. I look at yoongi confused. This is our anniversary gift?

"It's so pretty. Thank you!"

He chuckles
"Awe kitten this is what makes me love you all over again. You love the simplest things. But this is not your gift. You're my gift. You standing here perfectly wrapped and looking gorgeous. I'm so lucky to have you and I want to ask you for a favor?"

"What yoongi?" I look at him confused.

"This past year has been the best year of my life. And I want the rest of my life to be as happy. But I know I cannot do it without you. I know you're the one for me and I know I'm not perfect, and that you may not want to risk your heart again. But if you give it to me I promise to cherish it and never break it. I'd rather die than to break your heart."

He gets down on one knee holding a box open with a large diamond ring in it.

"Y/N will you do me the honor of being mine for the rest of our lives. Will you marry me?"

I put my hand over my mouth in shock. I love yoongi. But I just got out of a Loveless marriage. I'm shaking and tears are welling up in my eyes.

"Please say something kittten" He says worried

Besides the time 6 months ago when I discovered his depression he's never hurt me or made me feel unwanted. He's always shown me love and admiration. He's always put me first.

I see him start to close the box and hang his head low.
I kneel down pulling his head up by his chin and looking deep in his eyes.

"Yes, yoongi. Of course I'd marry you. You're the love of my life"

He smiles a gummy smile and opens the box putting the ring on my finger. When I look back into his eyes I see tears in them.

"Thank you for loving me Y/N. Thank you for never giving up on us. I promise to never let you down." He kisses me, then releases from the kiss

"So do you like the house?"

"I love it! It's so cute." I respond

"Good cause it's ours. I felt like we needed a fresh start"

He grabs the side of my face caressing it before he places the sweetest kiss on my lips. Soon the kiss becomes needy and he scoops me in his arms and carries me to the bed.

He pulls off his shirt and pants as I pull off my dress.

"Now it time to make love to my fiancé"
he says hovering over me. And my heart melts.

"Fiancé has a nice ring to it" I think before he devours me.
