Loved by a Vampire

Suddenly  nandini kicked her leg on her chest with all the energy left in her and she landed up on the ground coughing too hard.

Nandini too ended up on the ground & rubbed her own throat which was squeezed like a jelly by the Veronica.
She pressed her throat to an extent which made it difficult for nandini to even open her eyes due to heavy eyelids now.

Then she rubbed her eyes and tried to open her eyes as quickly as possible.
And nandini sensed Veronica getting up and soon nandini too started roaming her hands on the humus filled ground to find the sword.

But before she could do anything , Veronica grabbed her by her hair tightly.
Nandini let out a cry at the sudden pull of her hairs as her eyes closed automatically in pain.

" Try even harder to defeat me. But for that you need to have some energy left in you ha ? Right ? "

With this she grabbed Nandini's face in one hand and literally digged it with a nearby tree. Nandini's half face was being pressed against the tree now.

The hardness and roughness of the tree made it more difficult for nandini as she struggled to loosen Veronica's hand on her face.

" You know what ? I'm loving to see you struggle , letting out the helpless cries because of me. It's giving me another level of satisfaction.
This last moments of your life would let you know that how much I love my sire , manik."

Veronica said with the determination to get manik by hook or crook.

" You could.... only kill me. But... You couldn't..... change his... feelings for me. Never...... ever.  "
Nandini coughed as her throat went dry due to pressure Veronica was putting on her face and neck , but she managed to say  this with a winning smile plastered on her face as drops of blood still oozed out from the corner of her lips.

Every word said by nandini acted as a lava on her raging hatred towards nandini.
As she pressed Nandini more into the tree cutting Nandini's delicate skin on her head now.

Nandini cringed her brows in anger now as with a force nandini gave her a hard punch over Veronica's chin by her elbow to defend herself and veronica touched the ground and winced at her sudden attack.

Then holding her head in one hand she searched for the sword here and there and she saw something shining near the another tree and she due to drained energy , she somehow reached it and picked the sword with very difficulty.

And as Veronica jumped on nandini , she just with in a  second positioned that sword towards Veronica's stomach.

In a moment Veronica's eye popped out due to sudden attack by nandini with the sword and losing the balance , veronica landed on the ground lifeless.

Seeing this nandini tried to get up and as of now it was pitch dark now with an eerie silence prevailing all around her.

This cold yet spine chilling experience made nandu scared a bit as she tried to see through the way. It was all clear.

No one around her. Nandini shooed away all these thoughts and again went to waterfall area where manik would be there.

As she drank some water and splashed some on her face and she hissed when the cold water touched her bruises on face and lips due to that Veronica.

Unknowingly her eyes went upwards and saw the moon getting red now with the sky getting more darker than the usual nights.

And her face hung in shock as she saw the place near the bonfire they lit was empty now.

She sat there crying with the realization that manik is Missing , she's in between a dark pitched forest with even the trees looking like a monster in the way to her.

Where she's hardly able to see what's through the path due to the thick trees and ground full of humus.
She shut her eyes tightly & joined her hands and looked upwards.

"Aiyappa , please keep manik safe. I know he is not in danger like I'm in right now. Keep him safe Aiyappa.

And make this night end soon , today is red Moon night where Vampires are high on their power by killing human with some rituals and by successfully doing this they drink the blood at last. And they gain there powers after this ritual.

I know Veronica wants to kill me to get manik and powers too to rule over him.
For that I have to save myself.

But till when ? This scary night is gonna take long to end.

Do I really deserve to die like this aiyappa ?"

She closed her eyes as fresh stream of tears threatened to come out of her closed eyes too.

Somewhere in the open of the Forest we can see a well built man with his shirt lying on the ground is digging the ground.

Looks like digging a grave. In sometime we can see that man dug out the deep grave and lots of soil mounted around it like a little mountain around the grave.

Seeing that , that man evilly smirked and
put back on his shirt as when he came back to his place that is the bonfire.

(Manik was the one to dig the grave )

He saw his nandini near the water and seeing the shadow of someone on her back he nodded his head left and right in a No as he screamed loudly.

Nandiniiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiii.

" Vampires don't die with a sword you stupid human ! "
A dark yet known voice took Nandini's attention.

Before she could react anything that shadow neared nandini more in a fast pace.
Seeing this manik too sped towards nandini.
