CHAPTER 22:
Girls day.
Quinn

"I did need a break from all this karate stuff."

Sam smiled, "Agreed."

We decided to spend the day together and designate it as a girls day. We brought our favorite products and masks and Sam decided it was time for me to watch Magic Mike.

"By the way, I invited someone."

"Aisha?"

She smiled nervously, "Not exactl-"

"I brought donut-!"

Everyone stopped what they were doing as Moon waltzed in with a box of donuts and Sam looked at me with an apologetic smile.

"You didn't tell me. . ."

"Why is she. . .?"

"You guys may not like eachother, but everyone's so divided now between Cobra Kai and Miyagi-Do that I thought we should just forgive and forget?"

Forget?

Forget what her family did?

"I was your age too, Quinn," Moon surprised me.

"I didn't know what happened, and only when I was old enough to understand, my parents twisted it. They were ignorant, and I'm so sorry about that. But, I've changed - they've changed, and I just hope you're willing to accept me and my apology now," She said as she held my hands in hers, looking sincere and genuine.

". . .Did they really apologize?"

"Yes, my parents called your mom nonstop, but she refused to answer."

"She is stubborn," I admitted.

"Just like you, and just like me," She grinned in hope.

"Well give me one of those donuts, I'm starving."

"You-you guys broke up?"

Moon frowned, "I'm not going to date a bully."

"Same here," I chuckled.

"So, what's with you and Robby? I saw the fight at the mall, and heard your first words too."

What?!

I almost choked on my donut, "Th-that's online?"

"You and Robby?" Sam inquired, looking just as curious as Moon but even more confused.

"Well, my first words were actually "Yes Robby, thank you" because he helped me from falling, I just. . .twisted the words a bit."

"To see him angry?" Sam guessed.

"I guess. . .I wanted to see him hurt like how he hurt me. That he can't use me like some pet just waiting at the door for him," I explained.

"I'm thinking of having a small party in a few weeks. Do you guys wanna come?" I looked to Sam to see if she would accompany me, as I wouldn't feel comfortable going by myself.

"Sure, sounds fun."

"Yeah, let's just keep it on the down low though. Don't want any Cobra Kais crashing," Sam joked and out of the corner of my eye, I thought I saw Moons eyes widen and look to the side.

But chose to ignore it.

Sorry its so short!! I was all over the place today trying to find a job and then cook dinner. Hopefully I'll get a job at Petsmart or Bath & Body Works cuz I hear they pay well.
