1 year later🫶🏾.

it's been a year and flaujae and paige are close to getting married. they thought that their busy schedules would force them to hold off but they end up having time to actually have the wedding that they want.

flaujae was drafted #1 overall to los angeles. although they have so many amazing players they needed another guard after someone on the team was injured the season before.

and she was grateful wherever she went because no team is bad some of them just had rebuild their teams and work around injuries.

paige's rookie was as historic as you could imagine. even through so many injuries in college it did not stop her from going to the big league and giving em h*ll.

but she's happy to have her fiance in the big league with her and they cannot wait to play each other this season.

"i can't believe we're actually getting married" i said.

"see you worry to much baby. i told you it was gonna work out." flau said making me smile and nod.

"so are you gonna wear a dress or tux ?" she asked.

"idk im stuck.. because a tux is so me lol but this is like a once in life time opportunity so i wanna be able to bring out my feminine side" i said.

"well don't stress it love wtv you choose you're still gonna look amazing" she said.

"thanks mama" i smiled and she nodded.

"how's la ??" i asked.

"good it's so dang hot tho lord. like i ain't never been so hot" she said making me laugh.

"are you excited for the szn to start ??" i asked.

"yess, i can't wait & this team make it so easy to enjoy and they don't treat me like a rookie" flau explained.

"aww i love that for you love. i can tell you're happy you got that glow" i said making her blush.

"thank you stink.. it don't matter how long we been together you still make me blush everytime" she said making me smile.

after talking to flau i headed to practice. the way my body gets excited to pick up and orange ball lets me know how important basketball is to me.

once i got there i walked into the locker room and walked to my locker and sat down.

"hey maddy" i said with a smile.

"you gone speak and give me a hug heffa" arike said pulling me up and hugging me.

"dang i was going to i swear" i said hugging her back.

"mhmm" she said side eyeing me making me laugh.

"HEYY" tearia & kalani said at the same time.

"i luh yall too" i said and they both flipped me off making me laugh and shake my head.

i changed into my basketball shoes and we ran out onto the court and got shots up and warmed up before practice actually start.

"good job" liv said as we high fived each other.

"thanks to my fav other dark chocolate" i said.

"water break" coach yelled. we walked to the locker room & i sat down at my locker drinking my water.

"so are you excited about the wedding ??" azura asked.

"definitely. i can't wait to get johnson-bueckers on my jersey" i said.

"PERIODD" they yelled making me laugh.

"liv let's talk about why azzi posted that pic of you on insta ?? tell her don't do my kid" cameron.

"azzi just be playing in my face fr cus she always post the most embarrassing pics of me but when i do it she be crying and begging me to to take it down" liv said shaking her head.

"he's good but i think he miss me cus when he with maddy he really just be cutting up fr" she said.

"feeling yoself way to much bookie" i said making her smack her lips and lightly hit me.

"cam how's the married life ??" rae asked.

"it's good im just a girl in love" she said with a big smile.

"period. we love that. nah the way he don't play bout you and the way he look at you like you the prize i love that." liv said.

my phone vibrated. i grabbed it and looked at the message but i didn't have the number saved.

flaujae: who tf is you ?

unknown: don't worry about it.

flaujae: then stop texting me dumba**. how you even get my number ?? weirdo.

unknown: it's me jordan.. but please hear me out. i just wanna apologize for everything i put you through.. you ain't deserve that and i was hoping you could give me another chance.

i rolled my eyes and blocked the number. ion even know how he got my number again after 2 years.

after the water break we headed back onto the court to continue practice. ik i shouldn't have even entertained him but when ian even know who it was at first.

& after he told me and gave me that sorry ahh apology it p*ssed me off and i had to get ts off my chest fr. but anyways i can't wait to marry paige.
