CHAPTER 18:
Losing game.
Quinn

"I still can't believe you've never had funnel cake," Robby smiled as I devoured the funnel cake with a scoop of vanilla ice cream on top.

Never really liked festivals.

Until now, atleast.

"It's. . .good," I managed to get out, feeling so good to finally be able to speak again and I got this giddy feeling in my stomach.

For now, I'm only comfortable speaking to people I'm closest to. I was shocked that my first words weren't towards Eli, like I had planned, but was satisfied with it nonetheless.

"Are you ready for tonight? I know you might be shocked by my amazing skills, so don't be afraid to applaud," He joked and I giggled, feeling more and more close to him every day.

"Thank you for. . .treating me like a person," I stuttered out, still using my ASL or moving my hands since it's all I've done for so long.

"What do you mean?"

"M-Most people treat me. . .like I am broken. Like I-I can break. . .but you treat me fairly," I summed up, hating how the stuttering might be around for some time.

"Anyone who treats you any less should be ashamed of themselves. Mute or not, you're still a person who can do things herself and can probably do it better."

Robby brought me in for a well-needed hug, and my heart was still, until. . .

"Quinn?"

My eyes immediately widened as I heard Hawks voice and turned around to see him glancing between the two of us.

"What are you doing here? With Keene?" He glared at him.

"First Sam, now Quinn? What, you couldn't just stop there?" He stepped closer, but I put myself infront of Hawk and stood in between them.

"Let's go back to Cobra Kai. Your grandfather is already fitting in with everyone, he wants you there."

"But I don't like fighting. I don't like Cobra Kai."

"Just him being here provokes a fight."

"Then let's see for ourselves who's better," Robby challenged him, coming up behind me.

"Please, just go."

I pleaded with Hawk, and he scoffed, again looking between us but there was nothing to look for.

Please don't start.

"You said you liked me, right?" The very mention of it made my heart jump and I nodded, feeling a bit weird that Robby was still there.

"Then make me a promise. I want your first words to be my name," The fact that I've always wanted that and he's asking made me want to just say it right now.

But the altercation wasn't done.

"Are you serious? After everything you've done to her, the things she's told us, you expect her to crawl back to you like that? And don't you have a girlfriend?" Robby reminded thr both of us, and as much as I wanted to spite Moon, I knew she would still be hurt if I did anything and stepped back.

I was so hurt when I saw all of that.

I wouldn't want Moon to feel that way either.

"I don't remember talking to you," He snapped at Robby and then turned his attention back on me.

"I'll see you tonight, princess. Make sure to keep that ring on," He winked before running away, leaving me frustrated and confused.

I don't know what to feel anymore.

Hawk doesn't know yet muahahaha!!! Anyways, for my three Cobra Kai fanfics (yes three, I'm making a Miguel one as we speak), the main character is always related to one of the original Karate Kid cast. For Quinn, it's Kreese. For Nia, she might also be related to another student if the theory reigns true, and it's the same for my newest character.
Leave me face claims for who you'd want to see play Miguel's love interest!! Preferably one who can be a snobby rich girl ;)
